Trustworthy Auto Repair Shop. On Feb. 4, 2012, the temperature gauge on our Toyota pickup was running near the red mark too quickly in short driving distance. Before taking it to Car Tech, I called the owner about the problem. He alerted me that there seemed to be a serious problem with the pickup and advised me not to drive it anymore but instead to have it diagnosed and repaired locally. Get this. What great advice to not drive it to his shop that day! Had I not discussed the problem with him, I could have totaled my pickup due to overheating and spent thousands of dollars to replace it. After the pickups thermostat was repaired locally, my husband and I took in our Toyota pickup and Honda Civic the following Friday for major service and brakes work, respectively. Both vehicles were serviced the same day. We noticed a marked difference in the performance of both vehicles. They drove like brand new. We were very satisfied with their work. We even received a phone call from them the next day to follow up on our vehicles. What great service they provided. We highly recommend Car Tech Auto Repair shop to anyone. Their prices are reasonable and their service is exceptional. These folks are honest, sincere and hard working people. We can trust Car Tech with our vehicles.

Brought my 2011 Prius for repair due to the AC on/off intermittently problem today at Car Tech Auto Service. The service was great based on 1/ Great Customer Service: by phone and by person - Friendly, honest, and professional. 2/ Price is just fair: Compared to the other mechanics around the area. 3/ Convenient: location for me to drop off and to pick up while working at Irvine - Car tech also offers a countersy pick up/drop off if I werent be available to get one 4/ Professional and caring about my car: They found the Freon in the AC system was overfilled and AC line was contaminated. Car Tech Tech evacuated and refilled the Freon twice to clean up the AC system. 5/ The time frame was great: I got back my car as promised Very satisfaction

This is the ONLY place you should take your vehicle(s) for service or repair! Im always a little apprehensive when taking my vehicles in for service, not knowing how truthful and honest they may be (often leading to more costly repairs than necessary). However, my experience with Car Tech is beyond compare, and often the service or repair is done the same day. These guys charge a fair and competitive price for the repairs necessary, and are also open on Sat., which is a major convenience. Whether its my large 2003 Excursion V-10 Limited or my 2010 Lincoln MKZ, I know it will be repaired properly, quickly, and I wont get ripped off. I couldnt recommend them any higher, unless there was a choice for 6 stars!

I loved my whole experience here. Quality service. Had my differential pinion seal replaced, and that is as difficult as it sounds. No problems since the repair after two months Good price. I shopped the work and these guys gave a very competitive quote. Honest service. I do a lot of my own car service and am more knowledgeable than most when ir comes to cars. These guys do it right. Use the right parts from the right places and dont BS. And extremely friendly service. Just speaking with techs over the phone felt like spesking to a old friend.

Ive been coming here ever since the new management, and I have not been dissapointed since. The owner once came out and explained to me in plain english, not with "car techician" terms what was wrong with my car. For the first time EVER, I understood what had to be done and felt like my car was in good hands. Plus!! They have computers for you to browse the internet on while youre waiting or they can shuttle you to where you need to be. I dread the oil-change/car fixup routine so much less now.

I went in for brakes and David told me I needed to also buy rotors for double the price. My car is relatively new and Im certain the rotors were no where near failing. Im kicking myself for not having stood up to him. I feel cheated. There are honest mechanics out there, Car tech Auto Service is not one of them.
