Staff is friendly and welcoming - greet me by my first name. Gym is kept clean and equipment is kept in good shape...quick to be fixed if there are any problems. They offer a variety of classes at different times to accommodate all schedules. I absolutely love the new Edge Strong Classes taught by the personal trainers. I usually attend the Exlusive class with Frankie Matos Thursday and Friday - always a great work out and pushes you to your limit. I also take advantage of the personal training. Dan Clifford has been my trainer for the past year and I have no complaints. He always listens to what your goals are and ensures that you work out every part of your body depending on what you worked on prior to your session. Every workout is a new one and he makes sure you do the exercises correctly so that you dont hurt yourself. I have learned so much and probably could completely work out on my own now but I dont because his workouts are so great! Ive been a member here for 2 years and could go to theTrumbull or Shelton locations which are actually closer to me but I always end up in Milford! Again because the staff is great and I feel welcome. Although the gym is the smallest out of all the locations...I think that is what makes is great - everyone knows who your are and the staff is approachable. I actually enjoy their equipment more than other gyms.

This gym has extremly friendly coaches and staff. I always feel welcome when i walk in the front door. Alsoo, the equipment is well maintained and the gym is overall very cleabn. Josh Ranciato especially has been a huge help amongst other trainers in the facility to help motivate me and keep me on track. Josh is very polite and takes the time to understand his clients personal needs. He has created personalized workouts to accomidate my sports injury amd is very knowlegable as far as how to help strenghthen and rehibilitate that injury. He has been a huge motivation and helping hand in this entire journey and i cant wait to continue to work with him (and his great head of hair and red beard) in the future!!

Great club, lots of classes, and equipment. Very friendly staff, and smoothie bar, which is great for something post late workout. I was a member of the Edge Strong, and had a personal trainer, which are great cross training classes taught by the trainers. Very affordable personal training, for 1 day a week. Dan Clifford, is a great trainer, listens to what areas you want to work on and creates whole body workouts for my 1 day a week training session. Taught me how to use equipment, so I can work out independently some days too. Highly recommend joining and consider signing up to train with Dan to get access to the edge strong classes.

At least at this location you can usually grab a treadmill or the stair master (unlike Stratford). But, it definitely needs a face lift like Stratford got. Comparing Milford to other locations, its just not as updated and nice. Doesnt have a big enough turf area to accommodate the members, the edge strong classes take up half the area, it doesnt have a cardio cinema, womens only area, or sauna. If it had all of that Id love going here over the other locations. However it could become just as packed as those after an overhaul. Hoping The Edge re-evaluates its membership structure to create some balance.

I have had Dan as a trainer twice a week for almost a year now and my experience has been great! The effect of regular exercise on someone with joint problems cannot be overstated. I would not have half the mobility I enjoy without Dan. He pushes me to work hard and is very encouraging, but also understanding of the health problems I have and sometimes modifies the exercises to lessen the impact on my bad knees. He is friendly and easy to talk to. He has been good about working around my schedule which gets hectic sometimes! He is reliable and professional and I highly recommend him.

Ive been attending The Edge for over a year and have been very satisfied since the day I joined. The entire staff is always welcoming and ready to provide a great experience while you are there. Personal training with Dan McDonald has been a very effective way to receive individual attention to map out a fitness plan and keep me on track to reach my fitness goals. From personal training, to group fitness classes, to spin classes, these have all been an important part of my experience and have helped me maintain a healthy active lifestyle.

Ive been going to The Edge in Milford for over 15 years. The staff is friendly and helpful. Always a welcome greeting from Jenn at the front desk! The equipment is clean and updated periodically. The clientele is a good mix of younger and older folks of all sizes and shapes. Ive been working with trainer Dan McDonald for the past year and he has been great pushing me to reach my goals. He tailors weekly routines to keep me on track. If you want to stay motivated and see results work with Dan McDonald.

Ive been a member of 3 Edge Fitness clubs, and I would recommend trainer Patrick P. from the Milford Edge out of anybody. Ive known Pat for many years, and if theres one thing I can say about him is that he knows strategically how to train for athletics, aestetichs, and for overall physical and mental health. The way he trains is what contributed to his success throughout his career in sports, and he will be sure to get the most out of you- as long as you are ready to put the work in!

Edge in Milford is awesome! Love the staff. They are friendly and always accommodating. I train with Frankie who does a tremendous job. He works with you and creates a program that really gets you to the goals you have set. He works around any medical or physical weaknesses you may have so that you can still train and push limits without creating any harm to existing weaknesses. In my case I have a bad knee and he tailors my training around that. Hes excellent at what he does!

Ive been going to The Edge in Milford since 2007 -- back then it was just during school breaks, but now that Ive committed to my fitness full time, I go 3-5 times a week. I feel supported in my fitness goals by The Edge staff and enjoy using the state-of-the-art equipment and attending a myriad of group classes. My current favorite Edge activity is attending the Edge Strong classes – small-group strength-based classes that have completely transformed my workouts and physique!

Best gym in Milford IMO. $20 a month, very well kept facility. Plenty of space in the machine, cardio, and free weight area. Many employees are very dedicated lifters themselves and keep the gym clean and organized. Dumbbells up to 120, 1 squat rack and 1 power rack, 4 flat bench press stations, a trap bar, 2 smith machines (lol), 4 places to do pullups... and of course plenty of room and other machines and adjustable benches etc.
