Great rates, but God forbid you actually ever have to call them. We had a huge issue with a water leak in our kitchen that evolved into a mold issue. This is our first home and first time learning about how insurance companies really work....or dont work for that matter. We also learned that you usually dont catch issues on the first, second or even third walk through on a home and not until youve lived in the house for a while do issues start to reveal themselves. So an adjuster from AAA came to our house and basically told us they would not cover the damage because the damage wasnt "instant or catastrophic in nature". He stated that the damage was caused by no less than two weeks worth of leaking and it was more our fault for not catching it sooner. He also informed us to call AAA immediately whenever we saw an issue. Even if its a small one. That way its on the books that we reported it and if it were to evolve or lead into a larger issue, they would cover it. Not true. We called them out three more times in that first year for other issues. None of them related, but we wanted it on the books. Not once did AAA ever have to pay anything to fix any damage on our behalf. Fast forward to the end of our first year and our rate gets hiked up. We called AAA and asked why our rate was going up so much. They stated it was due to the 4 claims that we filed. I stated that we never filed any claims for damages. We only reported issues per the advice of the first adjuster that visited us. We were then informed that reports are treated and filed the same as claims and have the same effect on rates even if no money is ever paid out to fix anything. That sounds like a horrible business policy, in my opinion. This prompted us to look for a cheaper rate elsewhere, which we were able to find. Fast forward another year and we started shopping around for rates and figured "what the heck, lets call AAA and see what they can offer us." We gave them all of our info and even informed them that we were returning customers. They brought up our account and quoted us a great rate which motivated us to take the offer. So we drive to the Upland office from Rancho Cucamonga (mainly because we sat on hold for 25 minutes with the office in Rancho Cucamonga) and sat with the same young man who gave us the quote. Once there, the tone started to change and we were being told that we were not insurable due to the fact that we had filed four claims when we were previously customers. This mess again. We explained the situation and that AAA never paid a dime to fix anything, unless you count all four adjusters who were paid to drive to our house so they could tell us they wouldnt cover anything. We petitioned for an exception to the underwriters. We were told by the young man that we would be contacted within 24 hours. Well, after 72 hours and leaving 2 voicemails, he never called back. We asked to speak to the manager and she apologized for the lack of correspondence on part of the other agent and that she would try to help us. We provided her with a letter of explanation as well as contractor receipts showing that all issues that were reported were already fixed and paid for out of our own pockets. This did nothing and we were still denied. It truly is disheartening to be treated this way by a company that spends so much money in advertising where they try and portray an image of being fair and caring. Maybe Im naive on how this is all supposed to work, but had we not been advised by that first adjuster to call and report all issues immediately, this may not have happened. And I dont see how reporting an issue equates to a full claim where thousands of dollars are paid to fix something. And it doesnt make sense to me that they were willing to insure a home that was bank owned and empty for months, but they wont insure a home thats been lived in four the past three and a half years and has had nearly $40,000 in work done. I expected better from this company. But maybe thats my fault for doing so.

normally its very easy or simple coming in here and getting something done. One lady who i think worked at one of the small cubicle counter desks to the right when you walk in, was hovering around the receptionist desk as i came in a few minutes before close. She made some slick comment to me about my smokey odor. i was sort of amused, annoyed and offended all in one that she had the audacity to make a snarky comment like that so i just walked out rather serious. Ill make sure our needs will be handled at the Haven office from now on, somewhere where our patronage can be better appreciated

Its convenient not having to go to the DMV. To be able to literally pay your insurance, membership, registration and book a Vacation all in the same place, is awesome. Plus the ladies are super friendly there.
