Avoid WOW at all costs (literally). This gym team is unprofessional, lacks leadership and does not believe honoring its word is important- rather they fail to call you back and hide behind a contract they mislead/lied to you about, in order to get you to sign. Now let me be clear about what has happened so you can understand why as of July 1st I will file a claim in Weld County Small Claims Court against them. When my wife and I went to meet with the WOW salesperson we specifically asked her what would happen should we be transferred with my job in anticipation of a new job. We were told very clearly by Sady that if we were transferred more than 30 miles away from WOW our contract would be canceled upon proof of this. In August I accepted an offer for a position in Aurora, and we immediately faxed over and confirmed receipt, and the next time that my wife had an opportunity she actually also dropped the same documents off. We were told everything would be taken care of. Fast forward to two weeks ago when I received a call from Professional Finance Corp attempting to collect over $500 from me for the "balance of my WOW contract plus interest." SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! I immediately called WOW and got the General Managers Voice Mail Tammy Forbes. I told her very clearly what was wrong, and asked for a call back. My wife also called the same day. We were very clearly told she was in the gym that day. We received NO CALL BACKS. I again called on June 8th at 10:43 and left another message telling her if I did not hear back from her by the end of the day that I would report to the BBB. Again, and still no CALL BACK! (Q) What kind of a business is this you may ask? (A) One you should be very careful about doing business with! I was shocked and upset that I had not checked the BBB before signing anything with them. Their rating is "F" for (FAIL). They have had 4 complaints in the last twelve months prior to mine, all of which have not been responded to. Really, how can you run a business like this in this economy and believe it wont eventually come back around to bite you. Perhaps it is no mistake that two other gyms have recently opened in Greeley. Maybe Greeley will eventually get a gym that can compete nationally and put this joint out of business! BUYER BEWARE! I will take this to Small Claims Court just as I have said I will. She may believe that ignoring her clients is the best way to get them to go away but she does not know where I stand on this! On principle alone, I will fight this until it is resolved and my false collections account resolved and a letter received from WOW is sent to me stating this. I will update this posting to continue to share what happens from here so you can all be aware of the latest. Again- BUYER BEWARE!

The Good: 1) Best Gym in the area 2) Staff is friendly with the exception of management The Bad: 1) Best Gym in the area = this place is always packed. 2) The gym hours are terrible. Weight room closes at 9 pm on weekdays 6 pm on weekends. WOW 3) Music from aerobic class is pumped through the whole gym meaning everyone has to listen to the music and hear the instructor. I wear headphones and with them turned up all the way I still hear the super motivated aerobic instructors. 4) Weight room weights and equipment are outdated. Benches have tears in them. 5) Management is terrible the place is run by 2 woman who are girlfriends. They have ran this place for years and dont appear to be going anywhere. They do not make eye contact with members. If you bring up a problem they tell you to put it in the suggestion box then they ignore that. Rather then address issues they will cancel your membership. So dont make to much of a fuss 6) No A/C... Warehouse turned into a gym with weight room basketball court and aerobics all going and no A/C. Really??? 7) Membership is expensive. 8) Closes on all holidays but wants to promote fitness. If a service is paid for then the service should be given. I understand closing on Christmas but Labor Day, Memorial day.. Come on at least have morning hours for the die hards Overall.. I give a 0 based on the approach I see from Management Its the best gym in the area. With that being said if a Golds, 24 HR Fitness, Ballys, etc opened within 10 minutes... This place would be out of business. Suggestions.. New Management or start taking pride in the service your providing to this community. Get on the same page as your staff and act like fitness matters. Extend your hours

I would like to thank several employees at WOW for helping me meet my goals this year. My girlfriend talked me in to joining WOW over a year ago and the dual membership program is awesome and so affordable. In Jan this year I signed up for the Biggest Loser program to get in with a group of people to work out with. Victoria Dolly Fonseth was our team leader and she measured me in at 18.3% body fat. She brought so much energy, motivation and inspiration to our group workouts and had all of us excited to work out every day. I finished that program and started personal training with Chris Kramer. She kept the motivation going for me and got my body fat down to 13.3% by May, 2013. While training with her I was attending Kim Mcmurrens boot camp class twice a week and she is a lady knows how to kick your butt in a workout! She has more energy and motivation than I have ever had and I swear in that one hour you burn enough calories to last a week! The gals at the front desk are always so friendly to me and Reece, Tammy and Jeremy have always helped me with concerns and questions along the way. Thank you WOW for being wow in my book. Leslie J.

I love that they offer so many classes free with your membership I love the Boot Camp Classes and Synergy. I just took the biggest looser challenge and then 12 days till Christmas with Dolly "one of their personal trainers" and I lost 20 pounds !!!!!!!! I love that if you have a question the trainers are happy to help you and answer questions. The other gyms Ive gone too wont help you with anything unless you pay for personal training. I love the program and the energy of Work Out West there always coming up with new classes their open to suggestions its always clean and event though its a popular place you can always find somewhere to work out. I have been a member at Work Out West since 2007 I absolutely love it there. A nice Big Facility with Several Areas with Cardio Equipment, Free Weights, Weight Machines, Swimming, Tennis, Basketball, Racquetball & a nice Indoor Track. I used to go the Conditioning Spa but Work Out West is so much better and larger. They were honest and open about their contract, good prices for the value of what you get !

Work Out West is definitely the best gym in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have taken advantage of the personal training staff and group training programs and have received a high level of support and great workouts. I joined the Biggest Loser competition the Fall and lost 22 pounds in 6 weeks. The encouragement from my personal trainer and diverse workouts in the programs helped me to get much closer to my fitness goals. There is a wide variety of equipment and a great group activity schedule for continuing to work out on my own. There is onsite child care available for a small cost, the staff is great with the kids and my 2 year old looks forward to going to the gym (which is great for Mom)!
