Recent hail storms in Colorado Springs have brought out an onslaught of roofers, general contractors and what not out of the woodwork. One of those companys (North West Roofing) had their scouts out by my area yesterday. The female rep came by first, I asked when they could give me a written estimate to repair my roof. She said they could do that in a couple of minutes. When the gentleman came by, he proceeded to sell me on the companys services. I asked him to give me a written estimate, then he looked up at my roof from my front door and said "20k".... I was surprised that he had the professional skill set to determined that amount from the ground. I said really? And he went on to say, we can "waive your deductible" and do it for "20k" or exactly what your insurance gives you, your choice!!! Unbelievable!!! I know what it costs to repair my roof, Ive done it a couple years ago. I can see if this was a fly by night company, but this is a local Colorado Springs company preying on its locals. Shame..... To management, check your route sheets yesterday 08-22-16 around 430-530 pm to see where your crew was canvassing. Oh and Im pretty sure one of those statements made by your rep was Illegal.

I was very, very impressed with Northwest from start to finish. They came by the day after a terrible hailstorm and I let them look at the roof, and there was damage. I worked with Aaron Campbell who was impressively honest and professional. Every step of the way they were top notch. They bought a tarp and put it on my garage roof even before I hired them. There was no pressure from Aaron to close the sale and the company did a fantastic job on the roof. The foreman, Hector, was very careful and paid attention to every detail. They even went above and beyond by installing plywood on the garage roof that I purchased, and was not included in the insurance claim. Its the best roof our garage has ever had. We recommended them to our neighbor across the street, and after Aaron inspected their roof, he told them that he didnt think they had enough damage for a claim. When was the last time a roof salesman ever climbed down and told someone he didnt think they needed a new roof?... I highly recommend using North West Roofing. We are very pleased with them.

I have never written a complaint before, but I have had quite a difficult time with this roofing company. First my representative did not return my calls for several days when I was out of town and in the process of getting my roof replaced. I wanted to double check on the work which was going to be done, and the work was done before I ever had a returned call. I then asked for another representative to come out and discuss the money and the work done. He gave me his word on one amount, then I get a call 2 months later stating that I now owe more money. The gutters that were to be installed, we had to call several times to get installed, they were over a month late. Now they are saying that I owe them for a deductible that has already been paid. Busy or not, this is a very disorganized organization and I will not do business with them again, nor would I suggest that anyone else does.

I had an absolute wonderful experience with Don and Norwest Exteriors. From the inspection report for my Seller’s home the Buyer wanted an item on the roof repaired. I call Don at North West and just asked him if he could give me an estimate of how much the repair would be and the time frame in which he could do it. Don said that he would get to the home and give me an idea within two hours. So not only did Don get to the home in a timely manner he also did the repair at the same time not knowing whether or not he would be paid for the work he preformed. To me that was above and beyond my expectation. The charge was extremely reasonable and included a five year roof certification. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to use Don and North West again as he provided excellent customer service and did a great job. Michael L. Worst experience ever. Never use them again. I paid over 400 for a security door. The lock quit so they put a new lock on it. Now anyone can get in all they have to do is break the glass and turn the lock so now what I bought the door for is useless. Instead of doing it right they just do want they can to get buy and think your stupid and wont know the difference. To bad the owner is not more aware of how they work. To call and talk to some one is useless . Bad business . If your single women beware they screw you over. The guy they sent to fix it said well I cant find kind lock you had so shouldnt he of called and asked what he should do instead of putting on the wrong kind of lock. Dont use them they are crooked as the day is long. BEWARE!!!!!

We had a very good experience with Northwest Exteriors. Our sales representative was Richard Shock. He was very professional and did a great job explaining the entire process. This was our first time putting in a claim for insurance (hail damage) and Richard made the entire process easy to understand. He provided us with sample examples of how the insurance company would be doing the transactions and what to expect. The company was very professional when it came to installing the roof. They worked with our schedule and showed up on time. The workers who performed the job were very pleasant and professional. The cleanup was terrific. I have recommend Northwest Exteriors to friends and would continue to do so.

In June 2013 I needed to have a roof replacement. I like in Northen Colorado and called North West Roofing, North West Exteriors, based on a referral from my sister who lives in Denver. Richard Shook responded promptly and set up an appoinment to check my roof. Richard was very knowledgeable and also made time to come back and meet with my insurance adjuster. Mr. Shook thoroughly explained the process and paperwork. The roofing team showed up exactly as Mr. Shook stated they would. They finished before noon and had everything cleaned up. This company and its staff does an amazing job of providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service. I would highly recomment them.

i worked for northwest for 2 weeks and left because the stingy money hungry pig owner Tom likes to rip off employees... in meetings many co-workers were high doped up, my old supervisor has tatoos and piercings all over her face, full of ex-convicts knocking on doors, the owner brags about getting kicked out of high school for selling weed which i thought was pathetic , i made $1300 my first week and got a check for $600. after many phone calls i got $1100, i later find out his doped up employees messed up . also other employees complained about the same exact thing, once i seen my second paycheck was off again i immediately left. hope the owner reads this heres your karma
