We chose Aspen Pointe to cater our wedding in December. We saw all of the great reviews and were incredibly optimistic. When the day came, we were really lucky that we work in event management and our friends/guests picked up the slack. First off, the caterers showed up later than promised to our venue and were unprepared. They didnt have tablecloths and were two people short (we were line-item charged for those two people though on our invoice) of what they planned, blaming weather. One of the two who did show up went to WalMart to get some tablecloths while our friends who arrived early set up the tables and centerpieces (we were line-item charged for Aspen Pointe to do table setup and centerpiece setup). When we arrived from the church to our venue, all was set up, but little did we know our friends, not Aspen Pointes staff, did the setup. We found out from the staff at the venue that the caterers showed up late and unprepared only to have to leave to go get supplies. At break-down time, we found out that everyone from Aspen Pointe was already gone and we, the bride and groom, would be breaking down tables and chairs. We paid (itemized on the bill) for them to stay for 5 hours. They were gone within 3 hours. We were still charged the full amount. We got through the wedding just fine, but on account of resiliency. The only plus was that they brought food as promised. The next Monday, we called Aspen Pointe to discuss the services not rendered but charged to us. Silvana was in complete agreement that two servers never showed up. She also admitted that the tablecloths never got delivered to Aspen Pointe from their distributor and she had to go to WalMart to get some that worked last-minute (thanks!). She admitted that our friends were the ones setting up the tables and chairs at the reception as well and thanked us for that. THEN came time for the refund on those services we paid for and they never delivered (totaling over $500). David was the guy walking through the refund with us. He fought every piece tooth and nail, though admitting that they never performed the services charged to us. I was very persistent, though David never once returned a phone call to me in the two weeks of disputing the charges. We think we were INCREDIBLY reasonable only asking for a refund on the services they didnt perform instead of asking for any further discount on everything else so we could at least buy our friends a bottle of wine as a thanks. Still, David was as defensive as he could be about giving the refund and even tried blaming the weather and our friends for Aspen Pointes lack of organization or preparation. In the end, we still got charged $125 more than we should have for a server that never existed. I would highly recommend against dealing with Aspen Pointe Catering if you can at all avoid it. Youll pay more than you should one way or another.

We chose Aspen Pointes catering services for its annual Holiday Party in December 2012. In preparation for the party we met in advance with Randy, their Catering Sales Specialist, to discuss available menu options. Randy was very accommodating to our requirements, and made us feel as if our event was the most important event he was handling. Our available budget was discussed and we felt that we had a great selection of menu options from which to choose. It was very rewarding to work with such a knowledgeable person from start to finish. The day of our event, Aspen Pointe staff were friendly and engaging, which went far in creating the holiday atmosphere we were hoping for. We came in and added a few of our personal decorations to add to the already beautiful set up that was done by Aspen Pointe. The food was in place at the time we requested, served hot in a very presentable manner, and was delicious! There was plenty of food for everyone, but not so much that anything was wasted, which further stressed to us that Aspen Pointe Catering "knows its stuff!" We highly recommend Aspen Pointe to anyone interested in catering an event, whether small or large.

The Ski Shop, Inc used Aspen Pointe on two occasions recently. The first for our annual Holiday Party, and the second for our annual Demo Bus. Wow! We had such great service at both occasions. I didnt have to worry about a thing during the party at my house. Our server made sure everything was taken care of, and even helped me refill the appetizers I made. I walked upstairs to thank him, and EVERYTHING was cleaned up! It says a lot about a company that will be willing to deliver breakfast to you at 5:45am, and even show up early!! Since the bus wasnt there just yet, they waited to make sure all the food stayed hot and even helped place each meal on the seats before leaving. With reasonable prices, and exceptional service, we will definitely use them again!

Was disappointed in the service as they were suppose to set up china for 55 guest. Arrived just 45 minutes before event started-total rush. My guest were filling waters etc… What was shown at the time of consulation was not given for deserts. Selected swans, fruit tarts. According to photo it was suppose to be a nice size. Desserts came small and not what was selected. I had to provide my own desserts to make up for the portion size. Best part salmon cooked there-was delicious. Food was really good. No compensation for event with mistakes. People were great to work with.

I have had a couple of events catered by Aspen Pointe and they certainly helped make these events a big success! The customer service was absolutely outstanding. They made sure our dinner was served without any issues. There was plenty of food, the food was great, and the price was very affordable! The presentation of the food was great and the menu selection was great. I would recommend Aspen Pointe for any size event you might have. It was a pleasure working with them from the first stages of planning to the conclusion of the event.

Amazing desserts and entrees at prices far below their competitors. Ordered from them numerous times and never been disappointed. Love their philosophy of great food, big portions at reasonable prices. Overpricing is so prevalent in today’s catering industry with tiny "artistic" portions on big white plates. The catering market is saturated with competitors trying to out decorate one another at the expense of the customer. Their community mission of serving the disadvantaged/disabled in a culinary training program is added value.

The service, presentation and quality of AspenPointes catering has exceeded our expectations everytime. Friendly staff and timely service has made my job easier with one phone call. Randy - catering sales - has accomodated all our needs and is great at coming up with ideas to make our events great. Once you learn about their mission and how affordable they are you will understand that using their service is a win win situation. Aspen Pointe made everything so easy! They set up a food tasting for us, walked us through everything, gave us tons of options, and were flexible. They showed up on time, the food was great, and the attendants were very attentive to our guests and us as the bride and groom especially. They were also incredibly reasonable compared to other catering services in Colorado Springs. All our guests loved the food. I would highly recommend these guys.
