My wife and I are first time parents, and before I express how thankful we are that our child is attending Halsey Schoo, let me start by explaining what we went through in making our decision. As new parents, it was extremely difficult coming to grips with the idea of someone else caring for you infant other than you, your spouse, or someone of close relationship. We thought, "How could you trust someone whom you do not know?" Halsey Schools and those that respresent Halsey Schools, aka the teachers and staff, have been very supportive and caring for me, my wife and our child. They have been active in building a relationship with all three of us by talking often, sharing things that are happening on a daily basis, and always staying on top of things. In addition, they always express a great spirit around all the kids and parents. It does take time as a new parent to trust others, but Halsey Schools and the teachers there make that adjustment almost none existent. They have just been awesome and my wife and I would recommend Halsey Schools to anyone, especially first time parents.

Halseys Schools is a great place; the teachers are so loving and nurturing. My favorite things about it are all the activities my daughter is exposed to like: science, cooking, all kinds of art projects, their day is filled with learning and exploring. The administration is well organized, available, responsive and supportive when any question has come up. Its been a great place for my daughter to shine and to blossom. Another great thing is they are open 6:30-6:30, which is unique, and has been a blessing a time or two when we were stuck in traffic, or had to get to work early for something. The other fun things they do are celebrate reading, have silly days like wear every color Of the rainbow, they celebrate holidays and always invite the parents to visit anytime of day. Last great thing is the teachers have a staff development monthly on a different topic related to child development. Its been an amazing experience for our family and we hope it is for yours too.

I was excited with the good reviews that I heard about this school. But my friend had asked me to talk to them once before deciding as I am Hispanic. I didnt understand then! Sorry to say, but I did talk with someone by name Jennifer & I was not impressed. In fact on learning that my 3 year olds background is Hispanic, her tone changed & she started to speak over me. In a short talk, she humiliated me even though I told her my child will not need any special treatment. If such is the attitude, I cant trust my little one at this school. If you are a Hispanic, just forget about this place & find a good school somewhere else. These people seem to be a arrogant bunch.. I now believe the good reviews are kinda fake here!

I started Halsey Schools when I was a baby in 2000 and I graduated from the Busy Bee class in 2005. I loved it there. I looked forward to going everyday and missed it on the weekends. The teachers were all so nice and I still visit them even though Im in middle school now. I think Halsey is great and that your kids will love it as much as I did. I learned a lot there and I think I owe my success in elementary and middle school to Halsey. I really love to learn. I take all honors classes. Im a member of the National Junior Honor Society. I even received an award and letter from President Obama for my academic achievement. I also won the presidents fitness challenge. Someday Ill send my kids to Halsey.

We feel so lucky to have Halsey Schools in our neighborhood. Our son recently transitioned from the toddler center to the preschool- a transition they made easily for him and he loves it! The creative, learning activities he does there are more than I could offer at home. The teachers are caring, nurturing and really teach him. His language also exploded when he started attending- we couldnt be happier!
