This place is a dump. Of all the 24 hr locations Ive been to, this is the worst. Weights and dumbbells are always scattered all over the floor or left on the bars and machines. The members here are too inconsiderate and lazy to put things away in their proper places so other people can find them. They dont pull off and rack their weight so others will know theyre done with the equipment. Most members here in Stockton are stupid and dont know how to act in a gym. I always see people sitting on machines just talking on the phone or playing with their ipods. The staff is not much better. They dont clean up either. The night shift people just sit behind the counter and watch TV. Equipment maintenance is poor. Nearly every machine is out of adjustment with slack in the cables and missing parts and screws. They all need lubrication. Pointing out equipment issues to staff is a waste of time. Ive had to bring in tools and fix things myself. The showers are usually out of soap, the toilet stalls are usually out of toilet paper and seat covers. The janitor walks through in the middle of the day with the vacuum cleaner, dragging the cord around and getting in the way while ignoring all the trash that people just throw on the floor. At night the locker room gets hosed down leaving the floor and benches all wet. The TV in the locker room has been broken for over a year. This is the level of respect we get from 24 hr Fitness for our money. The manager must be a total, lazy idiot to let this go on for so long.

I live in San Francisco but visit Stockton often because my family is here. I go to the gym every day (sometimes twice) and sometimes switch up which one I go to and this is actually an amazing gym (considering, yes its Stockton). First, its huge, theres a lot of newer machines and many machines in general. The free weight area is huge with many weights and many varieties that other 24s dont even have, incline/decline bench press, a couple of pull up bar set ups, a few smith machines which is nice. The staff is friendly and nice and Ive never had any issues, they always smile and say hi. Im not sure why there are so many complaints, I usually dont comment or write reviews but I felt it was needed due to all of the complaints. If Stocktons gym is better than most San Francisco 24 hour Fitness, then youre fine. Its clean and gets the job done and if youre serious and realistic about your health and fitness, then you wont mind it. I highly enjoy it. If youre not happy and have written a review, do us a favor and go somewhere else and dont take up space for those of us that actually work out and enjoy the space, thank you.

As far as gyms go this isnt bad. They dont always have enough of the popular machine (treadmills) at peak times and they seem to have a decent amount of machines our of service. The machines and locker rooms are clean and the majority of the equipment works well and is kept in good condition. Also if you can get them on a special (which they seem to have every week), the price is more reasonable than InShape. The place is way better than Club fit USA (more expensive though), but maybe not quite as good as InShape. InShape will likely cost you more per month though. Basically you get what you pay for. If you are on a budget and want a place to work out, this is a good choice, IMO.

This is such a crooked business. They have continued to charge my account after trying to cancel membership for 6 months. They refuse to let me cancel, and continue debiting money out, even after my card expired. They obviously tried several times before guessing the expiration date on my new card and continued to withdraw money each month? Now that I have stopped payment on the membership because they have given me a complete run-around and refuse to cancel my membership despite several conversations, they are trying to send me to collections. This is a terrible business. Not to mention, it is in a dangerous location. BEWARE!

Im a member in washington and i came down here for vacation and i was gonna work out and bring four of the guys i work with and i have guest priority access and i brought them in and when we got there they didnt give them a guest pass and they wouldnt let me work out......... Customer service sucked ass and mike is horrible and no one there wanted to help us or wanted more customers so they suck. Dont go here dont waste your time, this location was the worse gym in the universe. Go to fitness evolution next to the mall in stockton and talk to cierra shell hook you up, im not even a member and they still let me work out

Ive been a member since this location opened, moved to SoCal, and this place hasnt improved. I follow a program involving minimal weights,which it lacks and not to mention benches, mats, step platforms, etc. Many of the machines needs to either be replaced or removed. Some are outdated. This place needs more space and an upgrade very badly to accommodate the different kinds of work outs trends that are now out there.

This is a good gym, its just very small and cramped. All the other 24 hours i have been to have well maintained locker rooms. Womens bathroom floor is always wet. Half of their cardio equipment (treadmill, stairmaster, elliptical) is broken. Some of the weight machines is non functional (broken). On the plus side, they do offer a variety of fitness classes, they have a daycare, and smiling staff.

They dont enforce safety rules where so many inconsiderate people leave their gym bags on the floor regardless of multiple signs stating "gym bags are Prohibited on workout floor". Just waiting for someone to get hurt or worse. Other inconsiderates hold up equipment/workout stations talking, texting or playing games on their phone, even knowing someone is waiting to use it.

I go around midnight to 3am...For 2 yrs i have seen the same woman and man cleaning the gym well ..Everything..the treadmills she will aslo clean..Im just absolutely amazed this gym gets cleaned daily compared to the one in Santa Barbara..no one cleans that 24 and it stinks inside. Staff is also friendly and chill. Best super sport 24 iv been too.

Honestly I really recently just used the indoor full court basketball gym. A basket on the east and identical one to west for 5 on 5 pick up game is normal. Also for warm ups 4 more baskets on the sides, 2 north lined up with 2 south. Thats 6 hoops and its active as advertised,....24 HOURS.

Moved across states and had a 2 year membership with 24. Ended up using this gym but was disappointed. Ancient equipment. Half the treadmills dont work. Gives the 24 hour brand a bad name. The owners must not monitor this location, I would recommend finding another location.

I have only gone there for the use of the pool per my doctors recommendation. I find it clean and no problems with the look or cleanliness at all. Since I have not used the machines at all, I cannot comment on them. On my way in a few minutes for some swim time.
