Blusky was called by the HOA staff and after flooding in a condo above me. They made me give a deposit of $250 but they were unable to give me an estimate of the costs, this should have been a warming sign but I knew I had to act quickly to save an expensive wood floor. They performed the work satisfactorily so I asked them to quote me for floor and unit repairs but my problem began when they sent the invoice for the emergency services. The other problem was the quote for restoration services, it was outrageous and about 75% over another contractors bid. The BLUSKY Restoration Contractors invoiced for work not performed and inflated fees but provided no unit cost detail. The bill had twice the equipment fees and billing for anti-microbial agent they never applied. I complained and asked for restatement and BLUSKY sent me a revised bill with other costs such as hourly charges and callout fee inflated compared to industry. The PM stated on 17 July he did raise the service fees after I filed a complaint with the BBB because " he didnt realize it was after hours". Mr. Sarkisian was project manager early on in these efforts and cannot justly claim to raise prices after a complaint to cover for his lost revenue. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Denver and notified the project manager of my issues. I offered to resolve the difference with an immediate payment for what I determined were fair market priced and the manager mumbled it didnt matter because a lien was filed. He then hung up on me. This company is a not one I would choose to work with ever again.

BluSky is doing abatement, restoration and rebuild project for our commercial property. So far, I have been very impressed with everyone I have worked with from BluSky. They are very professional, efficient, courteous, real great communicators and do excellent work! I would strongly recommend BluSky for any restoration projects. I have had used similar services from other contractors when I used to live in Georgia and BluSky is far superior! BluSky billed us for the first portion of work only and was willing to give us extended time in paying the first bill in case the insurance company was not timely with sending out the check. BluSky waited until the abatement work was completely done and we were completely satisfied with the work before billing us and gave us additional 30 says to pay. However, we did get the check from insurance three weeks prior to the bill being due! All this happened because the BluSky estimator was great working with our insurance adjuster for getting everything rolling as soon as possible.

I wouldnt recommend this company.... my complaint is that we had a condo below a condo where there was a water leak... the management company for our building called and had us speak to the restoration company, they painted a picture of disaster - cabinets needed to be removed, drywall pulled and replaced, painting, etc., etc... so we drove 300 miles round trip instantly to check out the damage... and there was barely any water to be found. This was so frustrating. The restoration/remediation world is an interesting one. My suggestion for everyone would be to ask an hourly rate and how long itll take for restoration efforts. Keep in mind that many restoration companies give pretty high kickbacks for referrals, often $500-750 per referral to a plumber or property manager (I know, I used to manage the Arizona Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association)... so if youre going to hire someone, do it directly and write an addendum to the contract that they arent paying referral fees to anyone.

We went with BluSky because they were the preferred contractor for our insurance company. We had a 1,300 foot rental house that had water damage from a broken line to the swamp cooler. The entire ordeal of having Blu Sky do the restoration work lasted six months. Kemper ended up paying us 3 months of rent/utilities as they agreed six months was an unreasonable amount of time for the work needed. I leave you with one question. What would you think of a company brought in to repair damage from a water line leak, but forgets to repair the broken water line?

After doing a large scale job$40,000 for Blu sky over 4 months ago I am still not paid , The response from them is to hang up the phone on you . Do you really want to use a contractor who does not pay their subcontractors? There are many good companies that do pay their contractors go with another, big company big budget big talk NO MONEY! Just a bunch of crooks in new building with a lot of new trucks ! How do you think they pay for that? with the little guys money they dont pay them?

Terrible work, They were recommended through my insurance, They bid a water leak job for about $4500.00. They were never allowed to finish the job because they were not showing up. However billed the insurance over $20 k . After a long drawn out process they ended up with $1400.00 for actual work that they had done. STAY AWAY!
