The Sales guy, David May, has been great and has communicated everything and every step. Even though he has moved on to another roofing company he still is helping us. He said himself that he was surprised that this whole process isnt over. Its been months and the whole job still isnt complete. Our insurance company is paying for a new roof, gutters and sky lights. Roofing: After about a month wait the roof was finally put on. Gutters: A while after the roof was completed the gutter crew came out (2 guys) on 4th of July weekend. When the 2 showed up, not Larry but the other guy asked if he could go camping and finish the job on Monday. I told him no because weve been waiting so long already. I later left to go to HD and My wife comes home minutes after. I get a call from my wife while at HD and the guy had the nerve to ask my wife, after i told him no, if he could come back and finish the job on Monday. I called Fran and explained all this and she got it squared away. I get home and start my painiting project while Larry worked and the other guy slept in the truck and on our neighbors grass. The guy who slept the whole time asked if he could dump out some liquid in a water bottle. I asked what that liquid was and he said it was pee. He ended up dumping it on my neighbors property, which they saw and asked about the contents the next day. At the end of the day they got about 80% of the gutters done. Some down spouts and a corner needed to be completed. They said they would com back Monday. They came back and finished up the corner but left 2 down spouts incomplete. Till this day, 7/28/2015 I have no sky lights & 2 down spouts are not completed. I get the run around from Brett, the GM, everytime I call in. He seems to blame all miscommunications on me and does not return calls. He talks back to me like Im some little kid. When I brought up the pee incident he said that they do not disclose internal discipline actions to customers. I get that and neither would I, but I never asked once about the disciplinary actions they took upon that employee. I was simply telling him the story. I feel he doesnt want to listen to the customer. True Customer Service is a lost art. These guys do not have it, for sure. Little does this company know about the power of social media and how the experience of their customers will be heard and passed on. I plan to contact the BBB as we have documentation and witnesses to account for this. I also plan to post in other places as well. ********WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!******A few neighbors asked about our roof and who put it on. They have the same insurance as me. I told them who and strongly advised them to go with any other company. I provided them David Mays new company that hes with and gave them his busniess cards. All in all this has been a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I am going to post this experience on SouthGlens neighborhood social media site and as many as I can. Hopefully the owner of this company contacts me. If you dont know who I am, ask Brett, he knows. I will post a follow up on this after everything has been completed. *********MORE TO COME*******

I recently contracted Interstate to replace my roof, gutters, and top trim boards. I used them based mostly on the good reviews found here. I was quoted 3 weeks initially, but once I decided to go with them, it became closer to 6 weeks. They came back and offered a warranty to move me to the front of the line for $400, guaranteeing 1 week completion, but 2 weeks later, it still is not complete, and they are estimating 1-2 weeks more. They had an out-of-state company do the trim boards, quoting a few hundred bucks to replace them all, but after doing 1/2 of them, they are over $1200, and cant complete them. They say they are custom made and have grooves, but others have told me that ALL top trim boards have grooves like that, and it is simple and standard to replace. They now are angled, out at the bottom, and have had a TON of caulk used on them to fill in the gaps. They have completed the roof on the home itself, but the patio portion attached to the home which was previously one seemless shingled roof with the home, was replaced with rolled roofing. This was never indicated at the time we contracted. They say this is due to the slope, but every other home in the neighborhood has shingles over all of it, and it looks much nicer that way. After the fact it is easy to say anything, but knowing before would have been nice. The shed was also quoted to be done at the time of the roof, but it was not, and now will have to be re-scheduled at a later date. The roof itself looks pretty nice, but the old boards and gutters are still in the yard. They finished at 8pm (dark) so most of the debris was simply blown through the yard and the garage and we had to clean it up ourselves. A week later we are still picking up shingle pieces, nails, and plastic. Im holding out that they will complete the job eventually, but with all the issues taken as a whole, it seems like used car salesmen saying whatever they have to in order to get the job, then not caring about performing on time or doing quality work. Just want to make sure others have my experience to go by should they choose to use them.

I recently had them replace my roof. Les Robinson was my contractor and he lied from the beginning of the process about everything. Les said they would have my roof done in 1 day, at the end of that day he didnt know that it wasnt complete. They messed up my satellite dish so bad that I had to have a contractor come out twice the fix the dish. They left about 1000 nails and tons of debris in my garage. Everything was covered by a thick layer of dust. They misquoted the roof price by $1000.00 because they quoted it differently then the rest of the roof, without the plywood. They didnt notice until they pulled it up, so I had to pay $1000.00 extra. He called and threatened me on the phone. After several conversations about be paid promptly after the inspection. He said they had inspected but "they just forgot to sign the permit". He said I should call the city and verify the inspection myself. I called and they said they had not inspected and that it would be inspected in 8-12 weeks. When I left him a message telling him this he flipped out. I think he was drunk and needed the money really badly. Now Im scared that he is going to come by the house. Going to have to call the police. Do not go with this guy!!!!!
