For several reasons - the staff is friendly. Their website tells you exactly what you are paying for in terms of expertise. The lady stylist that cut mine hair was responsive to my comments and requests. When hair dryer got too close to my nape, I asked her to move away, she took care from that time to ensure that I would not feel the extreme heat. She informed me what would happen and also gave tips without hyper marketing on her services. Oh - once you make the appointment they will call to remind you - I like that service. I liked the envelopes they have for tipping and an atm machine where I could get cash. Theres a small coffee bar when you can have tea, coffee, water and hang out if you choose. It is a total services salon and I enjoy coming here when its time for my hair cuts. worth the 5 star rating.

I have been a client of Total Look Salons for several years. I have enjoyed all services from color and cut to nails and waxing. I have always had a great experience! I was more recently impressed by them to learn that they now have an Academy in Southport where the students offer services at a discounted rate. I will definately use the Academy students for my weekly blow dries!

I have been going to The Total Look for over 30 years. Wouldnt go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Cher has worked hard to make this a top notch salon and one where you can go for color, cut, blow dry and that special occasion. If you have a question about corrective color, this is also the place to visit as they have numerous master stylists.

Experts at cut and color. Extensive spa services available. They make you feel welcome the moment you come through the door. Not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
