My house incurred hail damage in the summer of 2014 and after filing an insurance claim, I choose Roof Worx to perform the repair work. The actual work is fine and I do not have problem with the workmanship. I take issue to their billing. After signing the contract estimate, I expected to pay something very close to that number. On the estimate, several items were written in such as ridge venting for a specific amount ($ per x of linear feet). After all work was completed and a final bill was sent out, they wanted more money for the ridge venting even though it was clearly included on the estimate. Additionally, there were no permit fees included on the estimate. Perhaps I should have caught that, but I am not in the construction industry and you would think that their own professional estimator would know to include that fee. Hell, you would think this would be a dedicated line item on the estimate. So of course, they wanted that fee to be paid as well. And then there was tax on the materials. They already knew how much material to purchase because it was all written out on the estimate; so why wasnt this included initially. I just dont understand why they would leave stuff out to surprise the customer at the end? There were a few other more minor things that I dont feel the need to go into here as I hope the reader gets the picture. All told, they wanted almost 8% more than the written, signed estimate. I tried disputing this but when they sent a certified letter for payment; I just paid it to be done with it. A shame, because I would have agreed to split the amount. I informed the insurance company of the issue and told them as a long standing USAA member, I could not recommend Roof Worx and hope they inform their claimants to not use them. It is unfortunate that this took place. If you decide to use them, perhaps you should keep all this in mind.

I would not recommend this company. I felt like we were getting the run around, company had a difficult time working with our insurance (State Farm) even recommended we file a complaint with them when the insurance company was great at returning calls and approved repairs. This company kept complaining about insurance company and making more excuses why the job wasnt getting done. I felt that roof worx representative was all talk kept saying things were going to get done, would call me me back in a few days etc. but weeks went by and it was always me contacting them for updates. The manager of the company wasnt helpful either when after 3 months and no work completed (we paid $1300 upfront) we contacted him. He wanted to charge us for all sorts of fees to cancel, had poor communication as well and I didnt feel like he was committed to making things right. Overall we were not satisfied with this company. We went with another company that completed the job when they stayed they could, did a great job, very professional, great communication, and they took care of everything, including interior painting. When roof worx refers you to other people so plan on spending a lot of your personal time on the phone coordinating things. Unfortunately I cant report if they did a good job or not since we could never get them to complete it.

I called Roof Worx because I Had noticed that some of my shingles were missing. I had already filed a claim with my insurance and but they only wanted to pay for a small repair. I thought that didnt seem right so I decided to get the opinion of a experienced roofer and ask that the adjuster come out again to meet with the representative. Roof Worx sent out Brian Benson who really knew his stuff. Brian had pointed out that the whole roof needed to be repaired not just part of it. He negotiated with my Adjuster and they approved the replacement of my whole roof. When it came to them actually getting down to the work I must say I was impressed on how thorough and efficient they were. The crews were very respectful, cleaned up after themselves and over all did a great job. The whole process took less than 7 days from negotiation to installation. I do have to say my roof looks beautiful and Roof Worx made the process so easy and stress free. I highly recommend them to anyone!!

Roof Worx did a great job to help me repair my roof so that the sale of my house didnt fall through. When the buyers inspector found that several shingles were missing and that there was a leak letting snow into the attic, I gave Roof Worx a call. The response was prompt, the price was reasonable and the service was very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure that the roof shingles were replaced and sealed others that were loose and in danger of falling off. They also found that it was poorly-designed vents that were letting snow into the attic and replaced them for me. Im incredibly busy and I dont have the time or inclination to babysit a company that I hired to fix a problem for me. I really appreciated that Roof Worx had the expertise and professionalism to take care of everything for me so I could focus on all the other things I have going on in my life. I highly recommend them!

We had Wind damage on our Northglenn home, called my insurance company they send a company out who said I needed a new roof. Then insurance company disagrees with that opinion and said just tack down some shingles and my roof is old anyway. I called Roofworx for a second opinion and Victor responded. He came out, checked out our roof by walking it and by drone and agreed that it needed replaced- he then offered to meet with our insurance company adjuster. They walked the roof together and lo and behold...We needed a new roof and insurance would pay for it. Roofworx used quality GAF materials, tore off and hauled away the old roof, installed a quality new roof on our home in one 11.5 hour day. Passed inspection with no problem and the best part- I paid my deductible and Farmers paid the rest. We would not hesitate to use Thornton Roofworxs again and recommend them without reservation.

I am very pleased with the experience I had with Roof Worx. My wife was very sick and passed away just as we were getting started with the project. So I needed a company I could count on. Everyone from the guys who came to do the initial inspection to the office staff, project managers, and work crews were courteous and knowledgeable. The workmanship is topnotch. I had roof, guttering, and windows replaced and siding painted. They kept me updated on the status of each step, and each work crew completed their work timely and cleaned up after themselves. The billing department was very patient and helped me get the paperwork for the mortgage to sign off on the payments. Roof Worx made this project hassle free at a time that I really needed it to be hassle free. Thank you Roof Worx!

Roof Worx is an excellent roofing company. My elderly father was having a lot of problems with his roof leaking due to a low roof pitch and improperly installed skylights. Brian and his team had to do some troubleshooting to figure it out, but they came up with the right solution. Also, Roof Worx is not one of those fly-by-night roofing companies that you hear about on the news. These guys go the extra mile. After working on my dads house, I asked Brian to come over to my house and check out a roof drainage problem I was having. In a matter of minutes, Brian identified the source of the problem and then proceeded to fix it at no charge. Granted it wasnt a huge deal to implement the fix, but Brian knew the solution, and done!. Great company, and highly recommended.
