I went in today to get papers to obtain a military flag in honor of my Dad. I was told that they dont have anything like that and I should go online to get any papers. I went to the website, printed the proper form-21-2008, and filled it out. I took the form, my Dads death certificate, his military discharge paper-form 214, a letter from the crematory stating that his ashes are released to meand thus the PADD, a letter from my Dads lawyers stating that I am executor and next of kin. From all I had read and been told, this was all I needed to obtain his flag. Well, they told they couldnt give it to me. "We arent supposed to just give out flags to the general public" is what she said. I told her that I had all the proper forms and I wasnt the "general public" just walking in trying to "take it" I told her that "The Veterans Affairs burial flag, obtained from the U.S. Post Office is necessary for all committal services performed aboard Naval surface vessels". She told me to go talk to the people at the Chamber of Commerce. Say What???? It was hard enough to take this step towards closure and you people are apparently among those wanting to legalize pot cause your brains are fried. If all you need are some stamps then these people are great otherwise, go see the people at the Chamber of Commerce,lol.

I am here 10 minutes before they close, customers in front of me finish and the clerk keeps up conversation about their relatives and then promptly closes up the counter gate at 4:31pm. All I needed was to put postage on a damn flare rate! I have cash in hand! WTF!?! Your job is too much you gotta avoid it at all costs???? This is why our country is such a shameful place!!! Ups here I come!

Im paying PREMIUM $ FOR PRIORITY MAIL and your clerk cant give me 2 10" pieces of tape to seal my Box?? Screw you guys..Im taking it to UPS and i dont care if its $10 more. Your service is terrible!!
