Someone called to set up an appointment for 2 pm, but when we got there, the manager told us the shop was closed (even though the web site and the most recent mailing from them says it closes at 4). He said "corporate" made the appointment, and that he didnt have to honor it but he would to "accommodate" us. He was aggressive and rude, and his tone sounded like he was interrogating us throughout. He asked how our experience was, and my wife said we were unhappy with it. He demanded that we tell him what he did wrong, but then he said my feedback was "condescending, rude, and childish." When I said I didnt like his attitude, he raised his voice at us and stormed around until we left. He also said that hed been in business for 25 years and knew how to treat customers, but we witnessed him being unpleasant to another customer while we were there, too. He also tried to sell us new brakes, which the mechanic who worked on the car said we didnt need, and charged us $31 when the woman in the phone call said it would be $19.99 and so did the sign outside. (He dropped the price to $25.99 when I protested, but we didnt get an itemized receipt, so I have no idea whether the extra $6 was taxes and fees or something else.) We were loyal customers of the previous management for years (for oil changes), and weve never had a single complaint. But were not going back to this place, and weve already told everyone we could to avoid it, because I dont want anyone else having to suffer an experience like that.

As a former tech/shop manager here ( just quit today) I would never go here. The owner has absolutely no common sense when it comes to customers service. He over charges for parts almost 3 times what the part is worth. He disrespects his techs and managers, blames the slowing down of business on everyone but himself. He has no idea how to run this type of business. The owner is a scam artist and cant trust a thing he says. Also their warehouses that they get their parts from are Advanced Auto, Autozone, West Springfield auto parts, Napa, and auto parts international. Please use meineke as a last resort nothing else is open place... New day 11/20/2016. Roy Matthews the owner texts me threating something if I dont take down this post. Next step for me is to call their corporate office and report this harassment. Also might have to call local police department and make this a criminal matter there is no reason for them to be contacting me on my personal cell phone.. Im guessing they never heard of the 1st amendment.

I brought my car here after recently moving to the area, and they replaced two front ball joints, the serpentine belt, and changed the oil. Total bill: $700! They had called me up to tell me that the ball joints were $500, and I reluctantly agreed thinking there were 4 of them. They charged more than double the common price for all the parts, and charged the equivalent of 4 hours of labor (which as of 11/2007 was $88/hour) for a job that only took 2 hours from the time I gave them the OK to its completion. Im very unconvinced there was anything wrong with the ball joints to begin with (didnt solve my vibration problem). On the plus side, the guy at the counter was personable and they did the work quickly... Bottom line of my experience was I walked away feeling like I threw several hundred dollars in the trash. Labor rate is incredibly high even if they charge you fairly. Im never going back.

I brought my car here just for basic servicing , they called asked me to replace so many things i finally ended up paying them $ 700.00. They really charged me double for each parts and labor charges were also high. Next time i had emergency and i had to brought my car again( because it was the only one which was opened that time) again it was a minor fix he said he will call me he called then gave me estimation about 500 then i asked him to do nothing and leave as is. When i came back my car was not even starting properly beside i left it in running condition. Finally i had ask him to fix it and i again ended up paying 400 . Mechanic took less than 30 mins to fix the problem but he charged me labor $115 and of course parts price was more than double. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there...

Paid more than $850 for front and rear brake pads, rotors, and shoes. Within two months, while traveling out of town, there was loud front-end noise when driving at highway speed. It never occurred to me that it might be the brakes since they had just been replaced. I went to the dealership who diagnosed the problem as poor workmanship on the recent brake job. Ended up paying another $600 to correct a job poorly done. It was not an option to go back to Meinke and have them stand by their warranty since the car was already on the lift at the dealership. This Meinke should only be considered as very last resort and dont expect to receive a worthwhile warranty.

I will never go there!!! I recently went there for Brake pads and rotors change. The price they charged me was a little high as they told me that they will install the high end brands. But when the delivery guy delivered the parts, I noticed the parts are of normal brands. I checked for the price on my iphone and found that the parts are of less than half the price I paid for. Never ever Go there.

I recently had my car serviced at this meineke location and had a great experience. Service was prompt, well priced, and the owner made sure I was taken care of before I left. Definitely will go back to get my new tires, staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I will never go here again - I had all four of my brakes and routers replaced and when I was less than 5 miles down the road one of my tires was smoking. The customer service following was sub par at best.
