I read a lot of reviews, I admit I dont typically write them but I was so satisfied with the outcome of my hair color that I had to write one! I have gone to several stylists over the years asking for the same color, showing the same pictures - cool pale ash almost platinum blonde full highlights to my dirty blonde thin hair. Sounds simple right? More often then not my visits resulted in highlights with gold and warm tones, some that didnt go all the way to my scalp (looked dumb trust me) and most annoying of all is every visit with a single stylist had inconsistent results. So the search continued, honestly I was skeptical since no one seemed to be able to do what I wanted. In comes Cristina Lake. She took the time to listen to my wants and to show me some hair color "swatches" to make sure we were on the same page. In the end it was even better then I could have imagined. I am FINALLY a blonde bombshell lol . She added her own touch to give it depth and wrote down the formula for next time. Bottom line, Cristina Lake knows her stuff about color, especially blonde hair, and shes down to Earth and friendly!

Best salon experience in Denver by far! Christina did an amazing job taking my dark brown hair platinum blonde. Ive had a difficult time finding reliable, experienced hair stylists in this city, and Im so glad to have found this gem! Vernon is an amazing mentor to all the stylists here, and you can tell everyone here loves their job. Id like to respond to Linas review below; I happened to be in the salon when this woman came in. The whole experience was very strange, and the staff at Pulse handled it very professionally. They assessed her hair free of charge, even though she walked in without an appointment. She was very confrontational and, frankly, rude. Listen to all the other 5-star reviews of this place! Pulse is the best.

Ive been coming to have Vernon do my hair for almost 9 years. He is a master at coloring, cutting, and styling your hair. Hes super creative so if you want to try something new, hes your guy! Ive also received services from Cristina and she is wonderful as well. You wont be disappointed if you try out this salon.

Vernon is simply amazing! I have honestly never had so many compliments on my cut or color before. The salon has a great, relaxed atmosphere, and everyone walks out looking chic and satisfied. I drive almost 45 mins to come to this salon, and it is 100% worth the commute.
