USPS is a disgrace overall. The Highlands Ranch branch is no exception. If you have a job, not retired, or have a "life" do not even think of waiting in line at this sludge pit. The first priority of the branch is to screw the customer. The customer comes last. The lines are terrible. There could be 10-20 people in line, and only two attendants available. Oh, if an attendant walks away to the back while helping a customer, you better just do an about face and walk out the front door. I cant begin to tell you how many times, Ive stood in line and watched an attendant walk to the back and not reemerge for 15 minutes or so. If you forgot a pen to fill out a form or to just jot down a note, forget about it. There are no pens handy. No way, no how. Recently, Ive been receiving other local residents mail and they have been receiving mine. How hard is it to look at an address and read the number? This is not rocket science. I tried calling the HR branch today and I received the same nonsense as the previous reviewer. There were a bunch of rings and an automated message indicating a certain mailbox was full. More rings and an automated message indicating another mailbox was full. I finally gave up and called national customer service. Good luck.

Very poorly run post office - is anyone in charge, or responsible? I have had an employee openly hostile to me (and he threw a package that was clearly marked "Do Not Drop"), I guess because he was having to process a pile of packages at the drop off table, and it must have pissed him off that I was dropping off one more. I was there earlier today and there was no one at the counter despite 15 people in line - people were having to yell into the back repeatedly to try and get someones attention and service. And they want to raise prices for such poor service?! What is so frustrating is we know the bad employees are not held accountable for their crappy attitude or performance; despite horrible online reviews of this location there seems to be no effort to address the issues or improve the service; nobody ever gets fired; and we pay for this "service". I will drive further to avoid using this location.

Awful. The WORST post office I have ever had to deal with. I own a business and have sent out packages 3 times in the past month at the self service kiosk. Those packages have been delayed 2-3 weeks or just not delivered at all. Come to find out after opening a case, the packages never left the kiosk. Any time I go in, the employees are rude and I have to wait for extended periods of time regardless of the number of people in line. Ive tried to call several times to check on tracking for these delayed packages and they have never once answered the phone. Last week I went in and was quoted $13 to ship a package so I agreed to go ahead with it. 10 minutes later after measuring every corner, nook, and cranny, he prints out a label that had a $29 price. I asked if I could just go with the $13 shipping and he said no since he already printed out the label. Overall bad experience EVERY time I go in.

3/5 stars. Very little support if you have a lost package. Tracking showed "delivered" however no package was left in my mailbox. Went to the post office to inquire, was promised a call back from my mail carrier withing 24 hours, heard nothing back. After confronting the carrier at the mailboxes directly (he was evasive and unhelpful) my package magically appeared a day later. Do not pay for online address changes if you are moving, it is a waste of money. I paid for this service three weeks prior to my move, the carrier still did not have the information by the time I moved in. I give 3 stars only because most of my mail from around the country arrives within 3 days with Priority Mail service. The service is reliable, however customer service is terrible and the carriers (at least mine anyway) have zero empathy.

I had a great experience at the post office today thanks to Deborah and Soon. I went in to apply for a new passport for my daughter and met these two wonderful ladies ready to assist me through the process. I was missing the social security number, passport picture and my husband who needed to be present. Deborah stated that she had to leave, but will start the application process while I run to the Walgreens across the street and get pictures. She also stated when I get back either her or Soon will be able to help me. Once I came back with everything needed to complete the application, Soon was able to start were Deborah left off and completed the application. I will like to THANK Deborah and Soon for their outstanding costumer service.

Horrible experience with this post office. I shipped two textbooks, and both were lost. I had to wait until the buyers contacted me, a full month after I shipped them. I called the 1-800 number to file a claim, and was told Id be called within 1 business day. I didnt receive a call from either claim. I was told to call the Wyoming/ Colorado claim center, and had to wait 20 minutes to actually speak to someone there. They told me there was nothing I could do, they werent going to look for the books unless they were 1st editions or signed by the author. That means Im out $100 just because the post office does a lousy job. I definitely will not ever use the post office to ship a package again.

Horrible. Carrier refuses to get signature confirmation, when Im waiting for him at the front door!!! At first, just left packages in mailbox and tracking said "Left Notice". After complaining at least 10 times, John Douglas and a labor union guy comes to my house to hear me and confront the carrier. Not a week later, same damn thing from the same damn carrier. Now, carrier just leaves notice to pic up from post office. Craig, the carrier, refuses to come to door to get signature confirmation, John Douglas, his boss, refuses to do anything about it!! The Postal Service SUCKS!!!

Came in to ship a small package. 14 people in line ahead of me and theres 3 clerks. 2 more people get serviced, and 2 of the 3 clerks up and leave, and did not come back at all while i was there, knowing theres 13 people more in line, and more coming in. Seriously??? One clerk at a busy time ~2pm, and at a busy location. And no one replaced the two that left either. And since when you have to pay for packing tape? It was always there as part of supplies. Now they wanna charge 3.50 for a small roll of it. Ridiculous!!! And they complain that USPS is losing business.

Trying to get a passport updated. Reviewed phone tree recording and went to #2 as instructed. Indicated I needed to make an appointment for passports but did not give me a way to make an appointment. I selected the option for a service person and they told me you have to come into the office to make an appointment. GREAT! The passport work is only available from 10 AM to 4 PM and it is closed from 12 - 1 for lunch. So someone who works regular hours has to take off work twice, first to get the appointment and then again to come in for the appointment!!!!
