I have a 1999 VW, that has been working ok, last thursday I saw some stains on the garage and someone told me to bring it to Jennings (my friend had a VW 10 years ago). besides my right tail light was not working. After diagnosis they repaired the leaking problem and the tail light and I paid for it.....and that was the beginning of my nightmare. AC doesnt work now... It was working Thursday and now they say that maybe it has not been working before. I tried to make them understand that it cannot be a coincidence...maybe their technician cause a short circuit or something when repairing the tail light, but they say that their technician would tell them if that happened (yeah right!). Then they show me a "burned" area in the the fuse box , something I didnt see 3 weeks before (cause i checked that for my tail light), but his argument was that It has been there for a long time and that an old car like mine doesnt come with warranty...so at the end is my fault for having a 1999 car.....and if I want the AC working again is "just" 650 $ ! unbelievable. My AC was working, I think it was damaged when they were repairing the tail light or God knows what happened when I left my VW there for service..very disappointed. P.S. One of the technicians there told us that the AC was working when they ran the diagnosis in the service....but nobody wants to be responsible for this damage....make your own conclusion.

The staff at Jennings is warm, smart and professional. I actually enjoyed taking my car in to them because I got to catch up with Derek, Billy and the gang. They helped me keep my car going, even when I was on a budget! Jennings have talented mechanics who care about their clients/friends. Also as a woman, I always felt like they treated me the way they would any client, which sadly is not always the case with car garages. So kudos for the feminist vibe as well!

In my experience, Jennings is by far the best Auto Repair Shop around -- with the highest level of honesty, expertise, and customer service you can find. For over 18 years, they have done a superb job of keeping my cars [previous Mercedes, current BMW] in top shape. They have provided consistently excellent service on every level, often exceeding expectations. Would recommend Ward Jennings team to anyone. A+ ! Id give them 6 stars if I could.

I have brought my car to Jennings four times. Each time they appear to do satisfactory mechanical work. However, each time they have managed to scratch my car on the paint or wheels. Jennings also backed my car into the bushes next to the store making more scratches in the paint. Jennings may fix your car mechanically but if you find appearance is important for your car I would suggest you go elsewhere.

The team at W Jennings is dedicated to following through and solving problems great and small on my 91 MB. I appreciate their fair pricing, great communication from Bill and and Darek, and easy access to Ward, the owner. Honest service providers for foreign auto repair can be hard to find. Look no further than this honest, clean, and user-friendly shop right off 95 in Fairfield-Southport neighborhood.
