So far my experience here has been good. Its brand new so everything is very clean. Like all planet fitnesses the free weight selection is slim, and there is a huge amount of cardio equipment. I was worried about the lunk alarm and things like the dress code, but when i went on the little tour before i joined the girl assured me they almost never use the lunk alarm and the dress code is the same as every other gym. I have a feeling this planet fitness is a bit more relaxed than others as far as there strange rules. There was one strange thing that happened though. I go to the gym really late, usually from 10pm-1 or 2am. So i had finished up my workout and went to get ready to shower and there was someone cleaning the ladies locker room. So I decided to go do more cardio and just wait for them to finish. After 45min of running i assumed theyd be finished but when i went back in they were still cleaning the locker area like they were when i first went in. I sucked it up and went to my locker to get my towel and stuff, and the person cleaning like came up like a foot maybe even half a foot away from me and just stood there staring at me. I asked if i was in there way and they didnt say anything. So i awkwardly took off all my sweaty gym clothes (leaving my underwear on out of discomfort) as quickly as possible and grabbed my things and went to shower. Luckily they were gone when i came back, but it was kinda creepy. Im a little scared to complain or say anything about it to the staff because iv read stories about people getting there memberships canceled just for complaining. I now try to go at more normal hours in effort for this to not happen again.

Its an okay gym with no free barbels and free weights up to 75 lb - if you are looking for a gym to get the job done its fine. But their contract has hidden clauses and dates in it - their $10/mo membership has a hidden $30 annual fee (still not terrible), but if you cancel after you pay the "monthly fee", they wont let you keep coming for the rest of the month - which you paid for... I figured I would cancel on the last day of the month to get the full months worth I paid for, and the manager immediately took an attitude with me. He told me after he had already "canceled" my membership, that I would still be billed on the 1st for the annual fee, to which I said that didnt make sense and wasnt fair - he said he could do nothing. So I said to withdraw the cancellation since I was already being forced to pay the yearly fee, and he asked me to sign another agreement for them to bill me - even though I never signed anything about cancelling, all he did was scan my card. He made the whole situation feel slimey and scammish, and its honestly one of poorest customer service experiences Ive had - I decided to leave to run errands because of how awkward he made it and to cool down. When I went back later to clear it up, the woman behind the counter was very nice and said there was a cancellation mark on my account, but no cancellation document had been signed and it could easily be corrected. Sooo, the gym a good value (its not even the price or charges which bug me, its the sneakiness) and staff is solid except that incident with the manager and the phone-company-esk hidden fees and hooks.

Ive been to 3 different Planet Fitness locations and this is my favorite one, mainly because of the awesome staff. Always very friendly and polite. I never wait for cardio machines and the whole place is impressively clean. The tanning beds, massage beds/chairs, and low price definitely give this place a leg up on 24 hour. (just missing the swimming pool) One problem with this gym may be due of the No Judgement policy. For some reason I keep ending up on a cardio machines next to people who were just smoking outside or in their cars (Ive seen this). Not the gyms fault, but this has rarely if ever happened to me at 24 hour fitness. No judgment, but I cant breathe next to that. Also, they give out pizza, tootsie rolls, and bagels. I get rewarding ourselves for hard work, but why reinforce negative behavior? I wish they focused more on educating people and offering alternatives to the crap we already eat. Im sure those are all corporate policies so Im still giving them 5 stars. Thanks staff!

I LOVE this gym!! Never in my life would I have thought Id say that lol. The staff is great and SUPER friendly!! They are always smiling and helpful if needed. Ive never had a negative encounter with them. Megan in particular has stuck out from the crowd with her upbeat, friendly personality. Even if shes on the phone or helping someone she will still scan my card no problem. The space is nice and big, the cleanliness is great. Only wish for it would be that they have a space with mirrors similar to the stretching area to do more individualized workouts, but I can understand with the whole "No Gymtimidation" motto thats probably why theres not. All in all great facility and amenities and STAFF!!

I love this gym. I love that I can come here at any time and it be open 24 hours. I recently was in a car accident and hadnt been in in 6 months. Planet fitness has this motto about how it is a "judgment free" zone. When I put my black card up to the scanner, I think she could see how long it had been since I had been in. She chuckled and laughed at me and mocked me by giving me a smart ass remark, "ha well welcome back, finally" she was very catty and rude towards me. When you work for a place, live by your motto. Who cares if its been 6 months or a year even. I pay my membership every month and I dont judge. Their staff (or at least that one staff member) could be more respectful.

I joined this location on a black card membership a little over a month and a half ago. I have been coming in as much as my schedule allows and utilizing all the features. The gym always seems to be clean and well taken care of. All of the staff I interacted with have been very friendly, upbeat, and quick to help. I have never really had to wait any significant amount of time to utilize any of the equipment which is very nice. The fact the gym is 24 hours is also convenient as I am an on-call shift worker and my schedule is often all over the place. This location has been a non-intimidating and approachable facility to maintain my health! Thanks Planet Fitness!

Planet fitness has been an overall decent place, HOWEVER although they say people need to leave their egos at the door, the representative at the front door has the biggest ego and attitude I have ever seen! They have two males behind the desk but it was the taller one who has his nose in the air. He questioned my membership and then he accused me of acting irresponsible, making a scene each time. I was placed at fault because of his lack of communication with his other staff members. He was the face of the company and completely disappointed the slogan as well as my expectations.
