I had a good experience with their dry cleaning, but not their alterations. I was there to have jeans hemmed, and they assumed that I didnt want the original hem, as they did not ask if I wanted it (who doesnt want it?). It was my first time hemming jeans and in my opinion, the responsibility lies with the tailor to clarify the options with the customer. Then they lost/threw away the chopped off hem, leaving me with ruined jeans. Even so, they insisted that I pay for the full job and said "sue me". Later, they offered a 50% discount, which I accepted. They dont care and apparently will not treat you well if they make a mistake. They certainly did not correct their mistake properly. I dont recommend this place for alterations.

Over the last 10 years or more, I have found that these guys do a great job, very reliable. They will take extra care with deadlines or other special requests. I a puzzled about the previous reviewer who apparently believed that everyone would want scraps from shortening pants. Cant imagine it myself, although I confess to keeping lots of things - just in case they come in handy. Cat toy? Reverse the shortened pants in case I grow a few inches or wear elevator shoes? A piece to send to Mom so she can see what color my new jeans are? Make a trendy denim ring? Patch a future hole? I am stumped.

I have been using this cleaners for more than 10 years, and I can say they are one of the VERY BEST if no THE BEST in the area!. Being a Veteran of the military (Air Force) I have traveled and used many, many other cleaners, so I definitely have experiences to compare with. The customer service at Sylvan is courteous and professional, the quality of cleaning is second to none, and the prices are reasonable. They will also make every attempt to meet your short turn-around time requests. Highly recommend!

Have used them for both dry cleaning and alterations and the service has been amazing for both. I havent done much comparison to other cleaners in the area so they might be on the pricey side. Worth it for the quality!

The best cleaners around! I brought in some slacks that I spilled red wine on and they came out spotless! Never had better service. The customer service is excellent especially Fred the delivery driver.
