We go to this branch an average of one time every business day, and are so thankful to have this post office in Evergreen. Our packages are always sent quickly and efficiently. We consistently saw these employees working extremely hard during the busy season in November, December, and even well into January. In addition, we have only seen the automated postal machine be unavailable once in the past six months, which is 100x better than the machines where we previously lived. Some branches still dont even have the automated machines, which is unfortunate. I dont always agree with how little the US government funds these offices, or some of the customer-unfriendly policies of the USPS, like how difficult/impossible it is to get even the smallest insurance claim approved for a damaged & insured item (long story...). However, the staff here seems to be doing a fine job with very limited resources, and they cant control USPS policy. They are simply trying to do their jobs day after day. It is a shame that more people arent thankful for our infrastructure in the United States and how well it can work when we all support our basic services. Some people do not understand why all citizens need basic services like the USPS, which we have enjoyed for more than 200 years. We should work to improve it, not tear it apart.

We have lived at the same address for 10 years. About every 2 years or so, this Post Office decides to change our address - yes - actually change the street name of our house. They state they have no way to do that but in talking with the County Clerk they confirmed that the address the Post Office is changing it to isnt even a valid address. The property hasnt been sold in 10 years so there would be no change of address even being processed. They also seem to be unable to deliver mail to anyone other than the main name on the house. Again, I have called probably in excess of 20 times in the last 10 years and most recently today to resolve. Lets see how many more car titles, refund checks, passports, etc. get returned to Sender. This is beyond ridiculous to the point that I am concerned that our account is being sabotaged intentionally as paranoid as that sounds. If this was a business I would say avoid at all costs however this is unfortunately someone we have to deal with in order to get our mail.

Evergreen post office is the worst post office. I have lived here in Evervreen for 2t years. The women are so old and sour lm surprised they can wake up and function. I asked for a piece of scotch tape to tape a corner of a package being being mailed. Do you think the scroungy dogs could do that. Oh no, we dont have any, but you can purchase tape over there on the wall. Kiss my ass, your the worst. Also there so fat, and are really rude. They have 1 person working the counter at busy times. They are so worried about going to lunch. They should try exercise, or maybe present tbemselves in a manner thats pleasent. By god we the public are supposed to. Go on a diet, get your hair done and quit looking and acting like like hags. Gross, you stink. And so does Evergreen post office.

I dont usually leave reviews...but im going to have to. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced with a post office. We moved to evergreen and were receiving mail and packages. Then all of a sudden our packages werent being delivered anymore. Called and they said its because there were no residents living at the address....its funny how you WERE delivering our mail/ packages and then for some reason decided we werent living there on your own. First they tried to tell me that our address wasnt up to date...which i paid for it to be with confirmation from usps cutomer service. Then they even forwarded a package to an unknown forwarding address that even had usps customer service reps baffled by evergreens behavior. Still waiting on our package to come back from who knows where....

Boy that Greg guy with the silver hair and the backbrace is just a prick... Not only is he a prick he also is lazy, besides being lazy hes never late for his break time! Ive seen him countless times during the 12:00 lunch rush with alot of people coming in, just up and take his break... This guy is one of the reasons why USPS is losing money.. Greg can be seen at Evergreen Colorado post office.. I would sure like someone to evaluate his performance... Sneak up in there to watch him being useless... Incredible... EVALUATION NEEDED!

Horrible Employees, watch out for "Crazy Connie". She babbles under her breath, sticks her nose in other peoples business, and is basically worthless. Did I mention these idiots take there government mandated breaks when the place has customers lined up out the door. Absolutely worthless. No wonder the postal service is going broke. Lose the worthless Employees and replace them with machines and computers. At least machines and computers cant whine and complain.

There was a check mailed to me from Denver to Evergreen last Friday -- as in LEFT on Friday. It is now Wednesday, the mail has come and gone, and no check for me. Ive heard similar complaints from my neighbors up on Mariposa. What is the deal with mail taking so long? Ive been waiting so long that my job has issued a check for the next pay cycle. Im currently in financial turmoil because I cannot get my checks in the bank.

I see much negative reviews on this post, which is contrary to my own experience at the Evergreen Post Office. They are Government employees, but hey, what do you expect? In the most part have always found them to be responsive and knowledgeable. TG they have never lost any of my mail (!) and the pricing is reasonable compared to the major courier firms.

Worst post Office in the USA ,terrible service , Hope they shut it down and we can go with fed-x and UPS at least they deliver their packages . post master hides in a back room and never comes out to help even if 50 people in line and one or two agents working and will do nothing about their contract mail man not delivering the mail.

Horrid. In the 1.5 yrs Ive lived here & filled out a stop mail form (7X), theyve NEVER, ever delivered the mail to me on the correct day, sometimes 2-3 days later or asked me to "come get it." JUST AWFUL!!!
