I agree with the fact that the place fell apart when Lisa left. I spent my whole valentines day in there when all I wanted was highlights. I went in at about 9 am and left around 6 pm. And my hair was a mess. I left with my hair in a wet braid. Aurora truly damaged my hair, the bleach was left in my hair way too long because she decided to put me to the side to take care of her customer friends. Instead of finishing me up, my appointment, my scheduled time, she kept putting me to the side and taking other people all at once. Oh and not to mention that she will try to get as much money from you as she can. Even though you pretty much see this a lot now a days shes very sketchy, she wanted to charge me 600 dollars for a few highlights and a cut. Also-the cut- i told her i wanted a nice fun hair cut and she literally cut off like an inch of hair and was like there! All done! -_- I do not recommend coming here now that Auroras the owner.

This place went down hill ever since the owner Lisa left. She truly did a great job with colors and cuts. But now that some Aurora lady is in charge of the place, it is the worst place you can go to get your hair done. After spending 9 hours in this stupid place I left with burnt damaged orange hair. I didnt receive an apology, they still wanted to charge me the 200 dollars for it, and then this Aurora lady told me that I should keep going to get treatments done to fix my hair. ???????!!!!!!!! I have a picture of my perfectly good healthy hair the way it was before I went into that place. My hair was in really good condition because I have always made sure to take good care of it. I made the stupid mistake into coming to this place where they ruined it to the point where my hair literally broke in half. My hair felt like gum. Like rubber. Please do yourself a favor, save yourself a headache and dont come here.

HORRIBLE! Worst place to get your hair done. I went to get a simple hair style done and ended up paying for a hair style I could have done at home and better. All they did was curl my hair and pined it back. Thats it nothing special and i paid $75. And the owner has such an attitude problem she was lucky it was too late for me to cancel with her. If you go here make sure they have your appointment at the right time because they manage to screw that up too.

I love coming here although its very overpriced and wish they would lower prices so I dont have to go to my other salon for color I love the way they blow dry my really curly hair I then decided to get a Brazilian blowout and it was ahmazing I love how easy my hair is to manage and although it was about 400$ at the end it was def worth every penny but I recommend Brenda or Arlene the rest arnt the best and have attitude problems but overall I love them

This place SUCKS!!!!!! I agree that this place went downhill once Lisa left. They are SO money hungry and dont even focus on just you during your appointment. Each stylist is sometimes working with 3 people at once. WTF is that!?!? Paying 300 dollars for a half ass job and hair that smells like chemicals once you leave. All they want is money. So overpriced and overrated. If you want to walk out looking like Fester from the Adams family, go here.

Before moving to Wallingford several years ago, my former hair salon got the haircut, color and highlights just right. Since then, I thought Id have to settle for a darker tone and no highlights. Then I discovered L.A. Hair, and Aurora got the hair looking just like it used to, including an excellent haircut. Just had my hair done for the second time and am very satisfied, thanks to Aurora and a friendly staff.

Had a wonderful experience today at LA Hair. My former hair dresser had cut my hair uneven and LA Hair not only cut it perfect, but styled it beautifully. Very friendly and one on one customer service. Found my new salon. Highly recommend.
