!!!! WARNING!!!! DO NOT LET THIS MAN IN YOUR HOME !!!!A couple of months ago I hired Scott Lapoint to fix the electrical In my house. I am pregnant and a first time mom so I wanted everything to be perfect and safe. There were a couple problems with it some outlets and lights didnt work. It took him about 9 hours just to diagnose the problem which was a "bad or broken wire" he then proceeded to tell me to cut several holes in my ceiling to find the "broken wire" and once I found it he could then come back and repair it. He charged me 1200$ total for basically doing nothing and Making me cut holes in my ceiling. I found this experience totally outrageous so I called another licensed professional electrician to come up and see if all of this was necessary. The other electrician came up and told me I was definitely being scammed. He correctly diagnosed the problem and simply ran a new wire from one outlet to the next, fixing all of the problems with my electrical which took him a total of one hour and he charged a much more responsible rate. All of this not even being the most messed up thing he has done. Since he charged me so much and I am a first time expecting mom I had to set up a payment plan with his company to pay it all off. I was late on one payment and the next thing I know he showed up to my house knocking on my door. At the time I was in the bathroom and didnt hear anyone knocking. Next thing I know he decided to open my front door of my house without consent and proceeded to poke his head inside my living room and yell hello. I was the only one home at the time and was extremely scared for my life I ran out to the living room to find Scott Lapoint letting himself into my home to harass me for his money. Do not use this company they are a total ripoff and have no respect for personal space and private property.

I worked for this company for 2 months I am a licenced journayman electrician in the state of colorado for over 25 years. Do not use this company they are absolutely a Worthless company. Scott lapoint is the owner of this company he is verbally abusive to his employees does not install electrical Equipment to national electrical code. He also uses non licenced apprentices to install electrical witch is illegal in the state of colorado. SO BE WARNED DONT GET RIPPED OFF BY THIS WORTHLESS COMPANY

This electrician asked my husband lots of questions about the installation of a car charging station---as if he expected my husband to be the electrician. The work that was done by an apprentice and a journeyman turned out fine, but we had to pay them both an hourly rate. Also, the time billed included their travel time to our home AND a mileage charge, AND an overhead charge. Seems excessive to me.
