I called and cancelled my membership with the gym I was using when I broke my ankle, the person froze my account for a year instead. On the 3rd of April ASF Payments called me to take payments from my card, luckily my card had expired, I informed them that I had cancelled my membership. The said it was my responsibility to prove that I had cancelled the membership and I was not only to pay for April but I was to pay for May as well because it was past the third. I sent them an official email on the fourth informing them that I hadnt been to the Gym in over a year and I was disputing the charges. They acknowledged my email, then called me to tell me they were not going to cancel my membership until I paid for the 2 months of service that I didnt go to the Gym. I refused and disputed their charges, instead they have continually kept billing me every month, for a membership I have cancelled. I am presently filing a complaint with the california consumer protection agency and I make sure I or anyone I know is not affiliated with any company or outfit that uses their service.

Definitely not happy with this company. I had no idea billing would be such a train wreck. My account racked up a ton of fees because I did not cancel correctly. I feel if Golds Gym had explained things more clearly, I could have cancelled my membership. However here I am 5 months later, having NEVER received a call, voicemail, email, or physical mail, and I owe them an outstanding balance. I was on the phone with someone for 30 minutes trying to explain that THEIR miscommunication is not MY fault. And yet I am still financially responsible because of the contract. There is also NO way to pay out a balance, if you dont have it in full right away, because you cant officially cancel your account until it is ALL paid. Meaning, the fees and charges will just keep adding up, until you somehow come up with a lump sum of cash. Not happy at all.

My daughter tore the tendons in her knee. The doctor wrote a note stating that continued use of her knee would cause permanent damage if she continued with karate lessons. They wont let me out of the contract because if wasnt phrased that my daughter had a permanent disability. I am a 100% service connected disabled Navy veteran. I cant afford to keep paying for lessons that would only cause permanent damage to her knee. I canceled the card they where charging the plan to. I am the buyer of the plan and am totally and permanently disabled and cant continue to afford to make payments. As the exact literal wording of the agreement goes that alone would excuse me from payments. Nothing in the agreement states when or where the disability had to occur. Like I said I draw disability income, which by law they cant touch.

I moved away from Fort Collins and the martial arts studio that I had been practicing at for five years located there in June. I knew that there were affiliates of the studio in the Denver area and asked the owner of the studio if he could recommend me to a new studio. He did recommend me to a new studio but even though he said it was an affiliate it wasnt. Because of this misinformation I began practicing at the new studio and electronically paying my monthly contract dues. However the owner of the new studio told me that he would get me set up on a payment plan. At this point I realized something was wrong and called the company, which told me I must continue to pay for services I never received.

I have to agree that ASF is a bad billing company. I worked for them in Client Support and all I can say is that they are a sweat shop. I should have turned tail and run when they asked me in the interview " would I lie to a customer if my supervisor asked me to?" Even though I said no, they hired me. But 3 months later I was asked to lie to a Client (Gym owner) about his account. And they will continue to bill someone on the member side even if the club goes out of business. This is just a bad company all around! I wouldnt even give them 1 star but it wont let me post my review without it.

Need a 0 star option for ASF Payments. Absolutely horrendous experience dealing with a gym membership cancellation which I went above and beyond to do my diligence and ensure I was not billed again after my contract ended. Their support staff is rude, difficult to contact, and unresponsive at best. Im sure most people who end up having to deal with them end up in that position unwillingly as I did. If you encounter a merchant that uses ASF Payments for their billing, its a good sign that you should steer clear.

I had a month-to -month verbal agreement with my gym in San Antonio which closed unexpectedly. The owners filed for bankruptcy. On July 1st I received ASF payment Solutions phone number through third parties. I called and cancelled. They acknowledged the club closed. They are billing for TWO months, a late fee tacked on AND a $5.00 manual billing fee. It is harassment and baseless. They have no verbal OR written contract. GREED GREED GREED. Nice to make a living without working or providing a service.

This is the BIGGEST rip off I have ever encountered. I will NEVER ever sign with a gym using ASF Rip-off Solutions!!!! They charge $5 just to send you a paper bill. They do not have the ability to split payments. They charge $27.00 late fees as well as another $20 return item fee?!? $47 late fees!! Plus $5 just to bill!? WTF?! This review will be all over Facebook, Twitter, etc. You get the idea but stay far away! Total scam artists!!! Youll jump through several hoops to cancel. Not easy. Unbelievable!

I would give them a negative star if at all possible! They are the worst people to ever work with. Our gym closed and they will not let us out of our contracts. There are over 70 members that are stuck in a contract with a gym that is no longer there. They are saying we need to give them 60 days notice of canceling. We were given 2 days notice of the gym closing so we had no way to give a 60 day notice to cancel. This company is a joke and will do anything to get their money even if its not owed

Worst company ever!!!! I have no Idea how the people that work for this company sleep at night. My contract with them is already done and I have to wait another 91 days ( 6 payments ) until the cancellation goes through. AND you HAVE top ship the cancellation letter via Express Mail to Colorado!! I will never join Golds gym or any other company that uses ASF. Biggest rip off ever. Learned my lesson the hard way. Probably should have read reviews before I signed anything!

This company is a total ripoff. Under no circumstances should you ever sign a contract with them. They will charge you a fee for the rest of your life. Thats what theyre trying to do with me, months after I cancelled my membership with the gym and I was told by them they would no longer charge me. One month later, they told me I owed them for two more months and they would continue charging me every month!
