Well, what a place. I went for a tail light that had went out. After pulling apart my entire trunk the guy found out the harness to my brake light was bad and couldnt replace it, didnt charge me which is great (for a job that didnt get done). Why I give a 1 star is Ive never come across more unprofessional people in a business setting. I heard more cuss words in a 10 minute span from the mechanic than Ive ever heard in my life. Also witnessed him lie to someone who drove up for an oil change just because he wasnt in the mood to do it at the time. He also saw a woman and went on and on about how hot she was and the things he would do to her, too bad a real woman would never consider a scumbag like that. When he thought it was a bad bulb and not the harness he took out the replacement he installed and proceeded to smash it on the ground right behind my car where I would have to pull out over. Every worker that came out of the shop to take a look was as unprofessional as the last one, also goes to say they were pretty rude in the phone conversation I had with them prior to the visit, cutting me off with answers before I could even finish my question, should have known what I was getting into from that alone. I wouldnt recommend this to an enemy of mine let alone family and friends. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! If youve ever done anything sensible in your life you MUST HEED MY WARNING, I promise I will be doing you a service you dont even realize by taking my advice! If you dont care at all about your car or yourself than five them a try, aside from that avoid this place like its the plague. Cant wait to take a trip back to Naugatuck and see this place out of business, these guys deserve unemployment at best, not fit to be in the professional business world. Contemplated contact Meineke corporate about them but chances are the higher ups dont care anymore than these guys do, shame a place like this could even exist- makes every other mechanic seem like a dream come true and we all know how reliable some mechanics can be! If this place burnt to the ground the world would just be that much more of a better place, that is the absolute truth!

Omg was my visit amazing! Patrick the service manager, couldnt have been more knowledgeable, friendly, personable, professional, or better in any way. I needed brakes and oil change, he found a way to work in my budget, (and give me a lifetime warranty), and warned me of a few other routine maintenance issues Ill have to address soon, which I will be returning to him for. I even accidentally overpaid $40, and sat down, he called me right back up to the counter, counted it in front of me, and gave it back! (Most guys would have pocketed it) I highly recommend him and this location to anyone! Itll be my first call from now on for anything car svc related. Cheers to a job amazingly done! -Rob Anthony

My car didnt start this morning so I called and they were so kind. In the shop Patrick and Ernesto were so nice and Patrick explained everything fully. He gave us the best price he could and even called the Ford dealership to check if there were any recalls, wrote them down for us and explained everything. Honestly most shops I go to are a little rude or dont really feel like explaining what they are doing but they were very different! It honestly was a refreshing experience to have someone both care for its customers and my vehicle with such care and professionalism. Definitely will be back for my oil change and any other things I might need for my familys cars!

Ive been going to the Meineke shop in Naugatuck for about a year now and I find them to be very honest and trustworthy. They never push me into having unnecessary work done (like so many auto shops do!) and have even assured me when I thought I needed work done that I could wait a few more months if I was too early for scheduled maintenance. Patrick, the shops manager, is always courteous and it seems like he knows the names of all the customers that walk in there. He has always been respectful and polite. Because of the way they have taken care my car I always refer people to this shop. They provide great quality work at very fair prices.

I have had endless issues with meineke in new haven and Milford. However, at the Naugatuck location, Patrick has been amazing. He is very kind and actually shows you what is wrong with your car before fixing it. He also lets you know whatever else will need to be done in the near future. Usually when I get stuff fixed at other locations they are not done properly or something goes wrong (like my sway bar breaking from them doing my sway bar end links), but the Naugatuck location did such good work on my car. Im happy to have went there to have work done. Great job Patrick!!

Im from out of town, and I needed some work done on a vehicle. I spoke with a guy named Rob, and was blown away by how helpful, friendly and HONEST he was! Their price for the service was way more competitive than I could have found anywhere else. If I lived here, Id be coming back whenever I needed work done. Definitely go here.
