Heather and her team at Calluna Events are magicians and I simply could not recommend them more highly. Heather helped plan my wedding in the summer of 2010 and I will forever sing her praises! Upon first meeting Heather, I knew she was the right choice. She is extremely professional but also extremely personable. She is full of class and up to speed on all the latest trends but also well attuned to even the most traditional styles. One of the greatest aspects about working with Heather is that she is happy to give as many ideas as you like, or allow you to take the reigns and just be there to help glue it all together. Heather’s wonderful personality shines through her work – it is clear that she loves what she does which goes a long way in the feelings she gives her clients. Every time Heather and I met or spoke, she seemed just as excited as I was about the planning details. That same personality carries over to her working relationships as well. Every vendor that Heather recommended clearly loved working with her. In fact, upon the first phone call to them, they would all reply with “We love working with Heather!”. Not only are the vendors she works with at the very top of their field, but they are all so easy to work with. Each one understood what I was going for and transformed their specialty, whether it was hair, make up, or decor, into my dream. Not that all weddings go off without a hitch! My wedding was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and it was the rainiest weekend of the summer! However, I didn’t worry about a single thing. Heather kept in touch with me all morning and calmly laid out a back up plan. She took care of everything, rearranged the lay out, made sure the vendors were on top of the change and I never had an ounce of stress. She even brought parasols for outdoor photos! The whole team worked together and the ceremony they created inside was just as pretty, if not prettier, than it would have been outside. Heather is so calm and reassuring and that is such an important thing to have around you when your emotions are boiling over. Throughout the planning process, Heather was always available for my numerous, and often repetitive, questions. She always responded promptly and in detail so I was assured I was on the right track. My wedding was the most amazing day of my life - it was beautiful, just what I wanted and the only emotions I felt were love and happiness – not even a bit of stress! Even with the rain, the event was perfection – everything flowed perfectly - and I honestly can say that is all because of Heather. I am forever grateful! THANK YOU HEATHER AND CALLUNA EVENTS!!!!!!

Im a cinematographer with K Hodge Films. Ive had the opportunity to work with Heather and her staff a number of times since 2011. From a vendors perspective, things couldnt be run smoother. Everyone is well informed of everything going on and any issues or bumps in the road that come up are dealt with in a professional and respectful manner. My very first time working with Heather was for a wedding that ended up taking place less than 24 hours after my first born daughter came into this world. I was ecstatic and happy and also very much not wanting to leave my wife and newborn baby girl in the hospital. I called Heather and explained the situation and she was incredibly calm with me. This couldve gone any number of ways... especially a private phone conversation happening behind the scenes. She could have yelled, she could have cursed at me, she could have done any number of things... but Heather was as cool as a cucumber and helped figure out the situation. I ended up still shooting the wedding obviously and it ended up being one of our best films from that year. When youre planning a wedding, all of the vendors have to be willing to work together as a team and from what Ive seen, Heather and her team are the glue that keep everyone working together with the common goal of providing amazing service and support to the people who matter the most, the couple.

I have worked with Heather Dwight owner of Calluna events for quite a few years now. Being one of Colorados most successful makeup artists as well as my business partner Bre Ortola owners of Alchemy Mineral Blends, we work with alot of wedding planners. Heather is one of the kindest, sweetest and most amazing people you will ever meet. She is also outstanding at what she does as an event planner. I can remember one of the first weddings I got to work on for one of Heathers brides. Normally there is stress and koas all around me when I am doing a brides makeup. Looking around me wondering, I was confused almost because this wedding was calm, and everyone was actually happy and having a great time instead of the usual mayhem that goes on around the build up to the wedding. I just watch ed in awe as Heather gracefully orchestrated the crowds, the hotel staff, me, the bridal party, you name is she had us all in perfect harmony and I loved the whole experience. She made it what is is suppoesed to be, Special. Not only is Heather one of a kind in what she does and who she is as a personl, she also has another wedding planner Jolene Greenbaum Peterson that works along side of her and is also a gem. We have nothing but positive things to say about all of the talented individuals that make up the team at Calluna Events! Calluna saw something in us as a very young company and took a leap of faith bringing us into some of their events, and we couldnt be more grateful! As film makers, so much of our success in a documentary shoot stems from a lot of organization upfront, a beautiful setting, and authentic emotions. Calluna does such a fantastic job organizing every detail prior to a wedding, that all of the events we have worked with them have flowed seamlessly. This attention to detail blends into creating a stunning setting for each event, backdrops that any hollywood set dresser would be envious to be associated with. And both of those attributes let the couples they work with feel completely relaxed throughout their celebration, which lets them enjoy one anothers company, as well as the company of their friends and family joining them throughout the day...And this lets us grab that key third element of a successful shoot: authentic emotions. We have grown astronomically as a company in such a short period of time, and we owe so much of our success to the excellent and hard work of the planners at Calluna Events!

Growing up you always picture your wedding day as being the best day of your life and you think of where you want it to be, what you’ll be wearing, etc. What you don’t think of is how much work it will be to plan and pull it off! There is so much that goes into a wedding and I had no idea before planning my own. Hiring Calluna Events was the best decision I made when planning our wedding! It was so great to have someone who is so well connected and knows everything there is to know about weddings on our side! Jolene made great recommendations for us and I feel like she really understood what we wanted our special day to be like! I can’t tell you what a relief it is to know that on the day of your wedding everything is being taken care of according to our plan!
