Nowadays, this country seems to be primarily driven by people saying me, me, me, and/or $, $, $. Of course, there are some exceptions, for sure, people at Precision Import Auto Repairs are one of those. They step into customers shoes first. Even my very first visit, they treated me like their family and informed me to arrive at a rational decision. When purchased my BMW five months ago, I knew the clutch was almost over yet had no idea where to go. After extensive web search, I found Precision Import. They returned my email quickly for a quote. It was important for me because I wanted to see everything in writing. Most other shops did not even bother answering my request at all. Their quote for my clutch work was very competitive for a repair shop specialized in import vehicles. Other shops around here did not even match the quote. Nevertheless, quality of work at Precision Import was second to none. Since I dropped off my car for the clutch work on Saturday, I thought I would not see my car until Monday. The reality was that I received my car on the same Saturday. Such a pleasant surprise! On top of that, Precision Import opens Saturdays so that it is very easy for me to schedule an appointment. This is another good example of their customer focus. Other shops normally run their business between Monday and Friday only. Couldnt be happier.

Upon my purchase of a 1962 Series IIA Landrover, which was not in running condition, I asked Auto of California to pick up the vehicle and see if they could get it running. The owner of Precision Import Auto Repair picked up the vehicle and trailered it to his auto repair center in less than two days, PIAR had my classic landrover running. Realizing the potential of this classic vehicle, PIAR team of professional mechanics formulated a strategy whereby several major improvements to the landrover were possible and affordable for me. OIAR spent an untold amount of time (and to no expense to me) researching and acquiring the miscellaneous parts which were not really available for the classic. Today, the 1962 Series IIA Landrover is a real “eye-catcher” and a treat to take for e evening cruises. The professional team at Precision Import Auto Repair of California are “tops” in my book.

Terrible service on my BMW X5. AC was not blowing cold, symptoms were just like low Freon. However, they said it needed a compressor. Called 2 days later and said it needed a condenser also. Total bill $1700. Engine cover was all greasy and I had them clean it before I drove home and it was not getting cold at all. Returned it and they kept it for several days. Went to pick it up and it was blowing cold. However as I was about to drive away, I noticed it had 90 miles on the odometer and was almost out of gas. I went back in and asked what was going on. Owner/manager said they had to test drive it. Test drive it, 90 miles, are you kidding????????? He offered me 20 bucks cash out of his pocket and I left in disgust. Makes me wonder, did it need a compressor at all??????

I had a problem with my car and I didn’t know where to go. A friend told me that Precision Import Auto Repair was a good place to take the car, so I had it towed there. Their service writer is excellent. He went over everything really well and explained what was needed for the car. He also told me how much it was going to be. A little later he called and told me that there was one more part that needed to be added, and how much it was. I said to go ahead and do it, and I really appreciated being told about it beforehand. Car’s in excellent working condition now, thanks a ton.

If youre in need of some complex work on a European car Id recommend this place. But the simple stuff like oil changes take a long time to complete. Ive had to wait over an hour when the shop was empty just for an oil change. The other mechanics nearby have the same lifts and get the job done in less than 20 minutes. The labor rate is also quite high. $45 for labor just for an oil change? Thats outrageous. The owner and his son are the bright spot for this shop. Theyre knowledgeable, friendly, and run an honest repair shop.

I have been in the military for 20 years and stationed all over the world and have never had better service anywhere than I had at Precision Import Auto Repair. While I was traveling through California, my Mercedes broke down and I had to be in San Antonio that night or I would be AWOL. The team quickly diagnosed my problem, located the part, fixed my car and I was in San Antonio in record time. I not only recommend Precision Import Auto Repair to everyone in the military but anyone who relies on cars as much as I do.

Ive gone to Precision Import Auto Repair for about seven years now, so its not my first time dealing with this company. i can say theyre very dependable.The whole team, particularly Mano, and mike are excellent people to care of any situation. They are very trustworthy and repair thins until it is finished to perfection. They allow customers to speak out their minds so they can include it into their final evaluation. On top of it all their price are very reasonable.

I have no idea what Madskillz is talking about. I started going here about 2 or 3 years ago after my last mechanic was not performing all of the inspections that he was claiming to do and lead to or family van breaking down severely. We took it to precision and we have never had service at a mechanic like we have had here. I personally drive a 95 Chevy S10 and I have always received a fair price and an honest experience. There is no better place to go than here!

I took my E39 bmw 530i in today to get a new window regulator. After calling about 9 of the supposed better shops, Precision was the most knowledgeable, friendly, and had the best rates. They were quick in servicing my car on the spot getting the parts delivered and installed in a quick amount of time- understood my situation and worked with me on price. I am grateful to have found them and would highly recommend them to any one of my friends!
