If you have a problem with your vehicle, the guys here are highly knowledgeable and honest. I am indebted the nice man at AS&S of Durham whom helped me with my break emergency. The breaks merely needed to be bled, and it was a quick job that took only ten minutes which I could not do myself. Marko, the founder, owner and operator (in business 40 years) took very good care of me, and helped me get back on the road. He didnt even want any money for what he had done, he only wanted to help me. I left with brakes, and a restored faith in humanity, as well as auto mechanic integrity. This is far more than I can say for the guys across the street at the brand new facility that wanted me to wait 2 days for the job to get done. Well, I have a flight to catch tomorrow, and Im kind of screwed without breaks in my car. They wouldnt help me when Marko made the effort to. Thank you so much AS&S!

Marko is one of a kind, the type of mechanic you need when something goes wrong with your car. He never wants to add extraneous services or use your ignorance against you, only get you back on the road with your car in great shape! My sister went there because of concerns with a noise her car was making, and although other mechanics had quoted her nearly 800 dollars for service, he quickly diagnosed the issue as harmless to the car and she walked away with peace of mind and no extra charges. Hes worked on my car several times, each time at much less than other mechanics have quoted and yet my car runs better every time he works on it. He will only fix what needs fixing and tell you exactly what you need done. Service has always been fast and reliable, no waiting around or appointments necessary. I cant say enough about this rare and wonderful mechanic. Highly recommended!

Jim has great knowledge and comes highly recommended by our family. Whether it is engine issues, changing tires over or emissions testing he does it all! Reasonable rates and courteous, what else can you ask for?
