Worst post office in Denver metro! If there was a way to give them negative stars (yes, plural), Id gladly do so. For 5 years Ive been sending international packages via first class (since what I usually send are small packages with relatively cheap content for my nieces and nephews birthdays or Christmas) and never had an issue of them not receiving them. The first time I used this post office to ship my packages, the packages mysteriously disappeared and no one can tell me where they are or provide any information that could help track them. It has been over 4 months since I sent the packages and they are nowhere to be found... I called the main customer service desk and they told me that I should be able to get refund for the postage I paid since the packages were never delivered as long as I have my receipt. So I went back to the post office, with my receipt and told them what happened (for third time) but they absolutely did not care. They said that they are not going to refund the postage because they do not know if the packages were delivered. However, they cannot provide any evidence that they have sent them. The guy that I talked to (Michael) said that he doesnt have to prove anything. When I talked to customer service, the lady on the phone instructed me to ask them for application for refund, they not only were not able to give me a copy of the application, but did not even know what it was. I asked Michael to call customer service and help me figure out what the next step is then, he said that he is not going to do that because he "doesnt have to", great customer service huh??? The lady on the phone said that customer service would be happy to work with the people in the post office to sort things out but the people in this post office told me straight forward that they are not going to do that! Michael said that he has worked before as a window clerk and he knows that they dont have to give me refund on the postage (Im talking just postage, not refund for the content of the packages). They also refused to put anything in writing that he/they are refusing to refund my postage. If you know what you are talking about, why would you push back on such simple request??? At the end, he was " Yeah, we are not going to do anything on the matter and good luck!" Whats that supposed to mean, we lost your packages, we dont know what we are doing, and good luck figuring it out??? Ill never go to this post office again, even if my life depends on it!

This is by far the WORST POST OFFICE Ive ever experienced in my 50+ years. I routinely have packages lost or delivered to someone else, or the wrong key is put in the box, forcing my neighbors to either deliver the package to me or return it. Whenever I visit the post office, usually to get a pre-paid package scanned for a receipt, I wait 15-20 minutes. Even during the high volume, busy holidays, the line was out the door. But there were only 2 people behind the counter moving at a snails pace, chatting away about the weather, oblivious to the rest of us held hostage by their slow pace & and then one of the counter clerks decides to go on "break" leaving just one clerk with 12 customers standing in line!!! Give US a break! Noone cares. The most recent fiasco was an Amazon "Prime" package containing a Xmas gift scheduled for Christmas Eve delivery. Tracking had it "out for delivery" but then the status changed to undeliverable due to an "incorrect address" Amazon confirmed the address WAS correct. So, now the package is lost, calling USPS is futile since its a constant busy signal--the one you get when a phone is left off the hook--and a Xmas surprise was ruined. Management at this Ken Caryl post office is totally incompetent and despite all the poor reviews here over several years, nothing changes. Last year, just before Xmas, as I was driving home, I noticed a full bin of mail was strewn all over the street, presumably having fallen out the back of a USPS truck. I called the police (because its illegal for anyone to touch that mail) and then USPS, who knew what carrier was on that route. Im betting that carrier still has his or her job. I think people need to speak up. We rely on the postal service to deliver important documents and irreplaceable items, yet they dont seem to take responsibility for the critical work they perform--at least at THIS post office. Whenever I can, I now request delivery by UPS or FedEx, because its clear the management and carriers at this post office cant be trusted to care enough to do their jobs well.

I was at this post office location to send a small package off. I was deceived by the small number of cars in the parking lot and once inside I saw that there were already six people in line waiting for their turn at the counter. Of course there was only one person working the counter, isnt that how it always is, not enough people when the line is crazy? Well, that was just the beginning. The line continued to grow so much so that it became over double digits behind me. As the people stood in line, impatience ran wild. People said things under their breath or loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. I was frustrated but not so much so that I was going to be rude. The lady at the counter, April, was very efficient and worked hard to move each individual as quickly as she could, all the time with an incredibly pleasant disposition and smile. She treated each person with a kindness that she could have easily felt some of them didnt deserve. I wasnt the only one who noticed her generous love, those closest to me recognized it was genuine and it was clear she valued people. I felt bad that she was stuck in such an uncomfortable situation all by herself but she managed herself so well. Because of it, I try to head that way hoping maybe our paths will cross again. She has incredible people skills and is an asset to any work place.

This has to be one of the worst post offices in all of Colorado. I lost my mail key at the beginning of the summer, so I had to order a new one. I have now ordered a new one twice and both times they have lost my order, or my key. I now have been going to the post office to pick up my mail on a weekly bases, because they still have me on "hold" for a new key. Also with my mail being pulled, they still deliver my packages to my mail box, which I have no key for. So every time I get a package I must wait an extra 3 days to receive, or I must leave work early and post outside my mailbox until he gets there with my package. I am beyond enraged with this post office because they have been absolutely no help with my keys or the packages. I had a package delivered to my mail box Saturday, I went to the post office, to ask if was there but they said it was in the mailbox and would be at the post office Monday. Monday I go to the post office and they claim the package is still in the mail box. I tell them to bring back again. Monday night I leave work early because I MUST receive this package today, and I go sit outside my mail box, just for the delivery women to tell me its at the post office. You guys are the absolute worse, never lose your keys and never go through them for package, terrible customer service.
