So, Ive heard alot about this restaurant and was eagerly anticipating its opening. I was surprised to see "a not so crowded" place as is the case when a new restaurant opens in the area. I had anticipated that a long line of customers would be out the door and into the parking but was amazed to see only a few people inside. There was more cars going through their drive-thru than inside the restaurant. This restaurant is located right in the same parking lot as the "Texas Roadhouse " restaurant which has an established regular clientele. Honestly, I was surprised to see more people at Texas Roadhouse than at the opening of this new place! Walking inside this "new restaurant" I could see the numerous quarter chickens on the grill and the smell of other ingredients that permiates the air. I was surprised that my wait in line moved along fairly quickly and placed my order of grilled chicken with a side of rice and a double chicken salad. After about a 10 minute wait I received my order which on first appearance didnt give you that "wow factor." In my humble opinion, "it didnt convey that "this looks yummy feeling." I cut into my chicken and discover that its on the "dry side!?" You would think that a place that prides itself on "chicken," that they would know how to make a juicy chicken!? "Ive had better chicken at Hometown Buffet (now closed)..." I then go onto tasting my Spanish Rice, which has no flavor and the rice is undercooked! At this point Im thinking wow, this isnt good especially for this established restaurant, which I have tried in the past with nothing but good things to say. My "double chicken salad" was nowhere what was advertised and it said it came with Avocado but none was located in my order! To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. This establishment, which opened its first restaurant in Los Angeles in 1980 grew in popularity over the past 3 decades and is supposed to specialize in nothing but chicken but I was very disappointed on this occasion. "I pull no punches and try to provide an honest experience everytime I write a review."

I love El Pollo Loco, but for some reason the Naglee Rd. Tracy Ca. the food is horrible!! They put very little filling in the taco salads and theit cilantro dressing has to much cilantro. I thought I would give it a try again thinking maybe it was a bad day for them but NOPE! It was still horrible!! The taco salad was only 1/2 full compared to other locations where its completely full sometimes overloaded. And the guacamole was brown and tasted like lemons like they tried to prevent it from turning brown, it was not fresh at all!!!!! I think Im done with this location. Dont get me wrong the workers are great its just the food is horrible

El Pollo Loco has opened and EVERYONE in Tracy is out to try it! The chicken here, just like other locations, is moist and marinated well. Not a fan of the rice, though. I tried the chicken mango tostada, and it was delicious. The mango salsa went well with the smoky black beans, and there were lots of avocado. The cilantro sauce was good too, and I didnt need a lot of it. The wheat tortilla was toasted well, and surprisingly flavorful. I started using it to scoop out the salad near the end. This place is going to be busy for awhile, but if youre nearby and want really good chicken, this is the place to go.

This place doesnt pay attention to cleanliness, dirty bathroom, dirty tables, dirty floors, its Sunday night 8 pm, also no parking due to Texas house bar next door costumers take the whole parking, half of it supposed to be for el pollo loco but they dont care I guess, only 2 costumers here and nowhere to park, Im guessing no manager on duty and young underpaid kids serving so do the numbers. Please correct those issues Im used to the one on my neighborhood good eatery love el pollo loco just not this one.

El Pollo Locco (Crazy Chicken) is a crazy place in itslef, the quality is very inconsistent like the name suggests. The prices are in betweena true fast food and a dine in experience leaning more towards the latter. The chicken is not that great though they look amazing getting cooked. The burritos has abslutely no taste like super bland. But always a nice place to grab a qucik bite if you are in a hurry

i had a job here and i didnt even get paid which is illegal and stupid. the hiring manager maria is a dumb woman who cant do her job right. she doesnt know how to communicate with people, i called to know my schedule and she said to come in for a interview and i worked for a day already so i dont know what her problem was. also i bet their food tastes like caca. i didnt even get a break working.

I used to eat at the Manteca outlet when ever I was in the area. So I was eager to try our new Tracy outlet. I was very disappointed. El Pollo seems to have adopted the pigeon size chickens that ruined KFC. Dear Corporate...are your profits so poor you have the cheat your customers with these pathetic mini chickens. NO sale see ya later.

This place is a hit and miss. I love El Pollo Loco but its not consistent. Sometimes you get this delicious and juicy chicken and other times its dry, old and tastes like jerky. In my opinion its a management issue lacking communication and authority with staff. Other than that, hope you get there on a fresh day.

Ate here 1.7.17..I guess I came thru the drive thru on a good night because my Ckn Avocado burrito & cup of Ckn Tortilla Soup was wonderful! Very tasty thats for sure! The only thing I noticed was that there was no tortilla pieces in the soup but Im not complaining because it was so going as is. Ill be back!

Got there 20 mins before closing. Staff was friendly, upbeat and welcoming. Nothing but professional considering we left 2 mins before closing. I love that! I never like feeling my purchase is an inconvenience to their night. Food was great, salsa bar was full. No hints of rushing us. They are awesome!

Normally good food, but this time it was awful. But telling me to park out front when theres no parking to wait for my food is pretty counter intuitive to a drive thru. And I have no problem with waiting at all. Just dont waste your time with their drive thru.
