I have been utilizing Black Diamond for many, many years and not once have they disappointed me with the level of service provided! I can admittedly be a little picky when it comes to car wash joints, because for me, its a big splurge to give myself a break from dog mobile duty, so when I say these things, I mean them! I have brought them everything from a wicked dirty little Kia Spectra en route to take my grandmother to Mass (totally worth a splurge!), a couple of SUVs, and a giant ever so furry dog mobile, aka a Ford E350 Super Duty van filled with kennels! No matter what debacle I pull up in LOL, theyve always thoroughly vacuumed out, cleaned the interior of, and dried post wash with no complaint! In fact, the the folks outside usually talk with me about the dogs I am blessed to work with and seem to really go the extra mile to make sure all is sparkling clean for my packs of furkids - just awesome people! The staff inside has always been very friendly (and often quite funny). Should you choose to wait inside, there are comfy places to lounge, cold drinks, snacks, cards, auto supplies, and fun little things to peruse and possibly purchase (I mean if youre going to indulge, indulge, right? Oh and if youre running late to say, pick up your grandma and head on over to your nephews birthday party, not only will they ensure grandma gets a clean ride, you can seriously find enough groovy stuff in the little shop to pull a decent last minute gift together if needed! Not that Ive done such things, of course...;-D LOL!) Folks need to lighten up a bit, maybe give them another try, before writing a rather grouchy review to see if maybe, just maybe, it was just an off day. The peeps at Black Diamond work their tails off doing a job that surely has its less than spectacular moments. I know this is a rather lengthy and impassioned review for a car wash, BUT after seeing one review in particular that is front and center on the Google search page, I thought Id take the time to share my experiences in dealing with BDCW over the years, as again, no matter what size or condition the vehicle Ive delivered unto them, theyve rocked it without fail every single time! Give them a try!

I just went to Black Diamond Car Wash today with my minivan. This minivan has had it tough too. We have 4 kids and use the van daily. Cheerios, juice, dirt from playgrounds, and toys shoved into the great abyss have plagued our minivan. Until today. Im from out of town but on a whim decided to get our van cleaned (maybe I was just tired of hearing my kids Kix getting stepped on or maybe I really wanted to find my daughters missing shoe). We stopped at this full service Black Diamond Car Wash because of its location and appeal. This is a super nice car wash. My dad used to own a car wash, so I know what Im talking about. When I pulled up I was greeted by friendly staff who were ready to get started. I unloaded all my kiddos and walked into their lobby. They have windows with step stools for kids to watch as their car gets washed! I was even impressed with how clean the tunnel was! But really the whole place was clean (yep, including the bathroom). They even had an outside play area for my kids to play while we waited. And it didnt take that long either. I was surprised at how quick and efficient the service was here! The end result? A shiny minivan inside and out. The steering wheel always had a weird grimy feel to it that I couldnt get rid of (we bought it used), but after today its gone! The inside floors and cup holders are cereal and dirt free and my daughters missing shoe? Found. Thanks Black Diamond! I will be coming back again...soon! A little side note: Fellow kid friendly vehicle owners going there that have car seats, if you unbuckle/unlatch your car seats they will clean underneath them. But if you dont they wont be able to get underneath them completely.. I believe its a liability issue. We actually had our car seats installed at a fire station so I appreciated that they left ours alone. Amazingly our backseats still look great!

I was disappointed with my service for a few reasons. First, there was a very pushy salesman when I arrived and I felt like every service was an upgrade even though it should be included in an interior wash. I went along with the upgrade because I wanted them to wipe off the threshold of the interior along the bottom of the doorway. He assured me that this is the best one and that this would be taken care of plus they would wipe down the cup holders. When I got my car and opened the door to get it, what do I see... Dirty muddy on the bottom of thr door interior! It looked like it was given a slight wipe down, but done poorly and rushed. I decided to inspect further. Yep, dirty cup holders, crumbs still on the seat, crumbs on thr floor along t doorways, trunk was not vacuumed, and there was a huge wet stain on my back seat on my beige upholstery. Just a sloppy job and way over priced. Very disappointing. I called and they said they would let me come back for free. But after that, I will not be retuning.

This was the last time Ill ever return to this car wash. After having come here for years, I experienced a decline in their services to the point that its not even worth the time or money. I paid $21.95 for the Diamond Car Wash which was a full vacuum, cleaning of console, dash, inside of doors and the windows. Basically I paid $21.95 to have my car run through an automated car wash as it was the only thing done, I should have just paid the extra $5 for a gas station wash. When I got to my car the mud that was on my leather seats was still there, the console havent even been touched and still had the sticky remains of a spilled drink in the bottom. The vacuuming could have been done better by my seven year old! To say that I was disappointed doesnt even begin to cover it. I asked for the manager and she began to make excuses for the poor job and then eventually took my car and revaccumed and cleaned it the way that I had originally paid to have it done. I will never return to this car wash again!

Do not waste your time or money coming to this place. This is our second bad experience at this business. Waited 45 minutes to have our car washed. When we finally got the car all of the floor mats were in a pile in the backseat, however our backseat mats were missing. My husband went in to complain because none of the employees could find our mats, and the manager came out and proceeded to tell us there werent any mats in the backseat. He argued with us for several minutes claiming we were lying about the mats until he finally went back to check and eventually found them. He never offered an apology for how he treated us. We were offered a $50 coupon, but I will not be wasting my time to come back and use it for another sub par experience and treated this way by management. When it was all said and done the car was not even clean (dirty interior, etc). Very very disheartening.
