I have lived in the area for a year and in the Broomfield P.O. area for three months. I have visited this branch a total of three times so far. My first two visits were to ship packages from the customer service counter and my third visit was after hours to drop off outgoing letters from inside the lobby; conditions were consistent each visit. The parking lot provided ample parking and was clean, as was the buildings exterior and entryway. The lobby was not well maintained. The Priority and Express Mail shipping centers were very poorly stocked, almost completely empty, and what scraps remained were scattered around contributing to the lobbys general state of disarray.ADVISE: do not go unprepared to this location and expect free Priority or Express Mail materials to be readily available as they should be. Customer service was good; clerks were polite and helpful. My father retired after 28 years as a postal clerk, so I know how hectic it can be and that is why my review is honest and fair. Our postal carrier situation is very bad. We live in a nice apt. community where we have to pay a little more for good service and nice amenities. However, the common citizen cannot pay a little more for better, more efficient, dependable government services. We have twice received "sorry we missed you" notices (although they do not actually attempt to deliver packages to doorstep) instructing us to retrieve our package from the leasing office...where there is no package. We have what seem like enough larger parcel lockers (12 I think) to accommodate larger items or we should expect them delivered to office. However, on one occasion recently a small flat rate padded priority envelope forced into a semi-circle shape and forcefully stuffed into our regular box! The item was a gift to my teen from her only surviving grandmother; collectors paperback animated series as thick as half a phone book that is now permanently creased where the pages were bent near spine and shows scrapes on some edges where the packaging tore during the forceful fit. I dont know if that was ignorance or laziness, but it was definitely a thoughtless choice made by the carrier. My husband has been back and forth regarding our missing packages issue for weeks on end, but we are essentially getting the S.O.L. because there was no tracking information. ADVICE: use (at very least the cheapest) delivery confirmation (85cents?) or signature return receipt, certified when shipping with USPS. And good luck!

I would like to thank the lazy postal worker on 1/17/2017 that didnt want to get out of his truck and drove down the sidewalk with one wheel in the gutter splashing snow and ice all over the sidewalk. It refroze and is now a frozen mess. Of course it is the side facing north and will not melt until March. The street is dry! And what really grinds my gears is I always shovel a path from the dry street to the mailbox so they dont have to wade through a snowbank to get to my mailbox. And that path was filled in when you pulled your truck off the sidewalk! You obviously were not our regular mail person as she never does that to us! On top of that you didnt deliver the package I ordered from Amazon and I was home at 6:23pm although you said you attempted delivery! What a mistake Amazon made when they partnered up with USPS as this is the 3rd time you have done this to me. Get it together!!

This post office is a drag. The staff have absolutely no sense of urgency. Multiple times Ive stood in line for over 45 minutes because only one clerk is operating a station. There are others employees moving about behind them, but they NEVER open up another terminal to get things moving. When Ive finally made it to the counter, they move like molasses. Its extremely frustrating. There is one lady that is especially bad. If I see her when I walk in, I know Im in for a long wait. Shes also quiet and difficult to understand because of her accent. Further, as others have stated, they often do not have priority/priority express materials readily available or stocked. You have to be an ass, jump the line, and interrupt the lone clerk slowly "helping" someone just to get an envelope. My advice. Go to another location if you can.

They have 3 people working in the back. One person pushes a cart as slowly as they possibly can from the back to the front while there is a line of 10 customers waiting for service. Out of the four employees working at that time, they only have one person dealing with customers and her English can be hard to understand at times. I dont understand why they cannot have their employees deal with customers first and finish their other work during slow times in the day after customers have been served. If you need to drop off packages for work literally go anywhere else. This place is terrible!

I am utterly DISGUSTED in this post office!!!! Their service used to be extremely sophisicated and pleasant, until they hired a bunch of uneducated, illiterate, YOUNG, deliver boys to work for them--who however already LOST THREE of my packages, which was suppose to be deliver at my business 1 week prior to the lost!!!! SO UN PROFESSIONAL, and un necessary!!!! NEVER will I EVER use their business AGAIN! Third times the charm, and they definitely charm me to the point where I wont EVER have my packages deliver to their facility AGAIN!

This is our post office, and Im glad to call it so. Weve been coming here regularly for about five years now, and I know the clerks well and consider them to be friends. Were on a first-name basis. They are kind and funny, as well as being respectful and helpful. Theyve always bent over backwards to make sure I have a positive experience there every single time I go. Im sorry for any who have had trouble with this post office, but to us it is a quiet, convenient, and friendly place to send out and receive our mail. Thank you!

The mail lady with pink hair is rude and never does her job right. Shes delivered my packages more than once to the wrong people then straight up said to my face it wasnt her who did it. She also delivers to my job and on numerous occasions she will drop the mail off, walk to the back mail room and clearly see there is a lot of mail and hurry and walk out before we see she never even took it. Then when we call for her to come back and get it, she says she will and never does. In my opinion this lady needs to be fired.

This usps store was incredibly slow and unhelpful when asked questions about buying boxes to ship in and are very rude. Also, if you wait to box your package when youre there they do not provide any tape or anything, you have to buy it at an extremely marked up price, unlike some places like fedex. My piece if advice: if you can, save yourself a hassle and not have to deal with rude employees and just go to FedEx instead. Its worth the couple dollars more to ship. In the end I payed a lot more here anyway.

This post office was clean, organized, and had a plethora of good packaging supplies. As for customer service the lady at the front counter was the only one when I went but I only waited for about 8 minutes which is no big deal, and she was very helpful, nice and answered all of my questions in detail. I think its the best one Ive ever been to. Im sure during busy times its a longer wait, but thats why I dont go during lunch, right before work or after work hours when its crazy.
