This place is terrible if you have a normal 3 year old. From the time my child was about 2 years 8 months old, he was continually pressured about being potty trained. He has just turned 3 now and averages about one accident a day. He even had several days where he had no accidents at all. However, this was not sufficient and the center was insisting that he have no accidents and that he always verbalize when he needed to use the potty (instead of asking him if he needed to go). They refused to recognize that he is not very verbal yet and had difficulty requesting to use the potty. I even spoke to my pediatrician about this and he assured me that there is nothing wrong with my son and that he was "amazed" at the pressure the center was puting on him. If you want your child in a caring and nurturing environment, this is not the place for you.

This was a great preschool for my daughter. So great that her kindergarten teachers just asked me if she had gone to kindergarten for a year already, shes so academically advanced compared to the other kids. the care and love from the teachers was wonderful and I couldnt believe I found a school where the teachers are all required to have college degrees in related fields--these arent people who just needed a job and were marginally qualified to be around kids, these are people whose passion is teaching children--you can tell by the smiling attitudes from all of them, every day. The LAUP program in the final year is particularly outstanding. We also met tons of great friends here, lots of like-minded parents who are passionate and devoted to giving their kids a great experience in preschool. I cant recommend this school enough.

This place is fantastic for infants. Our son was here until he was almost three. Unfortunately, once you get into the toddler room, there are 18 months old kids mixed with three year olds. The center will not let kids into the preschool room until they are potty trained, which leads to kids in the toddler room who actually are too old for it. They also sent our son home several times for normal toddler behaviors, like hitting. Because we had so many problems with the toddler room, we had to change daycares, which was heartbreaking, as my son was quite attached to his teachers there. So this place was a great fit for us when he was young, and unfortunately we found some of their policies were not right for us later.

I used to think this was a great place at the beginning when Cyndee the owner recently took over it. I noticed that most of the teachers have kids and they bring them to work with them, I saw how one of the teachers was taking care of her OWN kid, she could care less what happened to the rest. The rest of the kids take care of themselves, look out for themselves, the teacher was so busy watching her kid, while the rest were just ignored. I felt sorry for all of those kids, I had to take my kid out of there soon and I did. Anyone would love to take their kids to work with them too, but its work. I dont agree with this procedure, it should be stopped.

This Child Care Center is great!!! As a parent, I was looking for a home away from home, where my child would feel comfortable and have a great early educational experience. The teachers are well educated, friendly, loving and professional. My child assisted the LAUP program and the before and After care. Ms. Tanya and Ms. Lisset are WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! And if you have any questions Ms. Karla (supervisor) will help you. My boy learned so much from the LAUP program, he is now advanced in a charter school. I would reccomend this school to anyone who is looking for a place where their child will be safe and loved!

My daughter has been at this center since she was an infant, and is now in the LAUP preschool room. This is THE BEST daycare center! Clean, well-maintained, with fabulous indoor and outdoor areas. Plus, EXCELLENT teachers and staff. Dont be thrown by the busy Van Nuys courthouse location or small parking lot, you wont regret bringing your little ones here. People have transferred here from other well-known daycares in Studio City and Sherman Oaks, and they have nothing but great things to say about our little gem, VNCCDC.
