I called on a Thursday to get a bid on an electrical job. I was told that someone would contact me early the following week to set up an appointment. Hearing nothing by the following Thursday, I called again and was told someone would call as soon as possible to schedule the appointment for a proposal. I hoped this could happen before the upcoming holiday weekend. It did not. So its now a holiday week, everyone is busy, I get it, so I waited until the following Tuesday to call again. I am now informed that there are at least ten jobs just like mine already scheduled and there is no way they can even come out to make a bid. So how many of these ten priority jobs were scheduled while I patiently waited for nearly three weeks? If someone is slammed with work and they cant fit me into their schedule, I can live with that, just tell me up front, but dont string me out for three weeks! I am busy too! There is absolutely no excuse for treating a potential customer this way. Based upon my experience, it is my opinion that you should be VERY cautious in dealing with a company that has no more regard for their customers than this. I will certainly never consider them for future projects and I will recommend to all of my friends and contacts in the construction business to utilize other electrical contractors. Beware!

I had an immediate electrical job to be done on a hot tub for my renters. I contacted a friend who was an electrician for Coors. However, he was unable to do the job at the time and recommended Louis Karsten (Karsten Electric LLC). I found Louis to be a very professional and courteous person who was able to get to this job in a couple of days. His master electrician and assistant was on time. They did an excellent job in all phases of this electrical work. Everyone that was associated with this company was very pleasant to work with and answered every concern that I had. Karsten Electric charges were very reasonable with the amount of work that had to be done. The project past Jefferson Countys inspector with flying colors. The inspector indicated it was a very good job. I would highly recommend Karsten Electric to anyone needing electrical work. We hired Karsten Electrical as a subcontractor to complete the electrical work in our basement remodel. Their proposal was the most complete and detailed quote we received; it was clear they had done this many time before. They asked us a lot of questions and recommended features that we hadnt considered and changes to what we had initially described to ensure that the finished basement was perfect. Their staff (Larry primarily worked on the project) was always prompt and professional. All change orders were handled with written requests so there were no surprises. They have continued to provide prompt and courteous service after the project was completed. In summary, Karsten Electrical knows what they are doing. They werent the low bid on the project, but they were the best value if you care about quality workmanship and project management.

100% Satisfied! I was referred to Karsten. I called and from the time Louis answered the phone until the time Bob finished the work I was extremely happy with them. Bob called and confirmed the time he would be there and was there on time. Clean, courteous, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful of me and my property. I have recently had my bathroom and basement remodeled and have dealt with many trades recently. All but the plumbing company were "good" but my experience with Karsten was so refreshing Id say it was great! The person who wrote deadbeats below one of 3 things must have happened: 1. Your reviewing the wrong company. 2. You are an angry person or 3. That person no longer works for Karsten. I will refer these guys any chance I get. Restored my faith that customer service really does exsist. Thank you!

I used Karsten to provide electrical services for a mobile injection control trailer we custom fabricated. They installed several hundred feet of conduit, wired two control panels, two power panels, a 3 phase to single phase transformer, and dozens of flow meters, solenoids, outlets, heating circuits, etc., all in a 34 ft. trailer. They were terrific to work with. Karsten was responsive, listened (refreshing that was), and provided a high quality service on time and within my budget. I would recommend Karsten for any residential or industrial job like I had!
