For the past 2 years ive been coming here for haircut+color and for everything else just for Malika. I am usually not comfortable going to salons for cuts, but i trust MALIKA with my hair with no doubt. Shes been doing amazing job everytime I was there. I receive so many compliments on my hair and get asked who did my hair. MALIKA is very skilled and has a very light hand, her conversation and style is amazing. If you sit for 2 hours, you wont get bored, and wont regret it. I love going to this salon, but my recent visit I felt really uncomfortable because one of the workers there, Jody, I believe was being very racist, saying how "some people" should leave this country and that most of us dont belong here. Sitting next to her chair, as a foreigner, while I was getting a haircut from Malika, I took it very personally, and felt really uncomfortable that employees find the right to talk like that. Excuse me? Where the heck does an employee find the right to talk in such racist language. This a FREE country, i thought racism ended years ago, This is NOT how America should be. Next time chose your employees visely, I am only giving my 5 stars for MALIKA, not for the salon, because as i saw they treat their foreign employees poorly too. Sucha shame to see.

I went to this location as they were having a 25% off sale on new color clients. From start to finish, everyone in the salon was amazing !!! I wanted a change and the owner, Doug, and my wonderful colorist, Robin, were fantastic at analyzing my current color and making a plan for a color correction and gave me a cost ahead of time. I LOVED the new color that appeared in all my overdue roots !!! I went back to ask if they could continue the color correction to all of my hair (I have long hair) and not only did Robin and Doug consult on my hair but also Romeo (another colorist/stylist) also followed the entire process to give me the wonderful color I wanted ! It is rare in businesses today to see an owner take such a hands-on approach to customer satisfaction ! And to have all the colorists interested in helping and learning while I was trying to get a hair color change (my hair does crazy, unexpected stuff with color) was really refreshing. They clearly enjoy working as a team ! Robin was so patient and lovely even though I ran her well past her normal hours ! I highly recommend this salon and both Robin and Romeo as colorists !

I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair, I just knew I wanted something wild and out of my comfort zone. Teresa was very patient with my uncertainty and gave me recommendations on what I could do and what would look great, but ultimately let me decide what I wanted. I have never bleached my hair before and I was super nervous but Teresa walked me through it and assured me with confidence that it was going to turn out amazing. Granted it took a lot of time, but my hat goes off to them because I came in with my husband (who got a phenomenal cut and color by Romeo (see review by Phineapoo)) and my best friend who got a cut and lowlights; the phone kept ringing a.d it was just Romeo and Teresa. They sadly even had to turn a few people away since they didnt have an extra set of hands, but they still managed to make me look and feel sexy. I just moved to the area from Oregon so I didnt know who to go and who to trust with my precious hair. Ended up here and am definitely impressed. Teresa obviously LOVES what she does and it shows in her work. I recommend to everyone and will definitely be going back when I need a touch up.

I recently visited this Fantastic Sams looking to change my hair color from the faded red/pink color it had turned into. I initially wanted to go blonde, but this wouldve likely ruined my hair had it been done in one visit. However, the awesome hair stylist, Robin, and the gentleman working at the salon had other great ideas. My hair is now platinum blonde at the roots and a pretty bright coral/peach color at the ends and I couldnt be happier! My hair still feels very soft and theres little to no damage from the corrective color I received. Everyone at the salon was very professional but also very nice and easy to talk to. The prices are great and they always take walk-ins. This Fantastic Sams is definitely rated #1 in the region for a reason!

I hate this place. My mom and I went here to get our hair dyed and trimmed. They did great with the color but oh my gosh we both have ridiculous hair styles now. If you cut my moms hair or mine please quit your job because you have failed. I look like Im wearing extensions because half of my hair is long ish, while the rest is half the length of the long hair!!! I wanted a trim not a bad hair cut. They cut off way too much of my hair and Im so upset because I am embarrassed to let people see my hair. Oh and as for my mother, she lost about 2 inches of hair. She has very thick curly hair and it looks ridiculous. Dont go here unless you want to look like an compete idiot.

This place was phenomenal! Such a great atmosphere and great people. I was working with Romeo, and my wife and friend were with Teresa. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. I felt bad at first because of how gosh darn busy they were to start out with, since it was only the two of them for quite a while, but they balanced everything super well and got everyone in and out with very great haircuts. Since the three of us were major projects, they took their time to make sure they did it right. It was amazing how well they juggled everything. Left with an awesome new look that immediately started getting complements. Thanks so much! Would go again in a heartbeat.

Tara S. at Fantastic Sams on Hampden and Tamarac, has cut my hair for quite a few years now. About ten. She always does an excellant job, and has a great personality. Ive moved all over Denver in the last few years. And currently live up on the north side of town near Broomfield. There are obviously more choices, and alot closer places to get a haircut than in south Denver. But to me, it is definately worth it to go all the way down south (relatively speaking) to get a haircut at Fantastic Sams, in Taras chair. She is a great asset to her company. I have been seeing Tara S. for several years and she is absolutely the best stylist I have ever had. She takes my hair to a whole new level. She really knows how to give you the look you want and even more but listens to what you want. She gives you a style that is real stylish I was so impressed I told my sister about her and has been thrilled as well. Now we both go to her at the same time!
