***Dont trust any review before July 1st as it was not open until then*** Expect to be charged the 39.99 yearly fee on your 2nd or 3rd month of membership. But technically it doesnt count as a "sign up" fee so its not false advertising.Yes, you only pay the $10/$20 on sign up as advertised, but just know the yearly fee comes in two months later. ************************************************************************** Overall the gym is nice, its new so it still has the plastic smell in the gym, and everything looks good. Lots of places to do deadlifts/squats which is usually a problem with small gyms. It might get crowded in the future since the $10 per month fee will be a loss leader to get lots of ppl to join but for now its fine. Cons: Only two showers in the Mens Locker room if youre into showering the gym. No barbell clips. Parking. Pros: New equipment (obviously) Bumper plates for deadlifts/Clean&Jerks so it makes up for the "No barbel clips" Punching bags (which Ive never seen at any of the multiple gyms Ive been to, except at private gyms) Monkey bars (again something Ive never seen before) ~8 Stair machines 2 Tanning booths Massage table Staff seems friendly AC in the locker rooms Rotating hooks inside the lockers to hang you shirts Access to some of the most convenient Metro Buses on Van Nuys Blvd Open 24 hours So as of now, I like it. Just expect the yearly fee and youll be fine.

Clearly all of the previous reviews are from staff or were bought since the gym wasnt even open 1+ weeks ago. I toured this gym today since its the FIRST day being open and let me tell you; it is VERY small. I can only imagine how crowded it will get during peak hours. There is also ZERO parking so you will have to park on the street or backroads behind the gym. $10 is pretty attractive, but youre going to get a mass amount of people, since it is so affordable, crammed into a small space. I can just imagine their 4.4 star rating drop once ACTUAL guests start to review the place. They get two starts for the friendly staff and clean equipment.

I signed up 2 months ago and was told the gym would be opening on May 27th, then on May 29th! Here it is June 12th, and no word as to when the location is opening. Very disgruntled and disappointed in all the false promises Ive received since signing up. Now Im getting texts and phone calls, asking me to upgrade to a service, Ive already paid for.....For a gym I cant use...How Ironic!!!

This gym is way too small to comfortably work out. Its overcrowded. I like to do the group fitness classes but their group fitness class is way too small. Theres hardly any room to move around. Not to mention, this gym is in a horrible area and theres no parking. I moved from the Crunch gym in Lakewood but I will have to switch to another gym because this crunch gym is horrible.

I cant wait I been waiting to long a life changer Ive came from being homeless and sleeping on the Side of the building and not being allowed around to now a official non homeless resident of VAN NUYS within walking distance of the CRUNCH GYM that I am now a member of WOW and now time for my body transformation it only gets better THANKS CRUNCH

Its very amazing how the employees treat the members like friends and right at home and comfortable. The atmosphere to keep us motivated to push it durning our workouts. I just like this place a lot and especially because its close by and 24 hours its just perfect :)

I love that this gym opened up right around the corner from me! Elizabeth, the morning reception, is the best! My only complaints are that there are no classes before 830a, or after 8pm, and that a few of the machines are not working. Other than that, its great!!

Yes, places like LA Fitness have more capacity and equiptment, better location. But this gym has all that you need, great space, brand new equiptment, 24hrs, the boot camp area is a huge plus for me. And it doesnt get that crowded. Pretty happy.

Well here I am the first day that it was supposedly going to open and guess what its still closed. Very irresponsible and its just the beginning. Hopefully my review will change with in time....

Crunch has the best staff members. They are all polite and professional. The facilities are clean and inviting. They dont judge they assist you in reaching your goals!!! Go Crunch!!!!!

How can people be rating this gym? Its not even up and ready till another month or two?? The outside of it looks like trash just like the streets a junky clean it up already.

Machines have broke down and the water systems don’t even work! How does everything break at a brand new gym but overall it’s clean and staff is friendly.

Great gym, brand new equipment, open 24hrs. Went peak time and didn’t have to wait for equipment. Friendly service. Everything LA fitness nearby wasn’t!

This gym is inexpensive for people that are on a budget. Its a nice and clean gym. The machines work and I have no complains so far.
