This is my favorite PO office. I live in Farmington but work about 15 to 20 min away from this post office. I always swing by after work if I need to ship something. People working there are very friendly. Once I mailed a priority mail Saturday and expected it arriving my daughters home at Chicago by Monday or Tuesday. She needs the mail by Sunday. However the mail was still on road by Wednesday. I went to the post office near my home to inquire and ask if they could do something to help. I was told they could not do anything and two days delivering was not guaranteed. After work I went to this post office and explained my situation. The gentleman took my tracking number, searched on their system. Eventually he gave a phone number. I called the number the same night. I got a call back next morning. The mail was delivered Saturday morning right after the Chicago post office was opened.

Great customer service. All of the personnel are friendly and very helpful. Usually not crowded and there is enough staff to get in and out quickly, however they can be quite busy at lunchtime. My favorite P.O. in CT. Far better service than most!
