NEVER NEVER NEVER take your car to get repaired at Casale Assoc. Auto Body in Norwalk, CT (9 Van Zant St.). I honestly cannot imagine a more incompetent body shop, let alone a more incompetent body shop that "specializes" in BMWs. Do yourself a big favor and AVOID Casale Assoc. I made the HUGE mistake of taking my brand new 2011 BMW 328xi coupe there after someone reverse t-boned the drivers side in a parking garage. This happened less than three weeks after taking delivery. I took my new BMW to Casales because it was recommended by my dealership Continental BMW of Darien (Connecticut) - actually, now my former dealership - because Casales does all autobody and paintwork for BMW of Darien, and the work that Casale Assoc. did to my car was absolutely horrendous (grayish speckles in clear coat, inadeqaute paint matching, dirt specs in paint, paint specs all over the interior of my driver door, unclearcoated areas, paint clumps between quarterpanel and side skirt, driver window not operating properly, deep scratch in my sunroof, etc...). In fact the work was so horrendous after the first time that they had to repaint the entire drivers side of my car for a second time and correct all other issues they caused. The second attempt was almost as atrocious, and several of the problems caused by the first round of work (paint specs all over the interior of my driver door, paint clumps between quarterpanel and side skirt, driver window not operating properly, deep scratch in my sunroof, etc...) were not even corrected, SO Casales had to repaint my drivers side a THIRD time, and again correct all the other unaddressed issues caused from the first round of work. And the third time was AGAIN horrendous, including among other things that they actually used some sort of super glue or epoxy to glue down a piece of window trim, and even got the glue on the new paint job. I was also told by the owner John Casale that he did the third round of paint work and repairs personally. So apparently the owner attempted to fix my brand new BMW with glue, and he serioulsy thought that would be ok? SO THEN they had to repaint the drivers side of my car a FOURTH time. After the fourth round of paintwork my driver door locks and window were riddled with problems and it took BMW of Darien MONTHS to fix the all problems (the dealership had my car for almost a cumulative 60 days). Then just a couple months later, paint began chipping off my driver door when I touched the edge. Now I will be having my cars driver side repainted for a fifth time, this time out of my own pocket because there is no way I would ever take my BMW back to Casale Assoc. Any warranty or promises that they make about their work is garbage just like their quality standards. It seemed just as if my new BMW was the FIRST BMW that Casales had EVER repaired and painted, to say the least. It was obvious that Casales quality standards are a joke and based on my experience, they dont deserve to be in business, nevermind the business of repairing luxury cars. The work they did to my car was so disrespectful and absolutely disgraceful. Furthermore, my experience with Casales was so bad that Ive even split ties with Continental BMW of Darien for recommending them. I am personally 100% convinced that any positive reviews posted about Casales anywhere on the internet are from family or friends of the body shops owners because from what Ive seen this shop is incapable of doing any work that even the average person would consider adequate. Again, I urge you to avoid Casales Assoc. completely!! They claim to be a high-end body shop, but my experience demonstrated that they are nothing but bottom-of-the-barrel!! The only reason Im giving Casale Assoc one star is because I cant give them zero.

8:03 AM I was recommended by Volvo of Westport. My car needed a fender, signal light and a bumper all on the passengers front side of the car where my car got a very strong impact. The drivers side had zero body damaged only my signal light was broken and it was taped with packaging transparent tape, they charged the insurance almost $1900.00 from which only around $600.00 were parts, so after 7 days they called to informed that the car was ready. First thing next morning I picked up the car I checked the passenger side of the car which looked fine, drove home and notice that the drivers side of the fender is falling down and there was a big gap between the car and the front bumper I drove back to pointed out to them and they wanted $300.00 than after a few words down to $200.00 they were making the false claim that they found broken brackets from a previous accident which has never occur, an absurd excused not to finished what they have started, I pointed out that my front drivers side of the bumper was firm and undamaged when the car was dropped off, and at this precise moment a repair guy, a manager and the owner confronted me with either paying more money or to forget about it. I dont recommend this Phony place and Im wondering how come they sneak this poor craftsmanship on me by never warned me about the job being undone, they waited for me to find out the hard way a total fraud. Sure some people will disagree, even from manure beautiful flowers bloom. If you considering bringing you car here I completely not to recommend this place because it might happen to you the bad experienced I had.

I have used Casale Association Auto Body on NUMEROUS occasion, and never once has the quality been sub-par. The have fixed body damage on two of my personal vehicles plus some mechanical issues I was having with one of my work trucks. I have dealt with many shops over the years and have found that Casale gave me the MOST honest and fair prices also matching customer services and quality. I have just started a project motorcycle and would not intrust any other shop with the paint job for my bike. John and Bob have all been very helpful when I needed recommendations on other auto needs. It is nice to deal with a family local shop where you see the same faces over and over. I trust them and would not go to any other shop, my experiences with them have been excellent, I can not say enough good things about their shop, staff, and quality... They ARE the Best of the Best in the auto body industry.

These guys are great. They worked on my BMW after my son smacked it into a tree and the work was great. I thought for sure the car would never be right again but John and his crew were top notch. Paint came out like new from factory. I will always refer them
