Green Point roofing came to our house in April of 2016 to inspect our roof for replacement needs. Through their advice we called our insurance company who provided Green Point with an estimate and initial payment to start work on our roof. The advisor that helped us from Green Point had us sign a page that stated if you are going to proceed with the work, that they would be guaranteed the job. Knowing we wanted to have them perform the work, and in good faith, we signed the contract without realizing there was no written time frame for them to actually perform the work. Suddenly we found ourselves in a spot wondering when our roof would be installed and locked in to their company. There was a certain level of trust we put in this company and goodwill that was not returned. Our roof was installed 2 months later in June and we received a final bill for exactly what the insurance company estimated. I requested an line item invoice of the actual job total as the insurance estimate is never what the job actually costs and I felt like that was fishy. I requested a specific invoice for the job that was actually performed and was not able to be provided one by this company. I was not asking for anything other than the actual cost of the job including all labor, commission, materials, and any other costs (etc.) in order to see if the insurance company over paid or under paid and subsequently what we over paid or underpaid on our percentage based deductible. I will never do business with this company again and I will recommend that anyone that does decide to do business with this company ensure that they will not be paying more than the actual amount of the job performed. I see a greedy company that takes an independent adjusters estimate and charges full pop without consideration of errors, % added in to the estimate for "cuts" etc., or actual costs of the job in real world terms. I am dissatisfied with our roofing agent who missed an appointment with us because he "forgot" (was his answer) and I am dissatisfied with the reasonableness of charges and the way they were explained. To quote Homewyse, "Homewyse estimates the cost and labor for an asphalt roof for a 1,200 square foot house with a low slope at $3,000 to $4,100. A tile roof with the same dimensions may cost $7,500 to $9,300. Highly rated roofers tell us that asphalt is the most affordable roofing option, followed by wood, metal, tile and slate." For our 1000 sqft roof we were charged $6000 by this company for an asphalt composition. If I would be able to start over, or offer any advice to someone using this company, it would be to: Get multiple customer pay estimates, dont let the roofer ever see the insurance estimate, it is none of their business, and if the estimate falls below the roofers cost he quotes you directly, send in a supplement yourself, and make sure you are treated fairly.

I have had the pleasure to work with Scott and Green Point Roofing on two occasions over the past 4 years. The first time was due to a severe hail storm that damaged the home I was renting. Scott was able to help the homeowner get a claim filed immediately and met with the adjuster him self. Once the insurance company decided that the roof required a full replacement (as well as a good deal of work to siding/windows/porch etc) Scott got all the materials ordered and work began in less than a week and was completed promptly and professionally. The second time I enlisted Scott and Green Point was for the purchase of my first home. Upon inspection, the roof showed excessive wear and Scott was able to get in the lowest bid for replacement (among four other roofing companies the sellers received quotes from) while providing the highest grade shingle and underlayment materials. Again, the crew got the job on their schedule extremely quickly and completed the job on time and with no hassle. I highly recommend Green Point Roofing for ALL roofing work and everything else that may go along with a storm damaged home. And if you are looking to purchase a home call Scott for an inspection, Im thrilled to have a brand new roof on my new house to protect my investment. Thanks Again!

My rental property in Greeley was hit with hail this past summer. I called GreenPoint to see if they could send someone out to check on the damage. They did, free of charge, and informed me that it had considerable hail damage. All I had to do was file a claim and they did all the rest. Scott (the owner) was great and took care of everything, including meeting the insurance adjuster at my property, walking him around and making sure he didnt miss anything (he managed to identify a few smaller items that were damaged including gutters, shed, mailbox, siding - all of which the adjuster wouldve missed). They even upgraded me to a better roof! I was so happy with the work he and his crew did, that I had them repair another rental property roof, which they did quickly and very cost-effectively. These guys are honest, offer great customer service and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof. No wonder they have an A+ rating with the BBB!

When my house got destroyed by hail I was devastated. I met with Travis from Greenpoint Roofing and he reassured me that everything would be taken care of and I wouldnt have to do a thing. I have never had to deal with any type of insurance claim and was completely at a loss on what to do. Travis handled everything. He was there with me through the whole process. He met with my insurance adjuster to make sure everything was handled correctly and provided amazing customer service. My house is now completely redone from top to bottom. Greenpoint not only took care of my roof and gutters, but made sure my windows were replaced and my house and fence painted. I didnt have to lift a finger and felt included in the whole process. The company uses top of the line materials and my house looks brand new. I cant thank them enough for time and effort they put into my claim.

Outstanding job from Scott, Brian, and Team. This company has everything you want in a roofing contractor: they only use high quality materials (not the cheapest available like other companies) they have a dedicated crew of experienced installers (not a revolving door of mystery crews like other companies), they are on time for appointments, installation was completed on time, pricing was fair, they worked with my insurance company, and they stand behind their work. This experience was the complete opposite of what I experienced when I used CJ Roofing for the previous roof installation on the same property. Had I chosen a better contractor back then, I wouldnt have had to replace the roof only 10 years later. Bottom line, if you go with GreenPoint youll have a lot less stress and hassle and you can be confident your roof is going to look great and last a very long time.

Green Point Roofing noticed we had lost a great deal of shingles off of our roof after high winds. They did all our leg work by contacting our Insurance company and spoke with one of the representatives to assist us in getting an estimate for replacement of our roof. Shandy, GreenPoint representative, went above and beyond in securing the estimate, getting everything ordered and our roof replaced in 7 hours. Thats tearing off all the old and replacing with new shingles. They also replaced some of our vents. We were totally impressed with the professionalism and the speediness of their work. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.
