Dont use Monarch Roofing. I had several promises made and asked to sign a contract before they were fulfilled. Now that they still have not been fulfilled and after asking for all of the money up front, they will not let me out of my contract where no work has been done and no money has exchanged hands. I do not wish to use their services, but instead of shaking hands and moving on as professionals, they want to force me to use them to complete my roof. It has only been a few days since I have signed the contract. I tried to call and speak with the owner, but was denied and instead given the voice mail of the VP in charge of operations. It looks like Im going to have to hire legal council in order to settle the matter. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE! Update - I have been exchanging phone messages with Alicia, the VP of operations. and posted the following in response to a very abusive post to my above text. I have returned several calls from your company stating I just want to move forward and not use your organization. I state this EVERY TIME, I returned your call leaving a mesaage on your voice mail that was very clear. Yet, instead of just conceding that this would be the best solution for everyone involved, you proceed to try and force me to use your organization when I have extensive misgivings, especially after reading several other reviews. I tried to call off my contract after 3 business days and yet you still will not do the honorable thing and just move on. Why do you persist on trying to force me to use your organization? Nothing I have said is in anyway untrue or inappropriate, I am merely stating facts and giving my opinion on what I feel about your company. No one should have to endure this type of bullying from an organization. I wish to have the work on my home done properly, professionally and timely. Monarch has offered me none of these options! I will never do business with this company and if I can help it, no one I know will either! Oh, and just FYI, the salesman asked me SEVERAL times when he could get the money that the insurance company gave me, stating he couldnt order supplies until he received the check. So they werent "ready to go" because they hadnt even ordered my roofing materials. I responded by asking when I could get an accurate quote on the window that needs replacing? His response was always, Ill get right on that, but I was never told a date to meet the estimator. Just one of many red flags. And it just gets better. After posting a reply on my wall calling me a slanderer and a bully, Monarch then attempted to pull a permit to do the work on my house! I had already informed them I was working with another contractor who, luckily, had pulled the permit already! STOP!! I have given plenty of notice in an extremely timely manner, within the contractual 3 business days, you need to stop trying to force me to do business with you!!! This is my last attempt to try and end this amicably. If you do not cease all attempts to do work on my home, or in any other way try to extract money from me, the next communications you receive will be from my attorney. And since you have shown no regard for my wishes for you to cease and desist, I will be seeking repayment of all accumulated legal fees.

Over the past four years that we have lived in our home, we have hired nearly two dozen contractors for various repair/improvement projects and none (in terms of service, quality of workmanship and overall professionalism) have compared to Monarchs stucco team! From the very beginning, Lorena spoke to us about the scope of our project and our options for repairing and re-skimming our home. She was very kind, patient and professional, helping us to really understand what our home needed in terms of repairs. During one of our meetings, she even called in the companys stucco specialist, Miguel, to explain the stucco process and show us that our improper flashing had led to moisture damage behind the stucco. Unlike with other companies that we had talked to, we didnt feel pressured or over-sold. These two knew what they were talking about and walked us through how to best solve our problems. Miguel and Lorenas professional knowledge was evident and we were confident in hiring Monarch to do our job. Miguel and his crew worked on our home for nearly a month, repairing and re-skimming the entire exterior, installing flashing and making necessary repairs along the way. Without a doubt, it was a big job and, for my three little kids, a long time to have our house under construction but we never once felt inconvenienced. As promised, the crew showed up every morning at 7am ready to work (or more accurately, they arrived at 6:45 and were already physically working by 7am). After my experiences with numerous other contractors that werent so reliable, this was refreshing. The Monarch guys showed up on time, were kind and respectful to my family and always left our home at the end of the day picked up and as tidy as possible. Even when we encountered a problem or two with unexpected rotting or an accidental color mix-up, the crew respectfully explained the situation and our options moving forward. Throughout the entire project, my husband and I were at ease, knowing that we hired the right crew for the job. Now that it is finished, we are the envy of the neighborhood! Daily, we get compliments on how gorgeous our home looks! The color is beautiful, the texture and detail are perfect and, structurally, everything is now properly flashed and protected from moisture. I dont have enough good things to say about this Monarch crew and would highly recommend Monarchs stucco division to anyone looking for stucco repair or improvement projects!

In June 2016, we had a nasty hail storm that ruined our roof and several windows. We then got the onslaught of roofing companies asking us to pick them to repair our house. We went with Monarch Roofing because they seemed to know what they were doing, were local, and could do a lot more work than replace our roof. They did a great job on our roof... but the construction process was quite dangerous.... pitch forks flying off roofs, debri, and all sorts of stuff that scared the daylights out of you if you would step outside the house. We also had Monarch complete a large interior painting job for us. Their painters were extremely customer friendly... they way underbid this part of the job, but they stuck with it. That speaks to the integrity of this company. In addition to the painting, we had other odd jobs that we wanted them to do... re-carpet and paint a room; repair our deck; paint our fence and deck due to hail damage; replace garage doors due to hail damage; and a few other odds and ends. The window replacements were painful for us. They hired a window contractor and it took them 6-months to measure the windows... and additional two months to install them; and then they got it wrong, so had to go through a second phase of window installs that took an additional 3-months. There are still a few punch list items they are wrapping up in a few weeks. It is now May 2017; and all projects are almost done. The work quality is good, but it seems like I had to be the project manager. They said they would do the project management, but the management and coordination seemed to fall on my shoulders. Monarchs project manager is actually a sales guy. I did not really interact with him during the entire year it took to do the work; and it was up to me to make sure the work was done, scheduled and inspected. Not what I had hoped for. The invoicing was also a mess. It seemed they did not keep track of what was done and what could be invoiced for, so they just kept sending me bills. When I asked for detail, I was denied. In short, Monarch has some great people doing the work for their company. The workers were friendly and professional. However, the management and administrative staff in this company is lacking.
