My experience with premier roofing was not a positive one, However the representative that I worked with was always polite. This was an insurance claim paying for my roof. To start out I was told it would take anywhere from 5-7 weeks(which is fine because I was wanting it done before winter) for them to come do my roof. Three months later they came and started my roof(in winter time). It took them two days to strip my roof and replace it. I say this because every other house in my neighborhood also had to get new roofs and they chose other companies. For the other companies it took one day to strip the roof of old material and replace with the new shingles. During the over night when my roof was somewhat exposed(tar paper applied), the wind picked up and ripped off quite a bit of the tar paper(luckily it did not rain), and also threw some of the new shingles to the ground, damaging them. The next day they came and hopefully fixed all the material that had ripped off and finished the roof. They even used the damaged shingles, making the roof almost look worse than the one it replaced. They also replaced my roof vents due to the hail damage, however the new ones they used look like they had been dragged around and were in worse shape than the old ones. They stated they wouldnt leave a mess behind and cleaned up with the best. This I due not find true. There were nails everywhere, along with scraps of old tar paper and shingles. I thought I had cleaned up most of the debris in the days to follow, then the rainy season came and it seemed like every time it rained more and more debris and nails came out of the gutters. The bill came to quite a bit more than what I had originally agreed upon, however this had been worked out through the insurance company. They started bugging me for the rest of the payment(most was paid upfront) the day they were done. This was before the permit was even inspected and signed off. The week after I paid I had one of the installers come and say he needed to replace something on the roof(I believe it was a vent). So in all I would not recommend this company. They started the project late, took longer to finish the project than any other company, overcharged, didnt do good work, did not clean up after themselves, and still had things to finish(replace) when they said they were done.

Premier Roofing did such a great job, even our Aurora roofing inspector mentioned it to us. Best of all: NO INSURANCE SCAM!! Jeff did not offer to up the estimate in order to give us money back. We are honest people who prize integrity over all. We appreciated the fact that Premier Roofing did not do the typical "wink wink" like other roofers. Would $500 or a free deductible be nice? Sure, but how you get approached by a business says a lot about how they will treat you. Were they the cheapest, no. Not the most expensive either. You get what you pay for and only a fool would risk damaging most peoples major financial investment. Premier Roofing was integrity from Day One. Every summer the roofing contractors came out in droves. Every weekend we were visited by guys with clipboards and we got adept at shooing them away. It was different with Jeff Meyer, who ultimately became our Premier Field Supervisor and contact. Jeff approached my mom in a respectful manner and offered to check on our roof and email photos. Much to our surprise Jeff told us that our roof did not need to be repaired. **SHOCK** What? A roofer who said we did not need an immediate replacement. We kept the information to the side, along with the photos he promised us via email. Flash forward one year....hail and storm damage. We needed a new roof. We checked out review for Premier and were impressed. We called Jeff. He met us on time at Panera Bread, explained our options, and how to work with the insurance company. He did not talk down to us (2 women) nor give us the salesmans bum rush. When he presented the contracts, Jeff clearly outlined everything and made sure that we had time to read for ourselves. He lived up to every promise made and exceeded our expectations. Jeff Meyer is a top-notch professional and we would work with him again with zero reservations! Long story short...Premier arrived on the day they said. The did it in a day and cleaned up afterwards. The skylights were properly attended to, so no leaks. No damage to our home or driveway. They put a new roof on the shed that is part of the insurance. The color that Jeff recommended will allow us flexibility in choosing a new paint color. Overall, I cannot recommend this company enough. Integrity and good work!

Nick Inglett was the representative I dealt with. Met him at my damaged house (which I rent out); he was one hour and 15 minutes late arriving (I had to call him after 30 minutes, he had gotten busy and forgotten our meeting). He went over the estimate and contract and explained all the paperwork to my satisfaction. He told me they would do the best job possible, negotiating with the insurance company to make sure everything was done to code and all possible upgrades would be done. Then he had me pick out the shingles, sign the contract, and told me they would start in 4-6 weeks, weather permitting. This was the 3rd week of September. When I didnt hear from him by the middle of November, I called him and asked when work would begin. He told me the first week of December. When I called him the 2nd week of December, he told me we were on the "top page" of jobs that were being scheduled, and they just had to work down the page. Middle of January I got a call reminding me to notify the tenants what would be happening and how to prepare inside and outside for all possibilities. Second week of February I got a call asking if they could shovel the snow off the roof, for the shingles would be arriving that week. The following week I received a call telling me they would start later the next day and be done installing the new roof the day after. Never heard another word from them until I received my first bill. My property manager verified the roof was installed the 3rd week of February, 5 months after I signed the contract. The roof is nice, but the communication and time to installation were poorly managed. Bob McGraw Durango, CO job # DEN-8744 representative Nick Inglett

This is a really long story that was never posted to Google. I took the initial post down in respect to the company as I was waiting for a meeting with the owner after he read my review and called me directly regarding it. My rating was 1 star. If I could have made it a 0 or negative number, I would have at that time. I have met with the owner, Chris Tulp. My initial impression of Mr. Tulp on the phone was not favorable. However, after having met him in person, my impression improved somewhat for the company and even more so for Mr. Tulp. While many things were ultimately addressed and I have a better understanding of things since I met with Mr. Tulp, it is unfortunate that I had to go this far with regard to getting to a final solution. Having gone through what I have to get my roof repaired by Premier, I would choose another company to do it in the future. Without getting into lots of details, my initial post was 9 pages long regarding Premier Roofing, do yourself a favor and work with a company that does an estimate on the damage/value of the repair. This will make your life as the consumer much easier...not to mention not having to play middle man with the insurance company. Every company in any industry has a bad performance/experience somewhere along the line. I guess I am that person. Maybe your experience will be better. There are a lot of 5 star ratings from other consumers. You might be the next.
