I just left the Hair Cuttery today with what is easily the worst haircut I have ever been given in my life. The woman that hacked my hair to pieces was called Debbie. I dont think Debbie has ever been trained in how to cut hair, as Ive received better harcuts from friends with clippers. I am a professional male that gets a simple buzz cut, which is probably the easiest haircut to give a guy. Nevertheless, Debbie failed miserably. She didnt clip the hair in straight lines, didnt use a comb once, and at certain times she was simply cutting away at stray hairs in what I can only surmise was her attempt at "styling" my hair. I was completely disgusted and will absolutely never go back to this place. After repeatedly telling her that she was cutting my hair wrong, I eventually told her that it looked fine just so I could get her away from my head. I promptly went to SuperCuts down the road in Putnam to get it fixed, and was told I was the fourth person to come in that day alone complaining about the awful hack jobs received at the Hair Cuttery. There is no excuse, and how this person is given a license to cut hair completely blows my mind. There are other stylists there that have done halfway decent jobs in the past, but Debbie was just completely inept, lacking even common sense or a basic knowledge of how to cut hair. Even if this review doesnt deter you from going to the Hair Cuttery, under no circumstances should you allow Debbie anywhere near your head. You will find yourself paying someone else to fix it, I promise you.

Made an appointment for a mens haircut, lady was nice on the phone, said 30 minutes. I arrived prior to the 30 minutes, checked in, and then waited 40 more minutes! No acknowledgement to the delay, no haircut for me. Not today, not ever again. I had figured that my long wait a few months ago was a fluke, I had made an appointment that evening as well, and had to watch as customers who clearly checked in after me, were helped first! I guess a perm or coloring will make the ladies more money, but truth be told, a 5 dollar tip after a 10 minute haircut that costs $18 to begin with, could make them $30 per hour in TIPS alone, if they were on top of their game. I will go to Putnam from now on, she cuts my hair in 5 minutes, the way I want, every time. I will also be telling every single person I know in the area to avoid this place! I should have listened to all the horrible reviews!!!!

I asked the hair stylist for a hair cut. I specified that I wanted a fade from a 2 to a 3 on the sides. The picture below is what I got. Im no hair stylist, however, I know this is not what I asked for. I have had a hair cut from here that I liked, but those have been few. I have been displeased with performance and lack of professionalism from Hair Cuttery too many times. I will not be returning.

Brought my son in for a "2 on the sides, longer on top and slightly longer in the front" and walked out with a full on buzz cut. She reiterated what I said and didnt ask any questions. I could have saved my time, gas money and $20 richer. Will never ever return.
