I have been a customer for a couple years but I will no longer be patronizing Big Kahuna Car Wash IN AURORA, COLORADO. Issues: - Car wash does not work properly - Unprofessional employees - Telephone number is disconnected - Hours of business are not as posted and unpredictable - Likely violating the ADA by blocking their only handicapped parking spot AND allowing an employee to park his car in the marked handicapped spot without identification This is the second visit in a row that my car didnt get washed. I dont mean that the wash did a poor job. I mean that the wash cycle only partially ran. Each time this has happened my car is left covered in dry soap and I end up having to go to another car wash. There was an employee in the car wash tunnel today and he saw the wash wasnt working properly but apparently he didnt care. By the time my car was out of the wash the two employees on staff were gone. The office was closed, the wash tunnel was closed, I tried calling their telephone number but it has been disconnected, and I was literally stuck in a parking lot traffic jam when trying to leave. Their employees put cones up to block anyone using the four parking spots nearest to their office (where employees park). Also, I assume the cones (which are usually there) are an ADA violation as they are blocking access to the only marked handicapped parking spot on the property and using it as employee parking. When I left today to go to another car wash my destination had me perform a U-turn, so I drove by Big Kahuna car wash again. Now, one of the employees was sitting with his car running parked in front of the cones. It was the same car that was in the inaccessible handicapped spot. I drove back into the lot, parked in front of him, and walked up to his car. It was the employee that was in the tunnel when my car went thru and was "unwashed". He very reluctantly opened his car window and I asked if he was an employee. He mumbled, "Uh, yeah, you can go to the office." I asked, "Is there someone there now? There wasnt five minutes ago." He said, "Yes", put up his window, and drove off the property. I walked over to the office and it was as abandoned as it was before. While walking back to my car I had multiple people approach me to ask me if I worked there. I was left frustrated, out the money I spent on the car wash, and having to spend more money to go to another car wash to get the dry soap off.

not only was the wash itself outstanding, but so was the service i received from the staff. my car always comes out looking "straight off the lot" after a visit to this fantastic car wash. be sure to enter through the proper lanes upon entering the car wash, they can get slightly confusing, but it is made up for by the great quality you will receive on your wash. And i havent even mentioned how great the free vacuum service is when you purchase a wash. not only are there plenty of vacuum stations, but you can use it as long as you need to. i know that is one of my issues at other car washes. you can take our time and ensure that your car is spotless both inside and out. i highly recommend this wash anyone who loves their vehicle!

I have been coming here for years and I absolutely love this place and the workers! I suspect the other bad reviews are for a different location, perhaps Plano, TX: Big Kahuna Car Wash. This place is always open as advertised, the employees are super friendly and do everything that they can to help. They work harder than any other car wash Ive ever used! The manager is a real sweetheart. Also, the car wash it self is awesome! It gets it much cleaner than I could at home and way cheaper than a full service outfit. The equipment is aging some, but does the job very well. My only criticism at all that I can find is that they do not sell items for the interior. IGNORE THESE OTHER FALSE REVIEWS OF THIS WONDERFULLY RUN PLACE!

Not open the hours they say they are which is 9 to 6 daily according to the building by 11 to 2 Monday though friday according to Google (how a car wash makes enough money to pay its costs not being open on weekends is beyond me) also there are three gas stations with cheaper car washes less than a mile from here ones at Chambers and Evans one at Illiff and Sable and one at Illiff and Mexico

I like this place but they are not open according to the hours on the website. Today is 50 degrees it is 12 oclock and they are not open. No signs of any closings anywhere or change of hours anywhere. It would be nice to have an open or closed sign on the property so we do not waste our time going specifically to get our car washed when it is closed like today!

I am only in my fifties so I know and use computers on a daily basis. Even still, I find touchscreen monitors confusing. The manager came out and patiently helped navigate through the selections and showed me what to know next time if I am able to remember. Because of this you have a new customer with me.

The machines themselves are okay. The dryer sucks, youll have to dry your vehicle yourself. The people that run this place are horrible! They open late and close early! Very unprofessional establishment. It has potential but not with these clowns working here. Unless its an emergency, go somewhere else.

Love this place. The owner is always helpful, the automated wash is fun with all the pretty colors of soap! It smells like bubblegum in a good way! My car always looks nice after taking it here. And their machine accepts money and credit cards so its easy to just pay for what you want and need.

Didnt rinse or dry my car fully. There was still soap suds and water just about everywhere on a Mazda 3, which isnt oddly shaped or anything. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my car was clean for the most part, and since its Colorado and not very humid, everything dried without too many issues.

Cheap and simple little wash thats perfect for us old farts! Two attendants were in the washer area that smiled and seemed friendly, we didnt need to interact with them since its pretty much a self-serve operation. We will be back for some more washes in the future. Thanks folks.

When we pulled up the machine to pick your car wash and pay had to be serviced and the manager was outside fixing it and he was so friendly and nice. We love coming here the customer service is amazing and the quality of the car wash is was we expect, its fun and convenient.

Nicest people around. The manager or owner, not sure which helped prep our work vehicles so the wash and brushes could compliment their system. Wash did a good job, but they should sell wipes or towels in a vending machine outside for interior. Well definitely be back again!

Best car wash in Aurora. I live in denver but come out to Aurora to see family. I like the people that work there and the car always looks nice when out of wash area! I am an older person so I apriciate the help from the friendly employees.
