BE PREPARED TO HAVE AN RENTAL INCREASE EVERY YEAR / 6MONTHS! My experience with A-1 Self Storage hasnt been a great one. MY ONLY issue is with billing. My spaces have been great, everything is clean, but when it comes down to it. Its all about money. I was overpaying for a space in Redondo, thus I came to A-1 Self Storage. Since I have been there, I have had a raise in monthly rent, every year! Now I am paying $24 dollars MORE, then I was originally paying when I moved my storage here in the first place. This company is all about your money. I PROMISE YOU, after your first year you will see nothing but rate increases. After my 2nd Rate Increase I complained and was told on the phone that there would not be another rate increase on my unit for years. I was actually told that. 3 months later I got a rate increase. I called to reference my conversation about NO MORE INCREASES and they had no idea what I was talking about. Like I made it all up in my head. I am going to take my buiz elsewhere as soon as the next increase hits. My space is small enough its no big deal. I really feel sorry for people with big spaces that really cant move. Your going to get screwed here but maybe its like this with all rental spots. Paying this much money for my little box is absolutely RIDICULOUS! The A-1 I go to is in Torrance on Earl. Take your business elsewhere! Im so glad the company asked me to leave a review. People need to know what will happen upon becoming a customer here. Again... Everything else is great, except for getting wallet raped every month. If your a fan of that, come on down!

This is a wonderful facility. Its clean, well lit, and safe. As a woman, it is important to feel safe and knowing that security cameras are always running and the place is very bright and airy is important to me. Paul was super helpful in getting me set up. I was so amazed at how well he knows each of his customers. While I was filling out my paperwork, several other customers came in. He knew their names and what they needed without ever looking them up in the computer. It seems evident that he cares about his customers and his facility. I shopped around before deciding on A-1. Although there may be a couple less expensive units-I felt very uncomfortable in those facilities (dark, unclean, etc.). A-1 is the best bang for your buck. Nicest facility for the fairest prices.

Im currently using A-1 for some temporary storage as I sell one home and move into another. The escrows didnt line up so I have my stuff in storage until I can move it to my new house. The sign up process was super easy, and the gal at the front desk helped me figure out how much space Id need. She also gave my 4 year old daughter a pencil and paper to draw on while I did paperwork. I dont expect service like that anywhere, much less at a self storage place. Cant beat that! The unit is clean and secure, and the elevator and hallways are always clean and well maintained.

Very friendly staff, helpful and accommodating! Pros: Gerrod (I think is the spelling) works the desk, and is great. It was a convenient location for me, pretty easy to get to; elevator and carts for you to use to get things up and down. Also very clean. Cons: Limited hours, a little pricey (probably not for this area, but Im not from here); thats about all I can think of for cons. I would definitely use this place again if I need storage.

I have been using A1 Self Storage for quite some time now. The facility is always clean and very secure. Letty the manager is very friendly and helpful. I recently needed a second space for more of my stuff and Letty made the process very easy. She recommended a size that worked out perfectly. I am absolutely happy with this place and have recommended a few friends. If you need storage, A1 is the place to go!

Very easy to set up a storage unit and the special 50% off the first month was great. Secure and temperature controlled facility that was always clean. They also have extra large dollies on site to help move items in and out of your personal units. One last feature, they offer month to month options, which is very convenient if you arent sure how long you need the storage commitment. Overall great experience.

I have been renting a storage unit here for years and have never had any problems....the lot is always nice n clean the staff is very friendly n helpful n prompt when u need anything lately I have been having problems with the kiosk to pay my bill..technology just doesnt like me...but the customer service rep Ashley is always awesome n she never minds what ever issue I bring her way...Thankyou
