Its three days until Christmas, and my primary gift for a loved one, a metal print, was folded in half and stuffed inside of a mail box. Obviously the lovely example of human grace just brimming with potential was really on to something when they heard the metal bend and warp just before cramming it inside the box, instead of walking half a minute up the street to drop it off at our door step. Its not like there was family there all day for this very specific reason (there was). Needless to say, my festive mood is pretty tarnished, and I thought Id call up the local post office to have some words. And so I did call, and I let the phone ring. And ring. And ring. For an hour, it rang, until the post office closed. If they have a phone, its likely been ripped out of the wall to save their oh so precious time. Ive been in this post office. Ive also worked retail. I dont care if theyre under staffed. A team of workers at K-Mart could handle the volume this location has, and they make minimum wage. Hell, they could handle it AND be on their cell phones! I have no sympathy for this deplorable lack of communicative venues, and Ill be sure to be in to Ho Ho Ho their Holiday up just like they did mine.

Insanity! Ordered an item, and the company used "UPS Mail Innovations." The tracking number I was given said it was delivered by USPS. I never received it. The company that sent the order told me to contact the USPS. Ive called 3 separate times...rings until it stops ringing...about 5 minutes worth of ringing. I emailed them with a complaint yesterday and havent heard a thing. I called the 800 number for USPS, entered my tracking information, but I wanted to speak with customer service. The recording said I couldnt speak with anyone until I entered tracking information. Because the package was apparently "delivered," I was not able to go any further. There was not option for "lost mail." I sent another complaint by email. I cant get a refund or reshipment for my purchase until the USPS provides a response. Insanity...

The nicest thing I can say is that people who work there are friendly sometimes. But the rest is pretty bad. Delivery is the worst - once or twice a month we get our neighbors mail, or no mail. We rarely receive our packages, typically they just sit at the post office and when we track the package through the vendor, they always say, "delivery attempted." But we have yet to have a yellow slip on the door, so that story seems rather dubious. Im in the middle of trying to find a package now and since no one ever answers the phones Ill be braving the long lines after work. I do think part of the problem is that theyre understaffed, but either way its a nightmare for customers. Were moving in a couple months and leaving this post office behind is something Im greatly looking forward to.

This is the 10th different Post Office whose service area Ive lived in and has been the most frustrating to deal with. 10 months ago I moved into the last house built on a street in a new subdivision and the carrier refuses to deliver mail or packages to my home because of "safety issues". There has been no construction on the street for 10 months and FedEx, UPS, trash trucks and School busses regularly travel on the street. There are several other subdivisions in Delaware whose Post Office delivers mail to homes in the middle of an active construction site. The postmaster apparently lacks the ability to correct this situation.

Ordered 3 packages from Amazon on Black Friday. All 3 had 2-day shipping. The package sent through UPS arrived right on time, whereas the two smaller items that went through USPS were marked "Undeliverable." I find it astounding that UPS was able to deliver to my address, but USPS was not. It must not have been an error in addressing on my end. Thats for sure. When I called the Post Office they were supposed to be at, I sat with a ringtone in my ear for 2 minutes before I gave up. Absolutely deplorable service from that group of idiots. Dont try to appeal to the people if you cant back up your claims with actual service.

I wish I could do no stars as well. The pick up window for Newark was so atrocious.. The lady that thought she was helping and was nasty. I heard her tell the other gentleman dont make me go back there to check and theres nothing there for his mail. He had his mail on hold. As for me I was just picking up a letter and it took her 15 mins or more with an attitude. It was like I asked her to Rob a bank. If you dont like your job then give it to someone that needs it and wants it. If I can help it I will never go back to this post office again. I will try to get my mail to be delivered again. 3/29/17 at 11:30am

Its 1:38 pm I have been calling this office since 12:00 pm still no answer and this is nothing new. I went to the office yesterday to fix my problem and the line was ridiculous. My mail has been stopped on more than one occasion, granted I check my mailbox once a week but that is my preference. They should not be allowed to make that decision unless its obvious the tenant has moved. Overall i have been trying to contact this office for my mail and have not been able to reach anyone. Currently picking up the phone to call again since I was just hung up on.

This post office is horrible. Theyre very inconsistent in delivery times. You can go days (currently on day 6 here) without receiving your mail. I had a year subscription to a magazine, and only received 4 issues out of the 12 that were mailed. Also I was tracking a package that said it was delivered on a Tuesday. No mail Tuesday. I called Wednesday about it (no mail delivered again), and it showed up Thursday. Im disgusted by their service here. The people that work inside though are very friendly and helpful. Thats the only positive thing I can say.

They lost certified mail sent to me... They say they will call me back each day to let me know whats going on, never do. Their line is always busy and the supervisor never pick up their phone. Then its my job to let whoever sent it that its lost so they can resend it, when they got paid to do a service, they should i dunno who exactly sent it. They just really dont know how to serve their customers, needs to hire employees that that have enough pride to do their job, you would think they are getting paid mcdonalds wages, the way they treat people.

I am upset with the whole postal system! I stopped getting my mail about 3 weeks ago, called the post office and made them aware of the problem. They said they would investigate it and call me back within 2 days. Never recieved a call. Called back again, and was told they had to re-investigate the situation. Never a call. Called back again, and was told to call consurmer affairs, and guess what? Had to leave my name and number to recieve a call back! Tried to call my local branch and just put on hold for 20 min.
