Ive been using General Muffler and Supply for parts and service for 30+ years now. They continue to be the only auto service company that I would rate as fair and honest. There not necessarily the cheapest guys around, but they never take advantage of their customers or attempt up-selling like most all their competitors. I recently brought in my 2009 Hyundai for an A/C recharge and since they believed the compressor had a leak (which they do not service), they referred me to the dealer and waived the diagnostic charges. Real stand-up guys that I would recommend to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

Best mechanics in the Valley for my money. They will never sell you more than what is necessary and the pricing is more than fair. A good mechanic is worth more than a good doctor (OK, not really), so if youre lucky enough to find one, you better not ever let them go. Plus, the place is stuck in an early 70s time-warp. I have only been here for emission testing. Every time I have been there, the staff has always been very courteous. An employee was putting a quart of oil in the car of an aged lady. Where can elderly or ill get help nowadays? Here. I believe the owners and staff of this business are good, decent people.

These guys, own their work. Had done break job at Sears and i would have to go back every year to get the brakes fixed. A friend recommended their place and I got it done through General muffler and auto. Its been 3 years, no issues. I give them all my business. Good workshops are hard to find.
