Lies built on top of lies! The facts are... I was told the work was completed by Peak View workers and I was supporting our local community. Nope my roof was completed by JA Roofing from Denver. I was told I would be notified when the work was going to be completed. Nope 6 weeks later I come home and our wall clock and fire alarms fell off the wall and ceiling from the banging. I was told this was a small job and work should be completed in a day or two. Nope FIVE days to complete the work. I was told our sales rep Austin would be our contact throughout the process. Nope then I was told Joey would be our contact. Nope. Found out both of these workers were subcontracted from out of state and by the time the work was being completed they had left the state of Colorado. Sales rep ordered to much flashing for areas on out roof that the flashing could not be replaced however we were charged for materials we cannot use. The roofers attached our satellite dish back with caulk- a $49.99 charge for Direct TV to come out and fix. After the roof was completed three weeks has passed and I had not heard anything about the gutters. I called and spoke with Ashlyn because Chris the gutter guy was out sick who stated they Peak View crew should be out that following weekend and they were backed up because multiple crews were sick. Nope I called two weeks later and was told by Ashlyn again Chris was out due to being sick and she was sure someone would be out that following weekend. Nope- called again that following Tuesday and finally someone came out however he stated he was pulled from the special projects crew to complete the job. Opinions- I had stressed to Ashlyn that I was concerned the gutter contract did not get to where it needed to be originally because Austin who had our original contact took it with him to Alabama when he left and it took 8 days for him to get it to the Peak View office. The roof looks like crap the singles were laid at a weird angle. It is not a smooth looking roof I can best describe it as choppy. No one from Peak View ever came out to look at progress or to see if we had any questions or concerns. Once the work was completed I received a bill in my e-mail box. Over all Peak View Roofing gives the impression that its customers are not worth their time and effort in insuring things that are said are followed through. Peak View Roofing has made this experience horrible and I cannot believe they are okay with the service they provide. I tried several times to reach the owners however the staff who answer the phones are quick to avoid that. Whenever I insisted to speak to Lisa or Jim they were not available and I could not get a guarantee when I would get a call back.

Worst experience so far....shingles flew off the roof left and right, less than a week after installation. They sent someone out to "inspect" the work done, which they OKed. After that, a wind storm hit, and of course, more flew off. A Peak View employee tried to dismiss my complaint, saying that "everybody" had their shingles flying off in my neighborhood. I didnt see any, especially from any new roofs. My daughter had her roof done a month prior, by a different company and not one shingle came off. Sent me an invoice directly, without furnishing bid to my insurance company. Very poor communication. Did not clean up after themselves. The crew was extremely young, possible minors. Ripped the screen on my patio door and the manager tried to claim, "It was already like that;" which they finally repaired upon my insistence. Changed orders in my contract, charging me more money to keep the same downspouts, rather than the original cheaper bid with new downspouts. Invoiced me extra for the building permit, which was covered in the original bid. Steve Kearns has been the contract manager. After I e-mailed him about the shoddy work and left a review, he repeatedly apologized saying he would take full responsibility for everything, tell Peak View he was at fault, that he would fix the roof and pay for the mistake; to disregard the invoice and that I was only responsible for the deductible, as was stated in my contract. They patched the roof. I paid Steve Kearns 2 cashiers checks, in person; my deductible, and the money from the insurance co, marked "Paid in Full." He accepted. It was then I asked him 3 times, if the deductible was all the money I owed them and if we were done. He said yes, that was correct. Since then, he has contacted me 3 times saying I need to pay my deductible, which I have reminded him I already paid him in person. He is now saying my insurance co owes them more money, which theyre not paying, and that Im now responsible for it. He now says he did not "mean" what he said about paying for the roof, that I took advantage of him and he is putting a lien on my house. The other reviews that claim how outstanding their work is, must have had a good sub-contracted crew; because the crew I got did shoddy work and gave me the run around from the beginning. Either this company is just poorly run and they cant hold their sub-contractors liable, or they really are scam-artists.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had. It has taken over 6 months to have my roof repaired. In November the material was dropped off and left on my roof until I emailed them 2 months later asking when will they finish it. II was told in January that they did not know anything about my roof. My skylights were measured 5 or 6 times and they still were ordered incorrectly. The solution to the wrong size skylights was to "stretch them" to make them fit. However, this could not be done. One employee stated that this project should have been completed months ago. Contractors did not show up when I was told they be at my house however they would show up days later than expected. Once my roof was done I received a call stating that they were done with the project, but they forgot they still had to put my gutters on. After everything was completed I still had nails and roofing paper in my yard and in my trees. I have had to clean up the mess myself. The manager Steve told me that he would make this right after waiting 6 months to have it completed. He still has not made this right and said that it shouldnt have taken this long. Now I am being called daily asking when they will receive the rest of their money after they have already gotten a check for $10,000. Spoke with Steve today asking how I would like for him to make it right, but he had no solution himself. 10 minutes after that call he called back asking about the remaining balance. If it takes a roofing company 6 months to complete a job and never been able to get a hold of them to complete the job in the first place they are certain to call to ask about their money. Never again will I use this company or recommend them to anyone that I know.!!!!!!!!

Our roof is replaced and free of leaks so far, but that is about all I can say about the experience with Peak View Roofing. They are just that, barely adequate. The job began before we agreed on a time. I just got a call at work that they were there and needed to get into our garage. We came home to let them in but they still didnt bother covering inside there. So everything in our garage was covered w roofing debris. They did sweep the middle. The salesman who promised to make sure things were covered wasnt even there. Never got a single follow up asking how it went but did promise to "make it right" when I complained about the sloppy finish work all at the front of the roof. They left construction materials showing, ripped away siding (needed to do the job) but just left it hanging. Came to "fix" it and just slathered brown caulk halfway up the white siding. The manager came after I complained how badly that looked. He promised to come himself to fix it up and make it look decent. He never did. When I followed up he just sent the same guy who then sparsely covered the brown w a layer of white. Didnt do the other finishing work we discussed. I do not recomend this place unless you dont care about what your house looks like and dont mind bad service. We are not picky but expected it to not look worse w a new roof. So disapointed. If you want something done halfway decent....just do it yourself. Update: I recieved a small discount to make up for our time and effort of cleaning the garage and correcting the finishings. Revised my star rating from 2 to 3.
