At first I had decided not to write any review and just leave it at that. I wasnt really satisfied with Integrity Roofing and Painting, but I didnt want to be like Ben Stiller in the movie, "Greenberg," where hes constantly filling out customer surveys and writing letters to companies hes dissatisfied with. And Ive sent my share of positive reviews as well so Im not just some curmudgeon looking for the bad in everything. Having said that, the last straw finally showed up when I had to go into the attic to check on the TV antenna. As I looked around and upwards, I noticed that the roofers had not completely cut away the tar paper over the square vent holes. In fact what they had done was either use their fist or foot to more-or-less kick through the square hole for the roof vent, rather than properly cut away the tar paper, which left the hole still obstructed by tar paper. You know, who does this? Are we in that much of hurry that we can take the extra 5 nanoseconds to properly install the vents and tar paper? This on top of the fact that during the "sales presentation," the rep talked about how important ventilation is and was trying to sell me on more vents. Really? How about we just properly install the existing vents? While I could go on with an extensive list of shortcomings, what would be the point? I mean would it be how the owner comes around boasting about how "good" things are going? Or if I mention how the issues the front man promised only barely came in under the wire. Or maybe how the Hispanic crew actually made derogatory remarks about me in Spanish and whoops, I speak fairly fluent Spanish. What would be the tipping point in a long list to make someone pass on this company? Well my gut told me to pass on this company but I didnt, darn it. They have plenty of good reviews out there and I cant for the life of me figure out why because no one who gets these results, would come to the conclusion that this was a good job or company. Unless its just a crap-shoot and you spin the big wheel to see what youll get. Your choice. Edit (Nov-2015) - What owner wouldnt get online to balk at a negative review. But I stand by my review 100%. Oversell, under deliver. Whether the reviews are being "padded" with extra one-time reviews is worth noting, since that behavior happens everywhere now days. Dont take my word, do your homework.

Predatory and Lazy Business Practices. After recent hail damage, I called Integrity Roofing for a quote based on their good reviews and good BBB standing. I was referred to a project manager who explained on the phone that his estimate would likely not be the lowest, but that he wouldnt cut corners on the job. I took this as a positive sign, since he was basically saying he wasnt going to underbid the job just to get the work and end up doing a poor job. So that’s a fair statement by him and I set up a time for an estimate. However, he insisted that I provide him with an insurance claim report and he stated his “estimate” would match or likely exceed whatever the insurance company had awarded, as though that is common practice. I asked him if he would just come out and give me an estimate based on his assessment of the damages without considering what insurance said. Frankly, it shouldn’t be his concern what insurance did or did not pay. I just want an objective estimate for my job and we can worry about insurance claims after. He tersely responded that Integrity Roofing doesn’t operate like that and then hung up on me mid-sentence. I know that after a hail storm many people need new roofs and it becomes a sellers market. And I think that is what is happening now. Rather than offering objective and honest estimates, Integrity Roofing is just "requiring" home owners to supply them with insurance claims and they are simply maxing out whatever insurance paid the customer, regardless of the actual damages or actual costs of repairs. They have enough business that they dont need to actually go out and give an objective estimate or compete with other companies. This is a semi-predatory and sloppy way of taking advantage of a market and it wasn’t appreciated. It leaves me, the customer, feeling like Integrity Roofing would be doing me a favor by taking the job rather than actually trying to work for my business. All I wanted was an honest estimate for doing my repairs and Integrity was not willing to do that. Since they handled it that way, they wont be receiving my business.

I live near Security area where we had horrible hail damage. I called Integrity to get an estimate and Vince came out to my property to look it over. He said that he could either write me an estimate or base the estimate on my insurance claim. There is no reason that they should not provide an estimate. We wanted three estimates that detailed the scope of work to be performed and the cost so that we could compare as you should always do when hiring a contractor and then we could choose (not necessarily the best price) but the best value for what we needed done. When I called him back to ask for the estimate, he said "we have so many projects going right now, that we are not doing estimates for anyone unless you turn over your insurance information and we can write the estimate based on your claim numbers". This is incredibly shady to me. There should be no reason for them to decline giving me an estimate for a re-roof. I will share my claim information with the contractor I choose to hire but for this company to even decline giving me an estimate without seeing the numbers on my claim is completely dishonest. Talk about zero transparency and honesty. I just cannot believe he said that. They wasted my time to come out and provide an estimate and then wouldnt give me one. Other roofing contractors I have called, said its no problem, they can give me an estimate and then if we decide to hire them, we can go over the claim info and get everything finalized in the agreement. Integrity is obviously lacking in Integrity because they wont tell you what your roof should cost to replace up front. Not until they see your insurance claim. I would never trust someone that does business that way and I work in the construction industry. That is why I am taking the time to write a review.

I called several local roofing companies. They all sent representatives to check the roof. One too a week to give an estimate. Of the two remaining, I felt the most trust (not just from the company name) from Integrity Roofing and Painting. They furnished samples of the shingles and explained in detail what to expect. They mentioned a code change for our altitude, over 7000 ft. and presented a very acceptable estimate. I visited their office in Monument and everyone there was quite pleasant. The roofing material showed up on time, the roofers came abruptly there after and in two days, I had a new roof complete with an upgrade to an Impact Resistant shingle (optional) which really improves the look. I have since mentioned it to others and when asked for a referral from friends or family, you can bet I will refer them to Integrity Roofing and Painting. HI THERE AGAIN ... Having a failed roof on my rental home in Colorado Springs, I remembered the great service I had experienced from Integrity Roofing and Painting on my Rancher in Latigo Trails. I called and Adam returned my call quickly. We set up an appointment and Adam gave a thorough investigation, of the situation. I was presented with a fitting estimate and offered IR upgrade as this would help insure a strengthened roof for many years. We were at a minor standstill as the Winter weather stayed on strong with several snows and bitter cold weather. We had a break and the roofing materials were delivered all went well and the roof was completed in one day. The painting of the exterior and new gutters were done in concert and now It looks like a new home. Thanks to Adam and all at Integrity Roofing and Painting. I know who to recommend and call on myself should the need arise. Sincerely, Phil Lasater
