The fact I even have to give 1 star pisses me TF off!!!! My family just moved back to Thornton from Arvada. I ordered 2 backbacks from a company in NJ. It has taken them 3 weeks to get here. Only for the the mail carrier to be too F****** lazy to carry the box to my door, and instead slips an attempted delivery notice in my mail box. I HAD SOMEONE WAITING ALL DAY for that box to come in! He didnt even attempt to carry the box to my door, didnt even knock, nothing! When my husband took the slip to the post office the postal worker wouldnt give him our box. 1 because it was in my name, 2 because his DL doesnt have our new current address on it.... He also said I wouldnt be able to pick the box up if the current address isnt on my ID... We JUST moved there! So the worker tells my husband they can schedule a re-delivery for today... FINE!!! AGAIN, IVE HAD SOMEONE WAITING THERE ALL F****** DAY!!! This time my father-in-law greeted the lazy a$$ mail carrier at the door. And guess what?!?! SUPRISE!!!!!! NO F******BOX!!! My father-in-law asks him you dont have a box??? And the carrier says nope no box!!!! ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME?!?! How hard is it to deliver a F****** box?!?! You MotherF****** get paid good money to do a F****** job!!!! Ive been waiting on this box for weeks!!! Some damn backpacks for my kids as a surprise and school started weeks ago!!!!!!!!!! So now I have to worry about if my kids backbacks that I paid $170 for are going to get sent back to NEW JERSEY!! All because you guys are a bunch of lazy A$$holes that dont want to do your cushy government job!!! OOH AND OF COURSE you dont answer when I call the main number. It just rings until you get a busy signal. Then if you call the 1-800 number you can wait no less than 40 minutes for you to even get through to a human. Just for them to tell you they can schedule a redelivery.... For what?!?! SO the Fat lazy A$$ mair carrier can NOT deliver my box!!! You by far have the worst customer service ever and are a bunch of A$$holes!!! DO YOUR F****** JOBS!!!!

If I could, I wouldnt rate NOT EVEN 1 STAR! This post office is HORRIBLE! The WORST customer service I have ever received! Very rude and impolite employees! There phone is always busy for hours or no one answers! And anytime I go in, it takes forever because of how incompetent these people are! They never try to resolve any issues and Ive gotten hung up on twice when I finally get through trying to find where my package went! The lady on the phone just says she cant help me and hangs up without hearing me explain anything! We also just got ANOTHER package delivered to our residence that isnt even our address! Its a very large heavy box about 45 pounds and Im pregnant and cant move it! I called today to try to explain this issue and the lady told me there is NOTHING they can do and I have to figure out a way to bring it in myself or she even told me to throw it away!?? That shows absolutely no CONSIDERATION for myself or for the person this box belongs too! Now Im wondering if this is exactly what happened to my two missing packages!? Seriously, they should just close this location down or get a completely new staff! Worst post office I have ever had to deal with in the whole State of COLORADO! I would advice everyone to stay away from this location!!!

i ordered something but failed to put the Apartment number (as it happens to everyone once in a while). Any who, called the Post Office to see if it was still there that way id stop by after work and pick it up, but the lady got back on the phone and told me it had already been sent back to the sender because there was no apartment number. She shouldve left it at that, but instead she kept telling me to use an apartment number, and how it helps the deliveries go out w/an apartment number, how the drivers dont know who lives where, and so on......pretty much making me feel stupid for this one time that i forgot to put my apartment number. (this happened 10minutes ago 12/11/15) About a month ago; i also had another incident w/them. once again had something delivered, but this time it went straight to the Post Office rather than to my home. Anyways, i went to go pick up my package & the asian lady who helped me out this day couldnt find my package & had such a sour face when looking for my package. at one point she looked at me w/kind of a mean muggin look and asked me if i was sure i had ordered it. (like if i wasnt sure of my own purchases) This Post Office is very RUDE!

Worst post office ever!! I hate dealing with them. I will go out of my way to avoid this office in particular, but because they deliver my mail (sometimes), when they arent delivering my mail to my neighbor or losing it, I have to deal with them. They currently are holding a smart post package "hostage" because it is assumed I can come pick it up, and that I only know because of the generic email that I received, that they refuse to deliver it. I cannot go pick it up because they close at 5, and most people, including myself, work until 5 or later. I have called so many times I have lost count, to which no one ever answers the phone. If my office sucked that bad, I wouldnt answer the phone either. This package isnt even special, it has no huge monetary value, and required no signature. I wasnt home when it was delivered and had a mail hold put on while I was gone on vacation. The rest of my mail has been delivered but for some reason, they wont deliver this one. I hope you are listening Thornton USPS, but I truly doubt you are! It would be great if we could get an upgrade like the neighboring post office that I go out of my way to visit to avoid going to this one.

This place does not even deserve one star. Its a long story but my mail man is super afraid of dogs. I have tried working with him and doing every thing he has asked. He was not delivering my mail whenever he felt threatened by my dogs. One day I caught him trying to enter my house and my dogs were going crazy. I tried to talk with him about the problems we have had with him. He just yelled at me. He was yelling so loud my neighbors all came out to see what was going on. I talked to the supervisor and she said she would talk to the mail man. She never did. The supervisor made me come down to sign a paper saying I would confine my dog and make sure my doors were locked; for the mail mans safety. I signed it and she said I would start getting my mail again. Only I havent gotten any of my mail at all. I watch my mail man walk right by my house everyday. I have done everything they have asked me to do and they still wont deliver my mail.

wow, I cant believe some people hate their life and job so much!! I called this usps this morning and asked a few simple questions. The lady that answered the phone either sounded like she hated life. She was very short with me, didnt seem to want to help me and just seemed like a really negative person. If you dont like your job, find something else! There are so many people unemployed that cannot find jobs that would love your job! Its pathetic that you go to work everyday and act like you do, when you should be going to work and appreciate what you have. I dont love my job, but I go to work everyday with a smile on my face appreciative that I have a job! Im not sure what this should do since you really cant choose who you use for your mail, but the usps should really look at who they are hiring. Give someone this persons job, AKA the supervisor she said she was, who will appreciate it and act descent to people...thank you
