False advertisement. Found an ad on Craigslist stating they have "immediate job openings" and "looking for 200+ workers" So I went in person and applied, waited for 2 hours to be seen. Balance staffing gave me an in-office drug test on the spot and I passed. I was told Im hired so they had me fill out orientation paperworks. However, no start date and told me it could take about a month to know when Ill be starting, but the ad said IMMEDIATE OPENINGS with over 200 positions. I called and they changed their story by stating that they dont have any positions available at the moment and that theyre only a staffing agency. They changed their story after I had filled out their "orientation packet" and took a drug test. I took a screenshot of that ad and they tried to say "Oh its been up there for quite sometime now", uhhh no because it shows the date they were looking for people. 200+ people. With a lot of people looking for jobs, its really wrong to lead people on thinking theres jobs available when really, there arent any. UPDATE: 3 months later and still no job.

I had two interviews here I met with Alex and then I met with Teresa both of them Tony and that they will I had two interviews one was with Alex second one was with Teresa. Everything seemed to go great! Teresa tolded me shell call me back, but she never did. I left her a voicemail never returned a phone call and I left Alex voicemail. I dont do any drugs, Im professional worker, Ive been in customer service/admin for about nine years, and I wanted to to warehouse because receptionist/admin positions in Stocktons are very limited- they pretty much told me not fit For the wear house position( even though I did three months at a warehouse ). People who were being interviewed in front of me had issues with their license they had a bad criminal background they were having allot of issues. Then theres me who Doesnt do drugs have a driver license has a reliable car and is a professional worker.. They didnt want to hire me I dont understand that. I feel like they are just a total scam and they just make money off of peoples applications. Your lost!

Never answer phones, voice mails are always full and cant leave a message. Recruiters are unreliable. Had one interview me and called to ask about work but no one there had ever even heard of me. Called that person back and left a message and never got a call back. Called the office and had to come in for another interview and fill out paperwork for a specific job which I was told Id get either the 2nd of January or the Monday after. Called them to ask about it and was told my information was never submitted because they were on vacation. Now Im being told it will take three weeks. I need a job, I HAVE BILLS TO PAY SO I CAN SURVIVE. Repeatedly call to ask about any other work available. The one time someone answers the phone they send me to voice mail (which is still full after 3-4 weeks? ) I dont appreciate these games. The temp agency I worked at in washington gave me work the next day and always answer my calls so I dont understand why its so hard for them. Highly unprofessional and a waste of time. Look elsewhere.

rina told me to come to the office to talk about a job position. i text her before i came to the office telling her i was coming and she said ok it. when i got there i sat down on one of the seats texting her that i was in the lobby then one of the workers asked me if i had a appointment and i told her that i was there because rina told me to come in so she can discuss a job position with me and the lady told me that rina wasnt in and that their boss threw a raffle and she won a trip to go water rafting and she didnt notify me that she wasnt going to be there but she expected me there. i got an unexpected interview and since then she has been doing nothing but giving me the run around telling me that theres no opening anywhere or jobs

Im in a rebulid stage in my life and im so very blessed that even though i have drop the ball on my cell phone thy have very under standable. And still working with me on getting employment. Ive made it a point to check in daily the try to start be able develop new habits again if getting up early checking in better myself as a person and theyve been there and even though Im still on I still havent started work yet theyve been there for me and they dont even know it theyve been a good positive part of my life and the day I get to go clock in for the first time itll be totally grateful and appreciative and blessed I recommend balance Staffing

A very rude, crude, company that practices horrible work ethics! Please read all of these reviews because they are all true! This company is soo horrible.personally I only worked 4 days with in a month and I was a great employee who didnt get paid on time or get any response. Plus was put through the most unfair working conditions I have ever been part of! I am more better off without them. But no one else should go through a experience like how I was exposed. Thank you.

These people are some unprofessional. I was trying to reach a man named Rick who came to Delta College for a job fair yesterday and these people sent me to the voicemail. A woman had put me on hold for 10 minutes. I dont understand why a temp agency dont answer their phone. The last temp agency I work for ALWAYS answer their phone! Dont even waste your time calling up Balance Staffing

It is the worse place ever!! I would tell anyone never to go there. They take all your information and waste your time and dont give you a job. I truly think they are a scam. I took my brother sister and cousin and myself there and non of us got a job.. And my cousin has a master degree in science . What a shame.

Waste of time. They spend more time posting job fairs and open positions, that they never even fill. Youll wait hours, and meet with a recruiter, just to be told "Ill keep in contact with you".. which they never do. They must get paid off how much information they can collect and sell.

Worse temp agency ever! Dont waste your time! Interview was more like a interrogation and michelle is a terrible condescending jerk!! Oh and linda made appointments with me and my sister and didnt even bother with being there or letting me know she wasnt in.

Dont waste your time going here. It isnt worth it. They interview you and never call you back. They are So unprofessional !! No wonder they got sued. Stupid ass ! Worst agency place EVER!!!! I would put a no star but it wont let me post this!!! Dont go here.

Balance does a great job placing people at companies that are a good fit for them. They let people know exactly what to expect before they go in for their first day and even meet employees at the job site on their first day.
