I visited their body shop a couple of weeks back in Shelton, CT. I wanted an estimate to fix the damage to my van. I walked into your office to be received by no one. There were two ladies in the office, both on their computers, none greeted me nor looked at me. After waiting for about 10 seconds I said hello to one of the women, she didnt have the courtesy to greet a customer! She gave me a blank stare like I was a alien (coz Im not caucasian you see!). The same lady had time to walk her dog all around the parking lot but didnt have the time to say hello to a customer. I then requested for an estimate for my vehicle damage. One gentleman then came by with a pen and pad and walked to my SUV. He took a quick look and gave me the estimate. When I asked him for a written estimate he refused saying he had too much work to do. I appreciate his honesty but this is terrible customer service. I went to this body shop because I was recommended by a local car sales man to promote local business but if you continue this kind of terrible service then you will be left with no customers in a short span of time. I understand they must have been busy and could not have given an estimate at that point but from Customer Service 101 please learn to leave a good impression on a customer, be it any race/creed/color. The least they couldve done was to ask me to come another day to receive a formal written estimate. Im not sure if this email is going to reach the management or the same old rude folks at the office, but trust me with this kind of service they cant dream to expand and grow. I have had a terrible experience at this shop and will definitely not recommend it to anyone I come across.

July 13, 2017 Dear everyone at R & C: I picked up my 2013 Toyota Prius V yesterday after you brought it back to new from the back-end collision. Thank you so much for all the work you did! The paint is a perfect match. The entire process for me was very smooth. A representative from Enterprise was ready with a loaner car when I dropped off my car. The ladies in the front office were pleasant, and helpful. Everyone who worked on my car really made it look new again! When I picked it up, the car was spotless inside and out. And, yes, I noticed that someone even removed the dent from my license plate! I have already told my co-workers, friends, and relatives how pleased I am with your work. Thank you for a job well done! We have been using R&C for years now, they always do a top notch job... I just got my jeep back from them today and they blow my mind everytime I get a car back from them! I brought my car to them after getting T-boned on my driver side. Not only did they fix the damage but they cleaned up the whole car and gave it back to me looking nicer then the day I bought it. They are true professionals to deal with and always take care of any of our needs. I know that when they have my car, its in good hands.. As long as we crash our cars, they will always be our go-to shop.. Another job well done, thanks again!

I recommend going elsewhere! I went to R&C for a quote on repairing some rust on my vehicle and basically got insulted. The gentlemen who I dealt with was disinterested from the start when I told him it was not an insurance job and I was out of pocket. He told he had no interest in performing rust repair work on my Jeep because Jeeps rust. He said Id be back in 6 months for him to re-do the job. He told me to take hundreds of dollars out of my wallet and burn it as Id be accomplishing the same thing! I went elsewhere and received an excellent repair and excellent customer service.

WARNING, WARNING, this is my second time I had work done at RC. Each time I had to go back and have them re-fix. Even if you are not paying don’t have them touch your car. Simple driver’s side door, $1,300-dollar job, had to go back now twice, 1st in-side door panel not set right, rough edges around door handle and door edge, actually left painters tape on the bottom of the car I peeled off. Pleasant office staff however incompetent workers. NOW I have a dent on the hood and I get we didn’t work on that side of the car.

Did an excellent job repairing my Rav 4. Mike was very helpful with information on OEM parts. Paint matched perfectly. Ray was also very courteous and made sure I was happy with the repairs when I picked up the vehicle. Would recommend their shop to a friend.
